Trump still quiet on death of Alexei Navalny
ironstone replied to godzilla's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
It's ironic that so many of the people that are upset about Trump not speaking out on the Navalny subject are the same one's salivating at the prospect of Donald Trump, political opponent, going to jail, just like Putin did to Navalny. No doubt some of you want Trump to ultimately suffer the same fate as poor Alexei. It is a lynch mob mentality. -

I do. And I am fine with the fact that in a civilized society, defendants are entitled to the presumption of innocence. No matter what we may think of them one way or another. They have the right to a fair trial, even though the justice system is clearly not infallible and does get things wrong sometimes. And it should go without saying, the justice system should never be weaponized against political opponents. -

Would you at least agree that tensions and hostilities throughout the world are worse now as compared to Trump's time as president? I think any fair minded person would have to admit that. If you ever look at the MSN news page, you will notice many articles about the increased possibility of WW3. -

Unbelievable. You do not know what the primary purpose of a defense lawyer is? -

Putin invaded Georgia when Bush was in office. Putin invaded Crimea when Obama was in office. Putin didn't invade any countries when Trump was in office. Putin invaded Ukraine when Biden was in office. Can you spot anything that stands out from the above facts? -

I form my opinion of Trump's legal issues from brilliant minds like Alan Dershowitz instead of people like Whoopi or Joy. -

But you're the one that made that particular comment about extinction. So you can't back up that statement? -

And the likely cause of the extinction would be...? -
It's hard to know if this story is real or not. If true, it's certainly disgusting and to be honest, it wouldn't surprise me in the least. Male Professor, 50, Again Allowed to Compete, Shower with Teen Girl Swimmers (msn.com)

Trump still quiet on death of Alexei Navalny

You guys are upset(justifiably) at how Putin persecuted Navalny, but at the same time, you are cheering on the persecution of the biggest political rival to the Democrats in the US. -
Trump still quiet on death of Alexei Navalny

I'm not in any way denying that this man is dead because of Putin. It is correct that he was in jail only because he was a political rival. And we all know what happens to Putin's rivals. But it's also true that Biden and his party are trying to put his most serious political rival in jail. -

No determination of the cause of death yet? I wonder if he killed himself just like Jeffrey Epstein?🙄 -

There is one kind of crime associated with the open southern border, fentanyl and the Americans dying because of it. There is that. How about Americans murdered by illegals? Every year, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrests nearly 2,000 illegal aliens who’ve committed murder in this country. Last year, for example, ICE caught 1,323 illegals with homicide convictions and 390 with homicide charges pending. (They’re all guilty.) That’s about 1,700 Americans murdered by illegals every year, or five a day.(Ann Coulter- who routinely shits on Republicans too)

No offence, but you're a perfect example of why people might be tuning out all the anti-Trump rhetoric. You come on this site often, and you are always ranting Trump this, Trump that. He's the devil, he's Hitler. He's the worst person to ever walk the face of the earth blah blah. On and on it goes. It's been the same thing played out in the mainstream media since 2016, non-stop attacks. It's the constant 'little boy who cried wolf' routine and it doesn't grab attention like it once did. And it doesn't help to keep demonizing anyone and everyone that doesn't buy into it.

Tucker's Interview With Putin
ironstone replied to WestCanMan's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
I watched it last night and thought it was a pretty good interview except for the rather long history Putin gave at the beginning. No interruptions, Putin was given all the time he wanted to speak. I would recommend watching the Oliver Stone documentary, Ukraine on Fire to get a clearer picture of the Nazi element to this situation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKcmNGvaDUs This is of course also about aggressive NATO expansion. No matter what people think of Putin, the world has to hear Russia's side of the story too. -
Tucker's Interview With Putin

I'm very curious to see what emerges from this interview with Putin. Tucker's critic's are already saying it will of course be a softball interview. Not a hard hitting interview like Erin Burnett of CNN had with Zelenskyy.😒 It was somebody on this site that got me onto Paul Joseph Watson, love his takes on current events. -
Environmentalists act in strange ways. They don't think twice about stopping traffic which forces cars to sit idling. Seems counterproductive if the goal is to reduce emissions. Remember how politicians were going on and on about said wildfires? Crackpots start wildfires, clearly they want to push for climate change action. And it actually does get results. Rise in extreme wildfires linked directly to emissions from oil companies in new study | CBC News This is why they start the fires, to get people to panic. That's rich coming from people that believe there are dozens of genders.😉
