Hey Independant my businesses pay more in a year in taxes than you will make in your lifetime!! Businesses do not hire more people or pay more than they need to BUT Businesses that are doing well are going and NEED more employees, they reward their employees for helping them to be more profitable. That is what I do. I NEVER said I was suffering (Except under the reign of John" I'll stab you in the back" Chretien). Independant: You sound like the stereotypical 30 year employee of a union company that things the employer owes him the world and does not want to put more than 40% of your effort in to work for your employer. "Business and money run the world, business profits and all will be better off for it. Penalize big business and all will suffer for it."

I don't need more money from the government, less taxes is a different thing though. I would love to be able to say to ALL my employees hey 5% raise just becasue we are making so much and you helped me do it. I would love to pay for more of them to stop smoking or for more maritial counselling so they stay in happy productive families. Or be able to give to local charities more. You have no freaking clue who I am or what I do as a businessman in this country. You I have no idea who you are, you could be a welfare sucking sore on Canada's back. I want this country to do better and yes I want my businesses to do better so I can do more positive things for those I can effect. If you want to call me a greedy big business owner that lives off the coffers of the Federal Government then you Sir are a FOOL !!! You will find people that care about other people and have money understand a universal law that has been proven for centuries " If you give it will be given back to you." Or in words you may understand "Be generous and you will prosper". Look at people like Warren Buffet, Bill Gates; why do you think they are so rich???? By constantly exploiting people, NO BECAUSE THEY ARE GENEROUS!!! If more people in this world understood this prinicple the world would be one nicer place. We do not need the government to do it all for us like the Liberals, NDP and Green preach over and over. Let businesses prosper and they will do way more with what they have than the government would have ever done. So Mr. Independant if you want to accuse me of being a greedy big business owner you truly are an uneducated fool.

As a owner of a Nationwide business (except Quebec) in Canada I am thrilled Harper is in charge during these rough economic times. Dion and the Liberals would spend us into the worst economic downturn in Canadian history. The NDP would also spoend us into a blackhole and scare away ALL foriegn investment and business. The Greens well lets just say the Stone Age would be a nicer time. Harper has his head on straight, he is thinking not only of businesses, foriegn investment but also of the individual and he will keep the country on track as best possible with all the other nations around us going down the sh*tter. Big Business making money means more jobs, more foriegn investment, more people working and paying into the National Tax pool, more money for the governmetn to do the things that the individuals wwant them to do for the country! To believe anything else you must be drinking the crap the Liberals, NDP or Green Party are trying to pass off as Kool-Aid and it's gonna kill you and the country if you drink it!!

It is all a big lie by governments, scientists and corporations to get money moving their way. Scientists want more more for research, corporations will sell you any widget you ant to stop this latest "Fear mongering problem" ie: global warming, climate change. (Remember the gas shortages in 1975-76, there is NO MORE OIL, we are DOOMED, DOOMED WE WILL ALL DIE!!!!! and now 30+ years later and oil is still all over the globe in full supply.) Do some quick research, Mars, Mercury, Earth and Jupiter are all experiencing the same problem, "Climate Change", It has to be the sun that is doing it! You cannot be so stupid and self-centered to believe what e are doing here on earth is effecting Mars, Mecury and Jupiter too. Are you really that stupid or do you believe that everything still circles around the Earth even the sun???? The NDP, Liberals and Green Party are playing right into your FEAR and lack of knowledge and want you to believe that ENVIROMENT is way more important than our economy in these times and want to TAX you more. Harper is the only one pushing enviroment in the plan to the importance level it is supposed to be at and focusing on the economy. He is the only one with a clear intelligent plan to help the economy not send it into a spending blackhole like the Liberals with thier CArbon Tax and Green Shift spending. Be smart and don't drink the Liberal Kool-Aid, it'll kill you and Canada too!!!

I am so waiting fopr Dion to become Prime Minister and he lowers our "personal taxes" by say $10/year and then he bends every single Canadaian over his desk and gives them the big Carbon tax bill for $1,000 to $50,000 per person depending on your cash status. Wo that $10 is really going to help there. Dion's wording and rules on what will have the carbon tax on it is so open ended and unclear he could add a 10% straight across the board carbon tax on almost anything and then keep upping the tax rate anytime he wants. I cannot trust that lying Quebcec Liberal anymore than I could trust Trudaeu, Chretien or Paul Martin. You may all say the Liberals in the past have done such awesome stuff for this country but I have been around for 1/2 a century and I have not seen it. You also want them to penalize BIG BUSINESS and make them pay all the taxes while removing or slashing taxes to the individual. Well this does not work either, basic economic history shows time and time again here big business is taxed to the brink it fails and business goes elsewhere then the tax burden is greater on the individual. BUT history shows us when you lighten the tax rate on big business that big business profits more (not a bad thing, read on) then big business hires more people, big business (called BB from now on to save time) gives to charities more, BB pays more taxes because they made more money, BB gives better benefits to their employees, BB shows strength in economy so more companies come to that country because it is a good country to have investements in, BB promotes the country as an awesome place and then people come to vacation there and spend money, BB hires more people again and in turn more people are making more money so MORE TAXES AND THEREFORE: the small amount you gave in tax breaks to the BB is now more than made up by income from other sources and the country as a whole is in a better place finacially because of those tax breaks. THIS IS ECONOMIC HISTORICAL FACT PEOPLE DO THE RESEARCH!!!! The Liberals, NDP and the Greens say "Punish the big bad corporations for making money and polluting by taxing them to death" THIS WILL NOT WORK! BB will move away. The Liberals, NDP and Green's plans sound awfully like the start of communist state to me personally! And on the Enviroment, do a quick study on why Mars, Mecury, Earth and Jupiter are all having the smae climate change problem, is our polluting here on earth causing Mar's problems? NO, I challenge you it is the SUN and solar flare activity.

I must agree it is time to close the door to people coming from 3rd world countries that come to have all the good of this country but never contribute positively to the country. They want all the gold and glory of the country but avoid paying the taxes and costs of the nation saying that is the responibilty of those born here. Well if that is their attitude I say we keep the coutry for THOSE THAT ARE BORN HERE! and turf the rest of them. You may call me a bigot but as I get older I relize that so many people of colour quickly call us Canadian caucasins bigots and prejudice yet they are 10-20 times more prejudice than we are. They will not talk to thier neighbour because he is of a lower cast, they will not buy from that man because he is from China and therefore will try to charge too much, they will not have that nationality work on thier jobsite becasue they are bad luck, and so on and so on. I hear it from people of colour all the ime and it sickens me then they call me a racist because I do not want them here or I want them to pay the taxes when they are asking me if I ill sell them something worth over $10,000 and can they pay CASH so as to not pay the taxes???? GET REAL!!! PAY TO LIVE HERE. ANd if the Liberals get in, we will pay way more to live here!!! The Liberals sure were not there for me and my businesses like Chretien personally promised me. They have used this tactic for years and years but as soon as the Liberals are in power they are there for no one but themselves. Hypothetically: Obama calls up Dion after he is made PM, does not speak so loudly on the phone and says something about Nuclear War and Canada in the sentence. DION: We will blow you out of the water Obama, how dare you declare war on your good allie Canada. Then hangs up the phone and calls the strike on the White House. Obama: Is that frenchman ever a wingnut all I asked him was " If Canada was in favour of worldwide banishment of Nuclear War and he accuses me of declaring war on Canada." "What do you mean there are incoming ICBM missles from Canada? Do they even have any?" We all know the outcome of that scenario! Do we really ant a Prime Minister that cannot even answer a simple question in an interviewwwww and has to have it repeated over and over?? Oh no, I just got given a set of tickets to Hawaii, (for 2 weeks ith hotel, rental car for my wife and I), by one of the companies I buy product from. I better report this to the government right away so they can tax me on it because I own the company and I need to be punished for doing business with this other company and in the end employing hundred and hundreds of people Canada wide (Except Quebec). Like anyone in Canada does that, and you want to point your finger at Harper and say "Shame on you for taking those boots and not reporting it." If you claim absolutely EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING then you can point your finger at Harper for that but don't be a hypocrite no one has done that!!!

Hey moron did I say "Just do what I do and do not do any research follow blindly"???? No moron if you read ALL my posts I clearly ask OVER AND OVER AND OVER for all of you to do hard research, don't blindly believe everything you read on the internet and even sometimes in the media as they are a corporate entity that drives fear mongering too. Find a book on the subject, read the news, do research into the history of this country into what really happened in the past politically. Libraries have all the information you need, I know it is slow and much harder to do that the precious internet but if you want to be truly informed with truth to make a proper decision not driven by fear mongering and lies then you will do it. You can also talk to older people that have lives 40-50+ years or more and remember the history politically in this country to get so facts from them too. It is fun to sit down ith an older person and listen to interesting times like WW2, the great depression and times before all the modern immenities. So I encourage you do not follow me blindly, DO THE RESEARCH into Canada's political history!!

Nope , you will not find it on the web either. You have to goto the National Library in Ottawa to read the truth about the NDP parties history. I find it strangly suspicious you can not find a trace of info of it on the web but it is in hard book form there in the National library.

All I can say at this late hour after pouring over tons of these posts is: Oh my god I will be so glad when the election is over. All this bullshit is enough to make one want to puke. The election results on Oct 14th will be the final word of how the people in this country want us to move forward. No if the politicians actually listen and follo through ith their promises maybe the next election we will see a very strong clear majority government to be given the seal of approval to do wide sweeping changes that ill eliminate national debt and build a stronger country with less crime and a better quality of living for ALL Canadians. VOTE with your brains not your emotions and short term goals.

Did I say I voted for Mulroney, NO! Did I used to be a bleed it Liberal Red, YES. Chretien ruined all of that and now I see the truth behind that party after many of $1000 a plate dinners, lies, back stabbing and idiocy in the Liberal leadership. This is truth, Harper is honest and open and hands Quebec money trying to get them to play nice. Chretien and the Liberal party did it through the back door to all their Quebec friends and pissed off the rest of the country and most of the people in Quebec too. No one likes a politician that bribes and back door hands out contracts to friends. Thus why the USA $2 bill is not liked, it was a bribe payment in the depression years by politicians to the poor to vote for them. Still to this day the Americans hate the $2 bill. Thus why Dion and the Liberals are hated so much in Quebec, they deserve what they have sown for so many years. I hope Harper gets a massive Quebec vote to show the Liberals a Western can be liked in Quebec, then maybe some of the people in Ontario will open their eyes. (My apologies if you live in Ontario and vote CPC, you are the minority there.)

All I have to say to Craiger is this: WITH AGE COMES WISDOM! I have fallen down and picked myself up, I LEARN from my mistakes not bitch at those around me because they were older and they did not tell me to stop before the bump in the road. (Actually they did but when I as young LIKE YOU I NEVER LISTENED TO THEM!) They tried to warn me but NO I was too proud and damn I AS RIGHT. Well no that I am a lot older than my teens, twenties, thirties........ and have children of my own, I see the cycle. Listen to the people that are older, wiser and have don the hard road but now have come out on top in their personal lives and in the business world. When you get older and wiser you will see why many older wiser people are voting Conservative. BECAUSE they are the closest thing to making any sense in this country politically. Liberals want to spend us into oblivion like the USA is now, NDP want to blow the hole wad on social programs and tax any business that makes money and employees tons of people into bankrupcy, the Green party well they all ant us to hug a tree, smoke a joint and ignore the real issues while we are all stoned. You may think the last is a great idea but you will see it has life long concequences that really suck.

This is a good thing people, anyone that fights these things must be a crimanl at heart or doing something wrong so they are covering their asses so they do not end up on the bad end of the law. Do you know how much every year the government has to pay for criminals to get re-tried and new cases becasue they do not ant to give up their freedoms EVEN though they are guilty as can be but the law says e have to give them another case.

Running a country is like running a business. Somethings cost money (welfare, healthcare) and you so mo tangable payback for them but they do bring payback, put too much money into them and you WILL BANKRUPT your company. Other times you must make cuts, you have to spend in areas that will in return easily bring you profits. And like he mentions it is a very well knon fact that if you cut corporate taxes the companies will make more money, hire more people, give raises, donate more money to local charities (so the government does not need to do it at a cost of 3-1 over corporate dollars). Layton will spend up into a socialist state that bankrupts itself. Plus all he wants to do is tax the crap out of any business in Canada that is making money and give it all to the government to spend on social programs at a cost 3 times higher than if the companies donated the money to the charities to do it. Then those businesses will get sick and tired of his tax'em to death plan and move south the the USA so when send more money into the US economy. (think that is a lie, look at when Trudeau was in power and see how many Large Canadian companies moved heaquarters inot the USA!!) Then only Stephan "I don't have a freakin clue" Dion gets into power he will start pouring out new laws out his butt so fast we will all have our heads spinning and have to carry around a notebook to checkup on the Gov. of Cananda website the new law of the hour to see if exhaling is now illegal or if we can no longer use toilet paper but have to use our left hand again as it is more Eco=friendly. Then when the next wave of fear mongering starts say on "Fish are trying to take over the world" Dion will be there to fire out hundreds of new las forcing every Canadian to kill 5 fish a day to defend our nation. He plays into the hands of the fear mongerer perfectly. He also does not say it but he will like every other French Liberal piss off Quebec while handing them billion of dollars in freebies no other province gets and it will start a hole new seperation movement thus wasting more tax dollars. He has no clue how to run the country. The Green party well they will take the whole first day trying to hotbox the legislature room, then they will work blindingly fast at turning this country into a modern day Ice Age by banning anything that gives off CO2 including home heating. I do that everyday. I get gifts from owners of companies I do business with all the time. I have even had presents from 2 heads of countries (George Sr. & Tony Blair) People in politics in positions like the President, Prime Minister give gifts all the time as a show of respect between countries. Who gives a crap if any politician got a gift from a fellow head of country, you're probably just mad because Bush did not give Layton, Dion , etc boots.

My CPC party sign in my front yard was defaced with a terrible vial saying. I will not reveal my riding but the MP they wrote that saying about has a record for being currently the MP with the highest level of integrity in politics. (You could figure out who and here I am if you do some research.) The saying that was written on the sign directed to this MP was clearly the work of a young misinformed vandal that drank some other parties Kool-Aid and it sickened me. I would love 2 hours of that persons time to show him(or her) the truth of this MP and all the good they have down not only here but nationwide. I have a new sign and it is even bigger and I now have lights on it so it is seen even at night. I'm thinking of posting a larger one if it is damaged again. (Plus I had a camera installed to catch the little scum on tape so he can get a taste of the new justice system after the CPC get that changed.)

Oh and yes Aspertame is sooo good for you, do the research (what has not been removed from everywhere by the government because of the aspertame companies political bribes) that stuff is just pure evil. REsearch and find out it is causing cancers at an alarming rate, alzhiemers, and numerous other health issues can all be easily traced back to aspertame but got approved so we should just leave it on the shelves for people because in North America we are all so fat so we need to help people lose eight even if it kills 20-30% of them with other health complications. We can alays blame the deaths on thier fatness and continue to let the companies that make aspertame get filthy rich. Good investment tip, seriously, until they pull aspertame, invest in the companies that make it, high profits.
