  1. I have mixed feelings on whether the Trump administration should respond to Democrats for the lengthy lawfare campaign they waged against him. Two wrongs don't make a right. But on the other hand, it's almost a certainty that the Democrats will continue to wage war against Trump by any means necessary when they get the opportunity. When it comes to dirty tactics, it's the knife to a gunfight when it comes to Republicans vs Democrats.
  2. You're jumping all over the place here.https://nypost.com/2024/06/08/us-news/yale-law-professor-says-trump-isnt-a-convicted-felon-despite-guilty-verdict-heres-why/ You defend the 'fundamental right' for bail. Fair enough. Then you decry 'convicted criminals' being allowed the right to defense.
  3. Rather selectively. Allowing millions and millions to walk across an open border is 'enforcing the law'? The FBI going after parents? The Democrats aren't exactly the party of law and order. They weaponized the DOJ like no other administration.
  4. What did Biden/Harris and the Democrats do to unite the country over the last four years?
  5. When we talk about governments spending borrowed money, it's not really a cut if they decide to reduce that allocated budget. If they were initially planning to borrow 2 billion, then later decide to borrow only 1.5 billion, it's debatable whether it's really a cut as opposed to a spending reduction. They are still overspending at the end of the day.
  6. The federal government will spend $46.5 billion on debt servicing charges in 2023/24, which is nearly what the government expects to spend on the Canada Health Transfer ($49.4 billion), and significantly more than it expects to spend on childcare benefits. https://www.fraserinstitute.org/sites/default/files/federal-and-provincial-debt-interest-costs-for-canadians-2024.pdf Other countries might have higher debt, but that is still no reason for Canada to continuously overspend.
  7. More than one trillion in debt and the Liberals keep blowing past their estimated budget deficits. A massive expansion of the public service. Maybe we are long overdue for some serious spending reduction(not cuts).
  8. Didn't Jean Chretien also make substantial cuts in the Public Service? Quite frankly, Trudeau has massively expanded the public service. It's probably way bigger than it needs to be.
  9. The Liberals constantly talked about Harpers hidden agenda. So what was his hidden agenda? Please don't tell me it was soldiers in the streets. I have to wonder just how many different groups are getting funding from various levels of government?
  10. Wishing EVERYONE a Merry Christmas!🎅 Even if you've been naughty(the left) or nice(conservatives)😉
  11. A successful smear campaign? You're basically saying that unproven or even baseless allegations are a fait tactic to deny someone a position. The end justifies the means?
  12. I guess you didn't get my main point. Why did the DOJ not charge him if there is all this supposed evidence?
  13. Hunter Biden-'Smartest person I know" and with 24/7 access to the president. The claim that Hunter is just an average, ordinary citizen is laughable. The Democrat controlled DOJ did not end up charging Gaetz after the investigation. Doesn't that seem odd IF all those allegations were true?
  14. But the DOJ didn't charge him. And if all of these allegations were true, wouldn't that mean that Gaetz is a Republican version of Hunter Biden? The same Hunter Biden that was portrayed as a poor victim by the media?
  15. My point was that politicians and media pundits should not be calling half of Americans stupid for not supporting the Democrats. It's the same tactic you constantly use in this forum, hurling personal insults while you appear to be enraged because we disagree with you. "FOS LIES! DUH!" response over and over again.😒 It's a big reason why nobody takes you seriously in here.
  16. That sentiment is right in line with things Hillary and Biden said about Trump supporters. A lot of those same people voted Democrat in 2020 but clearly were not happy with 4 years of Biden/Harris. When voters are disparaged like that, it won't endear them to the candidate who is trashing them.
  17. What is Afd advocating for that makes them dangerous?
  18. There are a lot of people that refused to give a certain Donald Trump the presumption of innocence when Democrat prosecutors starting piling charges on him.
  19. It's a leftist's dream to ban all political opposition instead of letting voters decide.
  20. This story won't be in the news cycle too long.
  21. He does not mince words, and he has been identified. What will happen to him?
  22. All I can say is, wow!
  23. I think the Biden's dislike for Harris is too strong and they would be unlikely to give her a gift like that.
