i would not lean on The Heritage Foundation for scientific evidence. having said that, a simple google provides quite a bit of evidence that "conservatives" are happier than "liberals". Why are conservatives happier than liberals? although this multi study review didn't really provide a reason to write home about: " In our third study, we found that increasing economic inequality (as measured by the Gini index) from 1974 to 2004 has exacerbated the happiness gap between liberals and conservatives, apparently because conservatives (more than liberals) possess an ideological buffer against the negative hedonic effects of economic inequality." ie. conservatives lean on their ideology to sooth their being more and more poor over time.

gee, everything i can look up about the "texas military" has "national guard" in the name. and Abbot himself appears to know that he's not in full control of the national guard. Abbott: Texas prepared in ‘unlikely event’ Biden federalizes National Guard (note Abbott does not mention how he is prepared) so i think this is more internet dream theatre.

simple question... the GOP are about wrap up a border deal that improves the situation in favour of what the GOP want. but Trump is trashing. why? it makes no sense. the GOP can rack this up as a win and claim that further GOP power in 2024 will push more in that direction. why? another question that Trump supporters can't answer! why are there so many of these? don't worry... not holding my breath while waiting for a response. i'm calling it. i believe its also tied to Ukraine. the GOP senate will now try to extract Ukraine from the border (you know, the number one threat to national security). and Trump will feverishly attempt to prevent it. yet another question for Trump supporters! why does Trump want Putin to have Ukraine?

at one of the ends where there are very small populations... and thus there are very few Hitlers in history. this is pretty traditional sociology... that people with extreme views are in the minority.
