    Aye, many people do take umbrage, but as can be seen in this thread....not one is calling for his head.With respect to socialist.......the views and prose they use is extreme (and highly disagreeable) but not used to deflect from a discussion, in fact that member confines themself to a small corner of the room. Now the subject member ensures their prose is purposefully disruptive, rarely contributes to further discussion in the thread, and goes out of the way to attract the attention of the thread from the subject to themselves (I'm rubber you're glue, nyah nyah mentality). This in my definition is trolling......he could have a mainstream view or a batshit crazy view....it doesn't matter. A narcissist is a narcissist.

    Yes I was impressed by Kenney's rhetoric/sabre rattling time at the podium. He sounded sincere, he does that well. The oil sands cartel must've been worried that the whole TFW program was going to implode to concede on so many items.

    I guess if C&G's goal is to maintain all viewpoints (or trolling habits) then that is their decision. Of course if the result of that decision is lowered member participation....so be that too. They put a thread out about improvements to bring more people in......they are told why you are losing members and not getting recommendations......tell people to put on their big boy pants essentially......not the smartest business model.....but......heh.

    1) Why was the residency by-law enacted? If the need has disappeared then I'm sure its a defunct law on the books they are bound by. 2) Not that I agree but its not really racism. Six Nations see themselves as a sovereign nation (passports, etc.) so really its an immigration issue. You have a landed immigrant that's being deported. Too bad there's no appeal process. He could've been any nationality, white outrage can simmer down. Now until we address the sovereignty issue things like this will pop up time to time.

    As has been discussed in this thread, this ain't no democracy. No need for a bill of rights. Tyranny or Efficiency of the Majority makes no never mind to me. Besides we're not talking about supressing views.....only behaviours. There are viewpoints here I disagree with (you high on the list) but no one that I see says you live under a bridge. Now other's who don't really debate or further discussion with pointed references end up derailing topics, dissuading contributions, and disturbing contributors to the point they wish to leave.....should be tossed out on their ear.......cause this can be as totalitarian as it needs to be in order to achieve the goal (I assume); Maintain/increase membership.

    The skewed view of PR you have is distorted by looking through a FPTP lens. Minority gov'ts can't govern now as they are always looking for a majority.....decisions are only made to attain that goal. If you remove that incentive (perpetual minority) then all that is left is "horse trading" rather than the ransom demands that happen now. With PR you find common ground where you can achieve it rather through rigid coalitions.......and I'm not even truly sold on PR. I think we should modify FPTP to achieve the same end goal.

    It creates lack of involvement in threads......I personally try to avoid Israeli and/or American threads, not because I have no interest, just to ignore trolls.....its tedious trying to contribute to threads trying to leapfrog trolls.
