We need less taxes and less social services not more. We need to cut Refugee and Immigrant services drastically. We spend far too much on these people who aren't citizens of our great nation. We need to decrease spending on freeloaders and increase social assistance and disability benefits for real Canadians who are in need. Why should refugees and immigrants get everything while real Canadians are forced to suffer in squalor?

I am a law abiding citizen without a criminal record. I do own firearms. I am ready for the day when the economic system collapses and people start fighting in the streets over food. Obama is just a caretaker President. The Country will look the same as it does today in 4 years if Obama gets in again. I think that Hilary Clinton will run in 2016 on the Dem ticket and win.

No, Canada is situated better. We could easily convince a tropical Caribbean nation to become a Canadian province. We can then install a governor there to run things while building a big military base. Extending our reach and influence.

Does this young person come from a culture that says it's ok to hurt women? This is a huge topic that needs to be discussed. If his parents are teaching him that it's ok to hurt women then they need to also be arrested since they are responsible for him until he is 18. Where are the parents in all of this?

This is terrible that we have such blatant radical Islamic thinking here in Canada, that we are importing this mindset from parts of the world. The media is not helping with it's constant criticism of the US and Israel. We need to support these countries unequivocally and everything they do.

Show me a time when Chretien or martin did that. Chretien won his majorities with roughly the same or less popular vote percent than Harper did. I don't see why the Tories need to be held to a differen't standard.

Massive marches down Yonge Street showing off our military might. Fighters and bombers fly overhead. New tanks and missiles in the procession while thousands of soldiers goose step down Yonge all look to the right in unison as they pass by our beloved leader to the tune of our national anthem. All the while our PM salutes the crowd and his military from his perch high atop the balcony as the crowd goes wild below. That would be cool.

As long as Arab rockets and suicide bombers are killing Israeli citizens the Arabs have nothing to bargain with. They are simply wasting their time. Crowds in Gaza and west bank cheer when 9/11 attacks happen and cheer when an Arab blows himself up in Israel. Hamas which is the Arab government in those places in listed as a terrorist group around the world and you want the Israeli government to sit down and have meaningful discussion with them? Our group in with a Jewish group actively taped people at the Pride event who had involved themselves with anti Israel/anti Jewish messages and overt sexual acts in public, in full view of children who were present. We forwarded these tapes to the various levels of government responsible for partial funding of these events. in the form of grants. No hatred involved.

She's read over my shoulder a few times when I'm posting and says what I'm saying is ridiculous much of the time. She doesn't like politics as much as I do, she says I'm obsessed with it...lol. She has her beliefs which are to the left of mine slightly, she's more of a true PC/Red Tory type Fiscal conservative-social Liberal. let's make sure we know that Obama is the one who is signing off on these drone attacks. He is commander and chief of the military. He makes all decisions.
