The Media in North America do not make ANY money off of good news and unfortunately tons of the people here in North America (USA, Canada) lead boring normal lives thus they love excitement/ sensationalism to spice up their lives. The media knows that and they only look at the bottom 5-10% of the barrel all the time because the bad apples sink to that level. They control what we think, they provide us with our tinfoil beanies. I choose to think and research for myself even when it means taking my elected represenative in Parliament out for lunch to find out the truth and I can say it been 3-4 years since I flew to Ottawa to go see people there to find out the facts that would affect my business but that is what the elected oficials are for: TO INFORM THEIR CONSTITUANTS (spelled that wrong I am sure, its late, I'm tired.) The media hates people like me because I still know how to think for myself and I hate reality TV which is anything but reality! So my challenge to you, dig and find the good that people in your political party are doing, then look at the other parties and see what good thier people are doing. It might open your eyes to see the TOP 20-30% of the barrel. **(We all know there are floaters in the middle that do nothing in the political arena so they will not be noticed so they can hopefully slide through for another term because no scandal came about and nothing they tried good backfired in their face.)

I am a driven father, husband and business owner that desires to see a better Canada, prosperous, safe, a place where my daughter can safely walk outside at 9Pm at night, a place where my boys will not have fellow students trying to sell them pot or cocaine in their schools, a place where a husband holds dear his bride and divorce is minimized so the family stays healthy and whole. This is my dream for Canada! I do not see a perfect party to bring this about but I will be satisfied with baby steps for now and as the tide changes the steps will grow and the changes will become more everytime. Is Stephen Harper the best choice, NO but I firmly believe he is the best choice we have before us. Dion, Layton, and the rest are not even in the picture for the changes to happen. Dion would bankrupt the country causing more finacial and then marital stress on the himes which causes an unstable home where delinquent children will rise from. Layton and the Green party would spend tons too and slow the technilogical changes in the country and maybe even outlaw anything that is not green (computers, cell phones, etc.) then they would all fire up a big fatty and sit around THEIR utopia and get stoned while the country falls apart. Rebillion in the youth would grow, homes would be seperating at a faster rate than if the Liberals were in power. Joblessness would be at an alltime high. But hey they would all be high so NO PROBLEM! These are my opinions and yes I exagerated tons to get my picture across. You may call me old fashioned but my 3 kids are respected by adults, they get good grades in school, they are respected by thier peers (you can be a good kid, not a nerd and all the kids in school respect you. My daughter has won The Most Liked for the past 3 years running in her High School and she is loved by all the teachers and our friends that are our age and she is not rebellious. The boys have a hard act to follow but they are making a good run at it.) I love my wife, she loves me, 20 years is a few months away. I own a national business and I am liked and respected by ALL my employees. They do not want a union in to ruin what they have. They love that I respect their family life and promote it as a corporate value. I pay out of MY pocket for counselling for couples that are having troubles because a happy home promotes a good employee. Happy homes raise smart, well adjusted kids that turn out to be awesome people that want to work where their parent(s) did because they heard such great things about the company while they grew up. Call me old fashioned but IT WORKS!! Currently Stephen Harper works for me in how I want Canada to change and rebuild.

Oh I looked at the proposal, LOL, yes $1 of tax benefits for every $200 you pay is what it looks like to me but hey I just own & run a Nationwide company what would I know. Everyone do the research, Dion wants both his hands in your wallet and bank account. He is disguising it as an ECO-TAX because anything Pro-Enviromental is always good but he just wants the new tax to pay for his countless promises and be able to spend and spend and spend JUST LIKE THE BUSH REGIME HAS DONE TO BASICALLY BANKRUPT THE USA. Dion wants to put a PERMANENT carbon tax on EVERYTHING we buy! I do not know about you but my company and I pay enough taxes, I do not want to pay for all Stephane Dion wants to spend my tax dollars on. Once again the Liberals think the answer to all a country's problems are ADD more Taxes and let the government have an open cheque book to spend all they want on anything they want. You guys got me totally wrong! Christian Heritage goes way too far and will never be accepted as a viable party. Plus they are just stealing valuable voters away from a viable party like the Conservatives. Just like the Gren Party steals voters from the NDP but never will have a chance at a serious party and dashes the hopes of the NDP too by being in the race. I am not saying the 2 party system like the USA has is good or great but it does have its advantages to make a clear governmental choice and not be drawn between 5-7 parties running. And no, I do not like tatoos or earrings just because, well my body is in nice enough shape I don't have to make it look better by painting crap on it or hanging jewelry on it to look better. I am secure in who I am and what I look like so I don't need accessories. BUT LET ME BE CLEAR, that is MY opinion and I would never shove that down ANYONE'S throat because my choices do not mean they have to be everyone's choices. That is called a dictatorship. Canada is a Democracy (hard to work a democracy well with 5-7 parties running.)

Just like some people say humans can be born gay well my opinion is that everyone that iare not born in or live in Toronto are naturally born to hate Toronto (Most of Ontario too just because they harbour Toronto in their province) even if they live in Africa in a little tribe and have never heard of Toronto they will hate it. We are lying to ourselves and numbing our instictive knowledge to the point where we are in a moral downward spiralling whirlpool that will slowly consume a good country until it is another craphole like India, Afganistan, Iraq, (name any one of numerous African coountries) and so on and so on. I am about relationship with my family, friends, employees, clients, partner companies and I want the QUALITY of all those peoples lives along with mine to improve and change. No I am not gone! Just was on a business tripo that took me to the "great province of Toronto" and I AM SO GLAD I AM A WESTERN CANADIAN!! The world does not revolve around Toronto/Ontario as all those Ontarians I met last week so clearly thought. Let it be known I fired 4 upper management people in Ontario and I WILL be replacing them with people from out west.
