  1. Who was it who said: "The reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated." It must have been a member of the New Democrats. Actually it was Bob Hope, but, what the heck, close enough.
  2. This is absolutely fabulous news for Jack Layton and the New Democrats.
  3. As you will see below, the order of the columns have been switched between the Liberals and the Conservatives, showing the Conservatives first, to reflect their position in the polls. 8. Harper linked to notorious Yankee, uh, crumpler Humm......
  9. Oh, here it is. Former Tories throw support behind McLellan
  10. In Alberta. Anybody hear any details about it?
  11. Conservatives are their own worst enemy
  12. Tories hide true agenda, Martin's officials insist
  13. It is interesting to see Belinda Stronach distance herself from Harper. Harper needs to be very careful on these issues, as Belinda's campaign for the leadership is probably the one overriding factor that that has given the Conservatives credibility in Ontario. Harper seems concerned enough about it that he is going to her riding for a hastily arranged meeting tonight.
  14. Belinda bares beliefs Another fire to put out for Harper. Are these issues starting to spin out of control for the Conservatives?
  15. Harper's half-baked proposal Is there a pattern developing here?
  16. Two top court seats at stake Which party is going to jump on this one?
  17. Liberal riding assoc. throws support behind NDP Mr Democratic Deficit must rue the day the Liberals ever began using that expression.
  18. The problem is that Harper is allowing it to become an issue by the way he is dealing with it. Too bad.
  19. Abortion issue takes centre stage in campaign This could be the issue that trips up the Conservatives so you can expect the Liberals to milk it for all it is worth. Sure looks like they will give it a good shot.
  20. I think you will find that the abortion issue is only going to grow in intensity. And the reason for it is that Canadians want real clarity on the issue. Until they get it you can expect the heat to increase substantially.
  21. slavik44.......Liberals in recent history have alternated between francophones and anglophones. I think Pierre Pettigrew stands a good chance. Forget people like Manley - he's an anglo, no charisma, just like Martin.
  22. Palace revolt simmers against PM I'll go with the latter point of view.
  23. Liberal riding assoc. throws support behind NDP It sure looks like the wheels are coming off the Liberal bus.
