So whose property and businesses are we after now. Remember what happened to the Japanese in BC. Go and talk to some of them as I have. The problem of course is the the older generation who were treated so badly and robbed of the businesses are pretty well all dead. This is just an excuse to hurt others. There is a white caucasion woman in BC who cannot travel outside of Canada, evey though she worked all her life and saved her money so that she and her husband could travel when they retired. Her name is not on a Canadian list but it is on an American one and other countries will not let her travel there. The Americans say that she has to cross the border where they can arrest her and then they will consider her case. Viva La freedom aye. This could happen to you or anyone of us.

I don't have any economic training but even I could see at least 15 years ago that Ontario was in trouble with its dependance on the Car market. Greedy owners (shareholders?), greedy unions, greedy people in general that is what we have. This also instigated the housing market bubble. Why does anyone need a house over 5000 square ft and only two bedrooms.

There have been no countries more arrogant in this world than the British and the Americans, except Hitler and the Holy Roman Empire, they have worked hard to sow the seeds for this No one can treat another group of people with such distain and get away with it. They are reaping what they have sown.

Interesting, I find the women in our community are running the volunteer organizations, Palliative Care, the Food Bank etc, and that a fair amount of these women's husbands are sitting at home drinking and watching TV. In Passages, which I read years ago it described exactly this scenario. As women come into their own, their children grown up, they become more proactive and a fair amount of them are also taking on the care of their elderly parents and sometime their grandchildren.

Now I know why some poster are so against the CBC, this is information that all of us should have especially when we consider putting private information on the internet.

I have been very interested in the huge voter turnout in the US. My question has been to the people I come in contact with is," Would you wait in line four hours to vote" and the resounding answer has been "NO". What is this all about?. What does this say about us as Canadian Citizens?

Is it just companies taking advantage of the situation? The car companies and subsidaries are now hiring by contract only or at least Honda is. If you have a contract and want a job then take $11 an hour or leave. Some can but a lot of family men can't So what is this. just opportunistic capitalists?

It takes two to tango. The opposition parties have to choose to work with the government. Before the election call the opposition parties wasted way too much time trying create scandals from nothing with things like the Shcriber or Cadman affairs. Yes it does and Harper is an out and out Bullie, proven in his last term. He made almost every vote a vote against his gov't thereby calling an election and the things he did get through he refused to discuss when it went to committee, having his reps block any discussion by walking out. Do you think Canadians are this dumb?>

And Harper's own bullying tactics, he will have to learn that he can't push Quebec around. But he won't.

Actually all news stations were reporting that it was mostly part time jobs. So how many of these jobs are doubled up, by that I mean one person working two and even three of them. They don't report that do they? Remember Mr. Clements little problem with the Sars thing. His gov't had laid off 20% of the Bimbos/Nurses and then he discovered that not only was the epidemic in nurses and doctors but that many of his Bimbos/Nurses were working two hospitals.

Ontarions have a good view of what can be done by a Conservative majority and how long it takes to get back to the way it was. Schools for one thing, 407 for another etc.

It amazes me that CPC people also do not tell us that it was our strong banking rules that have protected us so far. Who put those rules in Place, the former gov'ts mostly Liberal and what would Harper have changed if he had the power? He would have cut all the rules, privitized the Central Bank which CPC consider socialist and we would have been in the same Mess as the US. Remember Harper is or would like to have been Bush's lap dog
