  1. and i guess that general lack of humanity is the mindset of the far right. from a far they're able to make such statements and go on with their day while their government pulverizes children. but i'm a firm believer that even you CdnFox... when confronted with one of these real children, not some imaginary one, would think twice. if you actually interacted with one of them... their only interest being to run and play, to ride their bikes, to laugh with their friends, the things you used to do when you were a child. i'd suspect that if you were in contact with any of them you would say "not this one". you meant the others. the ones who don't have a face. those ones are easy not to care about. the reality is that a very small number of people change the world. those people are responsible for the good stuff and the bad stuff. the rest just want to lead a normal life with just what they need.
  2. nobody is "solely" responsible for this. the US has a large immigration population and those people are sympathetic to the immigrant plight. the situation has not been improving economically or politically in the south. i myself am appalled that there is no discussion in the US about what to do about that... about preventing the conditions that make people need to leave where they are from. additionally, a large segment of the population do not want people dying crossing the border. these are the people you need to be convincing that there is a better way. replacing Biden doesn't make any of that go away. you can treat immigrants as harshly as you like. separate children indefinitely from their families for example. if you think thats the thing to do then you need to convince your neighbour its a good thing. or that its necessary. but if you look like an uncaring ahole then... you might not care. but it gets you nowhere. moving forward does not happen.
  3. they have a lot in common as far as personality. extreme narcissism for one. unmitigated desire for power over others. violent reactions to criticism. these people are born dictators. they're fine to be roaming around society, they're everywhere... but you don't want them having a finger on the button.
  4. its always a good day when people are able to see through their mental models that clouded by ideology and see a little truth.
  5. yes you do. and you need make arguments of why those were good things and how they could be perpetuated. and you need to be nicer to people.
  6. especially once all of those children are dismembered. right?
  7. Trump is very selective about the dictators he likes. some... he doesn't like: 2017 Shayrat missile strike Death of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi Assassination of Qasem Soleimani its just something his base can't answer. because they let others think for them (like the extreme left). when Fox told them that Iraq had to be invaded then they yelled it at the top of their lungs. now they talk about "forever wars" but in a selective fashion. the wars that Trump wants are not "forever wars". Putin needs a bullet in the head because he is a dictator. end of story. all dictators are bad news. this is a historical axiom that Trump wants to convince his followers is not true. because he is one. and the extreme right are ok with that.
  8. Crenshaw on Stefanik’s claim she could decertify election if VP: ‘Totally wrong’ Crenshaw told CNN’s Dana Bash Friday. “The Constitution gives you no power — you, being the vice president — gives you no power to decertify the election. It’s very clear.” actually i find Crenshaw interesting in general, because he doesn't tow the lies. and yet Trump has not gone after him. he is someone that Trump fears. GOP Congressman Dan Crenshaw says election deniers know they’re lying
  9. certain facts that Trump supporters can't answer... are silent. unless they just make some sweeping whataboutism or slag.
  10. crickets? hahaha! Trump supporters got nothin?
  11. no cites. no break down of logic. just name calling. you and @Delugeional are a lovely pair on this board.
  12. because the US is becoming brown? jesus was brown you know.
  13. i agree. so give the president the authority to do so now? the senate GOP has stated that Dems will have no desire to take this up after 2024. if Trump saddles the Dems with this now then they will saddle it with him later. which kinda proves a point. that Trump doesn't care about that calculus. he just needs to get in office to cool his legal problems. he's already stated that thats why he is running. he did so at his running announcement.
  14. haha! thanks, i've corrected my post... not sure why i get Latvia and Moldova always mixed up. if i'm so afraid of shadows... then please tell us how lovely Russia taking Ukraine will be! will it be ice cream for everyone!? pretty sure whatever the "shadows" are... its bad.
  15. Stefanik says she ‘would not have done what Mike Pence did’ on Jan. 6 yeah, i know Stefanik is only interviewing for the VP gig. begging always helps one with Trump. but the GOP need to attract moderates and independents! this is not helping!
  16. well, do tell what happens when Ukraine is taken by Russia. show your international security knowledge. this is what will happen: tens of millions of Ukrainian refugees will flood Europe and our allies will be yet again pushing for us to take them in. and we will because if EU economy starts to tank under the pressure then so will ours. Russia will take advantage of momentum and storm Moldova where they already have a supported insurgent force the stock market will take an immediate beating. global food prices will spike great swaths of death will occur in the Ukraine as Putin takes care of "nazis" a decades long guerrilla war will commence with supplies and manpower passing through NATO countries. Russia will expand military influence into border areas of NATO countries to address NATO/Russian tensions will boil a new arms race/buildup will commence and in the meantime, China takes Taiwan and does whatever it likes autocrats winning you're stated that you are heartless and have no compassion for your fellow man. but this has clear implications for western society.
  17. i would love that... as obviously i'm not an Unkindly Duffus Donald Trump fan. if Michelle Obama jumped in it wouldn't even be close. she would crush it. or Oprah! hahahaha! The Republican Fantasy that Democrats Will Replace Joe Biden
  18. which congress needs to fund. and hasn't been funded sufficiently to hold the necessary people coming across since 1996. read the cites that get provided please.
  19. maybe you should learn more about "stay in Mexico". like 1) Mexico says no 2) Biden knew that the policy was a loser in the courts... and had been a loser in the courts up until the time that they pulled it down. Even Trump wouldn't have made it stick. Remain in Mexico more proof... none of the GOP bring it up as a solution.
  20. gee, no need to call me names. the poor uneducated rural vote has captured the GOP. i didn't say those who are rich and educated aren't also conservative. they should be... its in their best interest. but its not in the best interest of the poor uneducated. there are no good jobs coming to them from the traditional GOP. and MAGA might be eating the traditional GOP. as i stated in the OP. if you are rich then you vote with the business class. if you're poor and you vote with the business class then you're a sucker. and the business class will use whatever social hot button ruse (LGTBQ grooming, replacement theory etc etc) to convince them that the country is going to hell. when its not. it continues to hum along just like the business class wants... with the rich getting richer and the poor getting more poor. wealth inequity is off the charts in the US. it creates a ruling class. the US supreme court did not stop dark money from financing politics. its all pay to play. but again, MAGA may be changing the rules and eating the GOP.
  21. i find the GOP civil war absolutely fascinating. MAGA is eating the GOP. the Tea Party was a real grass roots movement. and it was a movement run by the rural poor. and it happened in red states. i'll never forget laughing at the tv screen watching traditional GOP types attempt to assume the Tea Party. they would regurgitate Tea Party slogans and then conveniently add on traditional GOP "national security", "energy security" globalist, pro business rhetoric. from the beginning the pro business globalist GOP has been trying to blame the lost american dream on Democrats. on the "woke". Trump used the Tea Party energy to create MAGA. when MAGA starts hunting "globalists" and "forever wars" then traditional GOP suddenly start denouncing everything they were doing during the Bush years. starts denouncing free trade! all of which they instigated! Trump is attempting to contain things. but not much. mumbling "drill drill drill" or saying "the country needs to be strong" is his meagre attempt at propping up the military industrial complex and big oil. saying that maybe anheuser busch should "get another chance" is his attempt to appease the powerful business class. but its failing. MAGA is eating the GOP. evidence of that is whats happening to good old Mitch Mcconnell. yeah, he's never been beholden to Trump and Trumps personality can't take that... but Mitch is the old globalist forever war guard! Kentucky's largest business is defence. and MAGA has eaten him. who will replace him? some peace loving isolationist? so i'm really curious how Trump manages this. i think as much as pro business love his pro business policies they see that he unable to control MAGA's attacks on traditional GOP "values" (trickle down economics, no end to federal debt if its going into private hands etc). are the business elites going to try to take the GOP back? where is all that giant corporate campaign money going to go?!
