So do McDonald's......what's your point.......employer's like cheaper labour?

I bet Forum Research are a bunch of hacks too....http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/2015/04/21/most-canadians-favour-coalition-if-election-ends-in-minority-poll-shows.html Or maybe those people don't care about Duffy Trial......they're still wanting to know if Layton was getting happy endings on the public dime.

It's not a guide.....it's a documented reflection of a societal ideal chosen by the collective.....fought against by every brown bag bigot that crosses a message board.....even though they'd be the first crying for it if any of their hate speech landed them in hot water. Yes the reasonable limits are placed as to their infringement on other's rights. So the argument is the niqab must be infringing on women's rights....b/c you believe that......so it must be banned. Even though there is no universal....or even majority truth to it.

Canadian Federal Party Leaders Debates
Bob Macadoo replied to Big Guy's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
The large majority of policies the Greenies espouse are shared by a large proportion of the electorate. It doesn't mean they'll gain any seats because of it. If a party lost party status......you should be out......no matter what you did in the past........relegation's a bitch. -
Well they aren't Revenue Canada's finest contract temp employee.......

Thanks for the semantical argument.......tangerine meet tangelo. Goodbye.

I took a straw poll.....and every straw I polled didn't have an opinion about Duffy.......'nuff said.
-
In the last decade.....avg wage increase 9%......inflation 10%. I retract my statement.....increase the sunshine threshold 90% of inflation. Thanks for the counter argument.

You even have the freedom to think that too. What a great country.

Are Ontario teachers really going to Strike?
Bob Macadoo replied to Boges's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
Yes it is hyperbole....just as nauseating as your exaggeration. Teachers are collective bargaining.....you characterize it as bitching. -
Glad you didn't say demi-mod. He'd be running around beating minataurs......stealing golden fleeces, etc.

Liberals selling off 60% of Hydro One
Bob Macadoo replied to Topaz's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
I'm not fer or again' her. I will logically poo-poo any policy points made by any knee-jerk gov't. Here's what happens when you let social engineers believe the market will save us......two worlds annihilate.......us. -

I bet I can find a TFW willing to do your job just as well for less.....is that irrevelant too? -
The argument against that though is has been quoted in other places median income has not risen......inflation be damned, so why should the Sunshine list threshold grow. To be fair....the list threshold should grow as median income grows.

I too am concerned but this can easily be remedied with legislation....bringing them under the umbrella. In addition they get to wash their hands of direct responsibility....."You're right Ombudsman....that 'private' corp. is bad.....go get'em." -
They're not requesting evidence of the religion......only the manner of belief which is perfectly acceptable and far from arbitrary. This is something tangible for the court to evaluate. Freedom of religion is defended by the SC as such they must be able evaluate that envelope.

Umm...that's not how collective bargaining works. Everyone has had a beef with every government since Rae Days......why are teachers supposed to be smiles? -

I can agree with this statement.....they are. They behave like any business.....they aren't treated in the media like any other business though. Good and bad. -
They are mandated carriage over the infrastructure we helped build........are competitors mandated use of rail cars.....terminals?

It won't matter how many freezes they lay low for.......everytime the same people will say they are overpaid......they've been on a wage freeze and no one has recognized that. -
Low Loonie Squeezing Canadian Snowbirds
Bob Macadoo replied to bush_cheney2004's topic in Business and Economy
Uh-oh.....look's like no bites on this troll thread.....just reasoned discussion....Did you think Snowbirds only showed up post-08? Old people and cold weather don't mix no matter the price point. -

That's not why....as that will raise shyte......all they have to do is say they have X, Y, & Z capital projects that need to be paid off......and the OEB has no choice but to agree. You just financed Bruce Power being able to refurbish its reactors and you didn't even know. -
It doesn't matter what social consensus is at this point in time.......freedom decisions should never be subject to mob whim. Evidentary process has nothing to do arbitrary......it is an objective test of a proclamation.........

Society doesn't decide which are valid religions....and really neither do the courts......the believer does.......the courts test the validity of that belief through evidence showing said belief. If a numbnuts could show, with evidence (ie. doctrine texts, places of worship, ceremony, etc.), that swastikas and brownshirts were religious garb, the court would rule the same. If he showed up with his say so only that the flying spaghetti monster told him so.....the court would tell him to go fly a kite.
