I'm aware that the solar minimum has been prolonged in this cycle. So what, we have seen other strange things in recent years happening out there. Never really looked before.

This could be fake news, meant to stir the panic-pot a little more. Hence "lockdown" period. Even the Sun is in lockdown, that's how screwed we are.

Some outlets imply this is the dawn of a new ice age. It is far more likely just good-old regular variation in seasonal temperature.
