  1. sorry, if i had been able to find the 100% sarcasm emoji, i would have used it. but in all seriousness, if people want parlor back then thats whats going to have to happen.
  2. bias needs to be removed from the media. Republicans should back a new FCC Fairness Doctrine that Regan got rid of. hang on... that would mean that Fox news would have to give equal time to Democrat viewpoints? not sure they want that! while they're at it they should include that private businesses should not restrict their services to people planning illegal activities including murder, insurrection, drug dealing... whatever. free speech!
  3. Trump, the big deal maker! not. guess he waited too long? he wanted China and fire breathing dragons included. so everyone was left scratching their heads i guess. typical of Trump because he always figured that if the other side wasn't going to give him everything then theres no deal. no clue of international diplomacy. Biden gets it done.
  4. From Fox News Least corrupt nations worldwide produce best COVID-19 response, says anti-graft watchdog study "This year’s index showed the United States hitting a new low amid a steady decline under the presidency of Donald Trump, with a score of 67 on a scale where 0 is "highly corrupt" and 100 is "very clean." That still put the U.S. 25th on the list in a tie with Chile, but behind many other Western democracies. It dropped from scores of 69 in 2019, 71 in 2018 and 75 in 2017, and was down to the lowest level since figures for comparison have been available."
  5. winning! Biden gets nuclear arms treaty resigned with russia. the one that Trump couldn't get russia to sign. guess we know now that Putin knows Biden isn't going to be his lap dog. Putin signs extension of last Russia-U.S. nuclear arms treaty
  6. no, he just watched from a television screen while his "patriots" stormed the capitol. nothing to see here! he tried to pressure state AG's to fix it. then state governors. then the senate. then the vice president. nothing to see here! didn't happen! hahaha! real history. on video and audio tape.
  7. or a movie where a disease gets introduced that is particularly deadly for seniors and then political leaders attempt to convince the public that its nothing to be afraid of and no worse than the flu and news outlets promoting herd immunity... wait a minute... didn't that just happen?
  8. yeah, can't have social justice can we. horrible. lets hear it for social injustice! viva la social injustice! haahha!
  9. well, its better than "this is the best president ever, trust me. you don't need to know anything else".
  10. well you're welcome to your opinion. but Obama wasn't a tyrant attempting to subvert democracy and install the Trump family as a ruling autocracy. i've well publicized on this forum that i think Trump is an idiot and not that smart but i never really cared much either way. but once he started subverting the senate by using temporary administration officials and refusing to allow those officials to supply information to a duly elected congress, then he needs to go. the government is the peoples business, its not owned by politicians. its like if i hired a manager for one of my businesses and he started hiring his own cronies, telling me everything was going great, but never letting me see the books. out. nothing else matters.
  11. but i'd also point out that this is the "was the election hacked?" thread and not the "whining about the muller investigation" thread. all of those election court cases only required ONE person with verifiable evidence to stand in front of a judge and say it. ONE. didn't happen. ONE.
  12. i stand corrected on McCabe. i'd forgotten about activities that he disputes and has never been charged with but was fired for all the same and possibly more. man, i get what you're saying... but previous presidents have been hung out to dry for far less than being associated with felons and not calling them out. way worse. Trump is off the charts. that will hang over him. no one needs to watch tv or read the paper to think that. thats life. and people were sent to jail. period. you bring up "white collar crime" Manafort. still a felon. Roger lied and attempted to coerce witnesses. felon. Flynn admitted guilt. nobody admits guilt who is not guilty. felon. Cohen, Papadopoulos, Pinedo, van der Zwaan, Gates... tried by a jury of their piers in a country of laws. felons. you seem to lean on the liberal concept of just punishment. trump wasn't impeached given the muller investigation. so nothing to worry about except some bad perception, right? not worth so much whining.
  13. ONE guy was caught buffing up evidence that would lead to the yet another FISA warrant on Carter Page. "Charging documents filed Friday say Clinesmith altered an email he received in June 2017 from another government agency to say that Page was “not a source” for that agency, then forwarded it along to a colleague. The document does not say which agency, but Page has publicly said that he had worked as a source for the CIA." Former FBI lawyer pleads guilty to altering document during Russia probe note... ONE guy. McCabe was fired without reason. Its true that Trump will never be fully exonerated but not for the reasons you list. He will never be exonerated because he was not forthcoming and entirely unable to call out any of the 34 individuals and 3 Russian businesses entities that were indicted. In fact, he did everything he could to foil those indictments and deny the facts that were provided. keep in mind, a number of those individuals went to jail based on the preponderance of truth decided on by a jury of their peers. Trump was not found guilty of anything. but yeah, doesn't look good for him. 34 individuals indicted... not a "witch hunt".
  14. omg... tell me, how many children do you know got chickenpox this year? mumps? measles? polio? or are those the "good vaccines"? or did those diseases just die off on their own without human intervention? just curious. 2.1 million people have died from covid. do the math. i'll take the chance for you. i'll be the one participating in herd immunity that may save your life. ok?
  15. except that... they didn't "cancel" anything. they delayed for review. if they end up not going forward with something similar in the near future then you can come back and claim your were correct.
  16. well, i applaud you for providing a definition of the word for the sake of this conversation. as most people who use dog whistle words can't and its impossible to have a rational conversation without agreement on the meaning of words. i'm curious how the "Dems" do these things then? namely: how do they have "absolute control" over the media? i agree that media is biased but there appears as much bias at Fox News as any other. how do they use the FBI & CIA? during the Trump administration, the president had full control of those branches of government. he could have fired everyone. did he fail there? do you have proof that the democratic party is in some way controlling BLM? when you talk about racial characteristics are you talking about white nationalists? who have they thrown in jail for "crossing the party"? feel free to cite as necessary your claims (Fox "opionion" hosts don't count). and i'll just keep the "traditional" meaning of the word fascist, thank you. since, if its going to mean something different to everyone then its going to be impossible to hold any kind of conversation at all.
  17. if it happened then they were able to hide this mass fraud from the most powerful intelligence apparatus on the planet. if the democrats are that smart then i'd suggest becoming a democrat! and i love the old "witch hunt" dog whistle! ALL police work is a "witch hunt". the problem is that criminals don't simply march into police stations and admit their gilt!
  18. Trump waited 18 months before assigning the job to a meteorologist... apparently he didn't do a very good job. but thats from the American Association for the Advancement of Science. ‘Very disappointed.’ Trump’s science adviser has left U.S. researchers wanting more
  19. what do you mean by "liberal? do you mean: "Liberalism is a political and moral philosophy based on liberty, consent of the governed and equality before the law.[1][2][3] Liberals espouse a wide array of views depending on their understanding of these principles, but they generally support free markets, free trade, limited government, individual rights (including civil rights and human rights), capitalism, democracy, secularism, gender equality, racial equality, internationalism, freedom of speech, freedom of the press and freedom of religion." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberalism
  20. funny that you pull the first paragraph from the WP... but refrain from continuing with the details of the article. “On January 14, 2021, HHS announced forthcoming Practice Guidelines for the Administration of Buprenorphine for Treating Opioid Use Disorder,” the White House’s drug policy office said in a message obtained by The Washington Post. “Unfortunately, the announcement was made prematurely. Therefore, the Guidelines previously announced cannot be issued at this time.” The Biden administration also vowed to continue working to “increase access to buprenorphine, reduce overdose rates and save lives” in the announcement, which was also posted on the website of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. The Trump administration’s plan was plagued by legal and operational problems, including a failure to get necessary clearance from the White House budget office, said two officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss it. “The Biden-Harris administration absolutely supports broader access to medication-based treatment for opioid use disorder, and is working to find ways to lift burdensome restrictions on medications for opioid use disorder treatment,” said a spokesperson for the White House’s drug policy office. so, could be they just pulled to repackage as their own. or maybe it needs more work. more detail would be required before making such a judgement.
  21. just pointing out that your views are based on beliefs and not facts. so rational discussion with you is pointless, particularly since one who argues on beliefs are able to change the state of those beliefs freely as necessary to support their commentary.
  22. the difference is that Mackey was specifically instructing people in order to make them think they voted, when they did not. which is against the law. Twitter was not instructing people. it could be argued that they were being biased in the information that they provided. which is not against the law. but hey, blame Regan as he appointed the commissioners who trashed the FCC Fairness Doctrine. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FCC_fairness_doctrine
  23. how did he cheat? provide evidence that has been verified by a court of law from a nation of laws.
  24. this has been discussed... the Biden administration has frozen ALL last minute Trump regulations for review. it was not targeted and would be impossible to do so. this is regular management of any organization.
