Considering how much you bash the liberals I'm surprised to hear you say that. -
Harper raises canada international reputation

In other words a majority of Canadians believe harper to be a wingnut? Good to hear you admit it! Thats the first step. -

Harper Regime. Now thats accurate, as the cons are nothing without their leader. -

Yep, the country was better off when harper was an honest Albertan wingnut. -
Feds give $1B to Vale to Kill Jobs in Thompson

I never said that there weren’t taxes paid out. I was responding to M.Dancers laughable statement that, unless you're a shareholder, you as a Canadian deserve nothing for letting these multinationals operate within Canada. -

If they want to come and use Canadian land, then Canadians should benefit. Like if someone wants to rent a room in your house, your going to expect them to pay. And when you sell a house there are taxes that get paid out to the Government. This is a disturbing theme from the cons though, their the only party I know of that places foreign profit over citizen well-being. -

Canadians should be benefiting over multinational interest. Its our country, their just abusing using it. -

Liberals considering no-confidence vote
Battletoads replied to Topaz's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Maybe so but it still doesn't explain why the cons are hiding costs from Canadians. -

Yet another reason why Canada should be kept for Canadians. The only people who benefit from these multinationals in the end are their shareholders. -

I'm confused why cons won't tell us what their needless crime bill costs? I'm sure it will be a reasonable like all conservative legislation.. -
Most Canadians know well enough that a haper majority is a bad thing, hence why the cons numbers always drop whenever they near the high thirties.
-
When without a real argument claim your opponents are racist eh? Last I checked spekaing a languaged didn't dictate your race. Even the dolt Haper has admitted Quebec is a seperate nation. Why did he choose English? The simple answer is because it was useful. French is not useful in western Canada, unlike Asian languages.

Well its been nothing but a slow downward spiral so far, maybe with a majority the cons can turn that into a vertical dive.

The west no doubt felt it best to try and work with the rest of Canada. Quebec on the other hand had a tantrum and refused to sign it because their leader, who refused to stay at an English hotel in Ottawa, wasn't present at a spur of the moment late night meeting. In Quebec they refer to this as the night of the long knifes (persecution complex much?)

The west (Alberta, BC, Sask, Toba) contains about 10.5 million people, all of which are routinely ignored in favour of the 7.8 million who live in quebec. Ontario has about 5 million more people than Quebec... Evidently only 1.8% of manitobans, about 20 thousand, use French as a primary language, significant my ass. (Census 2006) A constitution written by the east ignores the west, shocking. And I guarantee if you go into quebec as a native English speaker you will be discriminated against.
