    There are several posters here who oppose the bill and aren't scared CSIS are monitoring for me to say XL + protest so they haul me away. We actually have substantive arguments as to the details with the bill.....and the lack of thoroughness that we've come to expect. It's just lazily easy to pick out the "slope-heads" to debate.

    They are not separate issues if there is insufficient oversight to ensure bureaucratic incompetence doesn't creep in.....which it will.......I'm sure the FBI/CIA thought they were competent.

    Correct.So the fact is this individual chooses to wear it and the opinion is your view on the matter. My beer goggles weren't on. My opinion could be I think limey squatters can't wear Sunderland jerseys to their citizenship ceremonies as it represents bad decision making......however I don't expect that to happen.

    If you believe the imminent threat is real someone will get killed b/c of this bill. You now allow CSIS to perform clandestine operations on domestic soil. This was previously the purview of RCMP. Left hand doesn't and doesn't have to know what the right ass cheek knows or does. Can anyone say 9/11 since everyon likes to go to the bogeyman scenarios?These 2 jurisdictions will be in a constant sword fight and we'll lose b/c of it. If anything happens that is lost in oversight each will say they thought the other guy had it.

    This just like the OPP thread. I'm not a cheerleader for big business but did you not expect a gov't sugar-daddied monopoly to not have a sweetheart contract that paid them for getting up in the morning? We are the province of sole source / overpaying.

    Nope. Liberal deficit did. Sell the sitting room furniture and hope you don't have to dig into the living room.They need quick money and franchise fees are easy money. Only problem is how do you convince the other franchisees that the big franchisee, in direct competition with you ships the goods to you too. Not an agreeable business model.

    Well this was the expected part.....union executive termination. I'd like to know what the rest of the Board got to see. Who's trust? Not public trust. I still don't see the felony yet. The word fraud has now been used. Would like to see some detail to that.

    He could've easily made his speech without any such references....yet looking at his audience he thought it would play....whether it was in his heart or not. This joker got elected b/c of his party....not him. A blue monkey could get elected. (I grew up in this riding). The previous rep was dying of cancer yet he still ran and won. If he gets the nomination.....he could say BROWNIE til the cows come home and he'll be elected.
