  1. From poll results I've seen it seem the Cons are around 35-40% and the Libs seem pretty stable at 28%. Seems the Election will be about a Con majority, yes or no. I don't know that Canadians will say yes to giving Harper absolute power.
  2. The Con-DMCA will die (Harper's anti-consumer copy right bill)
  3. That would be the cons right? Makes sense, since large parts of their crime platform is based off appeals to emotion.
  4. And thus the real information is dredged from the sea of pc trash.
  5. The NDP has rejected the Conservative budget. It's looks as if an election is inevitable, unless Harper partners up with his friends in the Bloc. http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/story/2011/03/22/pol-budget-main.html
  6. Liberals: tax and spend Conservative: spend One ends up with massive deficits, one does not. Can you guess which one?
  7. So if he isn't elected he will return to his previous job? Shocking stuff people.
  8. There's nothing overly dangerous with nuclear power, provided it is competently managed. Privatized nuclear power on the other hand is very dangerous.
  9. That's not atypical of the private sector. Higher costs and less accountability as I say.
  10. I don't know why your saying "so much for conservative" It's been clear for the last 5 years that the Harper Regime is more concerned with the destruction of the public sector than with fiscal expediency. The only people who believe otherwise are party boosters.
  11. TBH I think the passage doesn't go far enough. It should be mentioning all the barbaric islamic practices that aren't tolerated in Canada.
  12. Why does he even need to bother? Harper already paved the way...
  13. Good. The fewer politicians who believe the earth is 5000 years old the better.
  14. If theres an election I pray for another minority. None of the current 'leaders' deserve a free hand.
  15. The conservatives commited election fraud, plain and simple. TI find it funny that conservative party boosters want to crack down on non-existant crime, and at the same time want everyone to ignore their own parties law breaking.
  16. Theres a simple way to avoid funding any party, don't vote for them.
  17. I meant to say that 37% was their highest election result, my mistake.
  18. afaik the highest the conservatives have ever polled under harper is 37%... You know, outside of majority territory... Well, compared to you I am, though I don't know if that's much of an accomplishment.
  19. When in doubt attack the person... You've followed your leaders example well.
  20. Yeah, think of those lucky Thompson residents.
  21. And the Canadian communication market continues to get less and less competitive as big monopolistic companies buy up assets.
  22. Very true. The man took a 9.1 billion dollar surplus and turned it into a defecit... before the recession even hit.
  23. I already knew that 9/10 baby boomers were as dumb as nails, so that tells me nothing.
  24. Lets sweeten the deal, and say the planes crashing into the senate.
