  1. Rue, I'll say it again - you certainly are a piece of work! Can you manage to get my name right? Or just needed to insult again? uh...yah. Anyhow, you say that any Muslim bent on destruction of Israel wouldn't take money from Israel to further their desires? How silly - of course they would and they would laugh all the way to the bank! Ha! Have you never heard of false flag ops? Or the term 'Patsies'?? How about the Lavon Affair? Now, can you debate in a nice way? Without all the dripping oils of sarcasm and rude remarks? I doubt somehow. Can you be brief and not contradict yourself wrt both Funding and Support as well as the obvious mistake which was made concerning your 'so-called' Hamas website? No? Okay then - never mind and see ya.
  2. What the heck - Economic Left/Right: - 5.38 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: - 5.68 Last time I took this I was about -4 on each. Seems I'm drifting...but in a good way!
  3. I wouldn't hold my breath Kuzadd - as what he says cannot be backed up whatsoever. It's pretty clear that no matter how awful it was under Hussien - things are far worse under the Americans/Brits. Also, the abuses at Abu Graib, Gitmo and the countless 'secret rendition' spots scattered in the winds all over the world certainly do not speak well of the US Admin. Did you read Layla Anwars recent piece? http://www.uruknet.info/?p=m32211&hd=&size=1&l=e He can't uphold his statement - there are NO facts to back him up. *sigh*
  4. Since the majority of your above post is simply BS... I will address this 'chosen part': " if you ever do meet a Jew here's a hint, just say hello the feigned waspy liberalism is so insincere it causes my circumsized skin to grow back. " ROFLMFAO!!! hahahahahhahahahah Man you are the type of Jew who the rest a bad name!! Would ya like to know how many of my own family perished in Auschwitz? Man are you a piece of work! do ya got giyus hooked up and running on your puter?! EEEKS !! LOL LOL FROLFFLMFAO Shalom..
  5. I don't think anyone actually did that here. Though while we are on the subject - certainly she does! And not just in Israel. Get real. In fact she was just recently cought arming and training death squands in Columbia: Here is the ynet article. for some reason I can't access Haaretz (been having trouble the last couple of days on and off - I wonder why?). Anyhows - Israel is no better or worse than any other military power, she has here whereforall and could be an example - too bad she chooses to piss everyone in the nieghbourhood off eh? Bed's been made. Very sad - but by no means does that in any way represent all Jews worldwide. Just as the actions of the American/Canadian etc Admins represents all of their inhabitants. But go ahead and keep contradicting yourself, it's entertaining to watch!
  6. Hello Rue, Do you really need to write a book with all your responses? Also, I haven't stated that Israel has funded Hamas in it's terrorist agenda - only that he onset of Hamas was certainly supported by the Israeli Admin. Really, get over yourself! Oh and the insults say far more about you than they do me. Have any more 'Hamas' funded websites to show us? Ha! You are clearly one who believes that Israel can do no wrong. I think it is time that all realize, both Jews and Non-Jews alike, that Israel can do wrong - just as any other country. Illegal occupations, stealing land, violating human rights is not solely the dominion of others - Israel does her fair part as well. Just because a person doesn't agree with one side doesn't mean she or he advocates use of terror by the others - this cuts both ways. Okay, nuf said to you. It is clear you are blind to the atrocities which Israel commits daily. Happily, many of your countrymen and fellow Jews aren't. http://www.btselem.org/English/ Great folks there - read a bit perhaps it will enlighten you. Shalom, Buffster
  7. I gotta say that some of the responses here are mind-boggling! If 'democracy' were truly the intent - then why was Saddam ever supported in the first place? LOL As far as ridding the country of Saddam - why? WMD? None of them! Ties to Al Queda? Nope, none of that either. Relation to 911? Notta! Zilch! Oil? yepper! Saddam knew a little too much about the nasty way the US and her cronies conduct their business? Yepper again! (No wonder they had to hang the bugger!). Anyways - carry on!
  8. From wiki: Read under 'Funding'. Though as stated, wiki is often filled with errors. Here's another article from American Conservative: "http://www.amconmag.com/2007/2007_02_12/article4.html" But there is something bitterly ironic in Israel’s support for Fatah against Hamas—and it should be a lesson to governments everywhere that meddle in other states’ affairs. In the past, Israel supported Hamas against Fatah. Indeed, in the 1970s and 80s, Israel played a not insignificant role in encouraging Hamas’s emergence in the belief that such an Islamist group might help rupture support for the mass nationalist movement of Fatah. Twenty years later, Israel has switched sides, hoping that it can encourage Fatah to see off Hamas. It wants “moderate” Palestinians to take on the “extremist” Palestinians it helped create. Like America and Britain before it—both of whom have supported and armed Islamist movements in the Middle East in attempts to undermine secular nationalist parties—Israel is learning the hard way that it is one thing to let radical Islamists off the leash but quite another thing to rein them back in again. If you make monsters, you shouldn’t be surprised if they come back to bite you. *snip* More: http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/context...ilitancy_202701 "Following the Six Day War, Israel takes over the administration of the West Bank and Gaza. Whereas Egyptian President Gamal Abddul Nasser had been tough on Islamist militants (see 1954 - 1970), Israel is much more permissive. One of their first actions is to release Sheikh Ahmed Yassin from prison. Yassin, a charismatic radical Islamist and the future founder of Hamas had been jailed in 1965 during one of Nasser’s crackdowns. [Dreyfuss, 2005, pp. 195] David Shipler, a former New York Times reporter, later recounts that he was told by the military governor of the Gaza Strip, Brigadier General Yitzhak Segev, that the Israeli government had financed the Islamic movement to couteract the PLO and the communists.According to Martha Kessler, a senior analyst for the CIA, “we saw Israel cultivate Islam as a counterweight to Palestinian nationalism.” Yassin will later form Hamas as the military arm of his organizations (see 1987). [Dreyfuss, 2005, pp. 195, 197, 198]" *snip* There are others, it's pretty common knowledge - sort of the like the funding of the Mujahideen by Western sources during the Russians' ill fated attempt to pacify Afghanistan. The sad thing is that Israel claims she never has anyone to talk to wrt peace - the truth of the matter is she always has - she just hasn't liked what she heard, nor does she want to give up the stolen lands of the illegal settlements - thus rendering impossible any kind of realistic state for the Palestinian people. It takes two to tango.
  9. Good grief do any of you actually know how to read? It is war, of course the 'enemy' does it - though it's THEIR country! And the war was based on lies. That is most certainly confirmed - really I'm not making this up. Do you dudes really think that this has made the 'West' safer? LMFAO if you do - though I've got a feeling that what we have in the above responses is a den of trolls - so be it. Let's list the ways in which the Iraqi peoples are better off now: - - - ????? Can't think of too many. And DOP - you are really scraping the bottom of the barrel eh? Insults again, no reasoning - keep it up! Woof.
  10. I am posting this for those on this board who seem to think that the Iraq war has been a great and wonderful thing for Iraqis. It makes not an iota of difference whether it is the Brits or the Yanks doing the torture - as neither of them belong there in the first place. I have to say, well done to the Guardian to show the results of 'the West's' efforts: Guardian images He is but one of many - sadly. Yeah, I suppose that is war - but when the 'war' is based on lies and fabrications - what then? What kind of torn feelings do the troops have? Many of them know - many also don't want to be there - since it has become clear that none it has anything to do with 'democracy' or 'freedom'. Terrible.
  11. figleaf - Rue is full of it. His site is not hamas, he is muddying the waters - I imagine that is his purpose here. I would also add that he can't read well, since it was I who mentioned that Hamas was originally funded and backed by the Israeli Admin to counter the PLO. This is simple historical fact - but oh no, Rue and his kind will have no part in any negative towards the one and only pure as driven snow state: Israel. *cough* Anyway, anyone can simply google it and look it all up for themselves. Or they can go to a library and peek at the records - it's there. Do it soon though, since history is being re-written daily. Oh - and why bother even arguing with ScottSSA? The guy is a troll - he never has anything worthwhile to say - just slurs and insults! Has he no idea how much his posts betray him? *ack* Oh, yeah and even wiki (whom I don't usually cite - but so many on the extremist west do) states that originally Hamas was funded by Israel: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamas Sort of like how now, both the US and Israel (is there any difference?!) are okay with arming Fatah! Divide and conquer!
  12. Giving the legitimate hunting enthusiast the capability to murder.... Is this the way you wanted to word it? It is not the legitimate hunting enthusiast that is to blame here. An unstable mind with a gun in hand is the issue. I agree with AndrewL on this matter. Also remember prohobition of alcohol back in the early part of the 20th century? Did that stop it? No. Did people still drink? Yes. Will the same results happen for prohobition on guns? 100% yes. Practice gun saftey, and practice, and practice. Stable minds don't go shooting others. First off, this is a tragedy no matter how one views it. That said, I would also agree with Andrew and Gosthacked. I have not one problem with a well armed citizenry. IMO it is a liberty and right to defend oneself. I'm not going to play the what if game - though it does make one wonder sometimes. This guy though, obviously had some serious mental issues, as members of any society will have. The gungrabbers will love this let's see the spin.
  13. So remind me Kuzadd - why are our children dying? Oh... nevermind - oil (= current power). I do though in all seriousness see where this will end up as not so good for the US and her counterparts. Afterall, I imagine the rest of the world is getting sick of being 'screwed over'. Not to mention that India, being a nuclear power and wanting to maintain such a pipeline would not be too happy about the US wanting to take out Iran (though I think we know who the REAL driving force is there!). Perhaps in light of all the above we should add India and Pakistan to the list of countries who would be ticked off if Iran were harmed.
  14. I think some folks here should really take a short biology course and focus on the importance of insect pollination of plants, not only for agribusiness, but also for ecological sustainability. Afterall we do depend on this planet. For those who are either lazy or incompetent here is a google link for insect pollination: Google results
  15. Thank goodness for that. Though, I gotta say, that the site you refer to still has Israel occupying Gaza. It has an interesting map which calls the illegal settlements 'built up areas'. http://www.palestinefacts.org/images/map_gaza_strip_1999.jpg What about these maps? From B'TSelem, a wonderful group of folk btw: http://www.btselem.org/English/Maps/Index.asp I sincerely doubt that the link you supplied is a "Hamas" website. BTW - Hamas grew out of many things, initially her seed was watered well by Israel - this cannot be denied. There are many Israelis and Jews throughout the world who do not agree with many of the actions of her particular Administrations - read the Jewish newspapers and weeklys etc.! Just as there are many Canadians, Americans and all other 'Westerners' who also don't agree with the actions of their own governing bodies. You are spreading an 'Israel is without fault spin' and sadly she - just as the US, UK and Canada have all shown that we do have fault. Faults as in supporting and encouraging division and conflict in other regions of the world, in which we have no business to be in. Let alone - tell these other folks how and what to think, how to run their lives and THIER country. It really isn't any of our business. BTW - don't hand me the line of 'Oh these countries don't allow any rights for women. It doesn't wash - heck - it isn't even 100 years since women had rights here either! These things will come - and probably already would have if it were not for the interference of the 'west'. I would also add that the West is certainly not in any postition to offer the 'moral high ground'. As for Israel she should ask herself why she can't seem to get along with her nieghbours. The victim card is wearng thin (probably from overuse). Which is bad allround.
  16. Man DOP, that was pretty lame - you had to play the Holocaust card cuz ya had nothing else to say! LOL how little you change - or learn. We are talking here about funding of covert operations within foreign countries - specifically Iran. I believe the subject matter has to with the overthrow of their democratically elected president Mossadeq in 1953 by covert actions under both British, US and Saudi rule. But of course, let's not stay on topic - it's much easier to smear others!! Way to go puppy Dog! woof
  17. This board doesn't have a rolling eye function eh? Hamas was certainly funded and encouraged in its early years by the Israeli Admin. This is a given Scribbles. As usual hit and run... no substance.. more props. Whatever... yawn - you guys learn nothing new do you? Must be great to hate.
  18. Perhaps you havn't read the rules about personal attacks. Hi scribbles... I see you don't change your stripes either... have anything to say about GM foods? Anything perhaps to add? Are you for it or against it? If you are for it - under what 'so-called' criteria? No? Nothing to say other than your usual? Hee
  19. As usual, neither of you want to discuss a topic. Prisoner treatment. It is quite clear in the case of the British soldiers that they were quite well treated in comparison to the way the US UK have treated captured persons. But of course both DOP (finally showing his true colours - with a threat too! ohhh scary!) and scribblet resort to silly ridiculous remarks! Well done! Your gate is well guarded Doggie.
  20. Too bad they didn't juxtapose Nick Berg's prisonerhood with Abu Griab. Gawd...how some people hate their own side so much that they'll play propaganda films by the other side, even knowing full well that they're nonsense. It's stunning to me that people who live in the very best society in the world can be so spoiled that they turn on it in the name of some non-existent notion of social "justice". Congratulations Doggie! You can cut and paste! Try googling prisoner treatment in the West, the US especially and you won't find any different doggie. I see a gate that needs keeping...
  21. Hi Higgly, Hamas was orginally funded by the Israeli Admin as a counter to Arafat's PLO. Divide and conquer.
  22. Which Shah? Mossadeq said no to BP. He wanted to nationalize the country's resources (a big NO-NO in the days of early and present psuedofacist capitalism - hee) hence he needed to be taken out. Pretty simple - install a puppet no matter how ruthless he is! Actually the more ruthless the better, that way any kind of dissent if stifled immediately. Now, I am certainly not advocating the current regime of Mullahs - or am I a big fan of Ahmedinejad - however I certainly haven't seen them attacking anyone lately, or destroying other's infrastructures and decimating entire populations (whether outright or by habitat destruction). Anyways.. carry on DOP - your gate needs guarding.
  23. wrt a certain poster's utter ignorance of how food crops are pollinated: Farmers will hire beekeepers to keep hives near their lands to increase their crops (especially oilseed, since one wants the highest fertilisation rate one can achieve - more seeds = more oils). Think rapeseed - or as it is presently known 'canola', most of which in Canada is GM. Oh the dude who thought that since pterodactyls died off what difference does it make - well, angiosperms didn't exist at that time and overall your statement contributes nothing of value. (I'll wait for him to look that big word up) Lastly - I don't think the false left/right paradigm really applies in this discussion - though I don't think many on this board really wish for true discussion - just who can say the most inane sarcastic and meaningless thing. Oh well - go have your lattes.
  24. Perhaps global warming caused GM foods. No, wait...perhaps GM foods caused Global Warming? Do you have a functioning neuron...? From reading your posts it is really hard to tell.
