Me too - I haven't posted anything other than one clarification after another to the imputers on this thread. Just look at the opinions on this forum and compare it to opinion polls in Canada - their numbers here are over-represented to the public at large. That can mean only one thing - you and I are not alone in not wanting to put up with their bullying ways. Hopefully Charles Anthony will take the complaints more seriously. " their numbers here are over-represented to the public at large. " do you mean the racist, white-supremist, fascist, religious fanatics???? I would agree they are greatly over-represented here. I saw a new term this week , coined the '“Christian-Industrial Complex.” There is a rather large contingent present here. "Hopefully Charles Anthony will take the complaints more seriously." given the content of this forum, ongoing......not-likely.

I like it! It's funny. It reminds me of the posters who sit around on this forum and spout the, my religion is better then everyone else's attitude. Guess what , according to his holiness. All other christian religions are really "ecclesial communities" and there ministers phonies. In essence, it's the same crap as here, and it's humourous to see the finger pointed in that direction!

Dismay and anger as Pope declares Protestants cannot have churches http://www.guardian.co.uk/pope/story/0,,2123195,00.html Protestant churches yesterday reacted with dismay to a new declaration approved by Pope Benedict XVI insisting they were mere "ecclesial communities" and their ministers effectively phonies with no right to give communion. Coming just four days after the reinstatement of the Latin mass, yesterday's document left no doubt about the Pope's eagerness to back traditional Roman Catholic practices and attitudes, even at the expense of causing offence. The view that Protestants cannot have churches was first set out by Pope Benedict seven years ago when, as Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, he headed the Vatican "ministry" for doctrine. A commentary attached to the latest text acknowledged that his 2000 document, Dominus Iesus, had caused "no little distress". But it added: "It is nevertheless difficult to see how the title of 'Church' could possibly be attributed to [Protestant communities], given that they do not accept the theological notion of the Church in the Catholic sense and that they lack elements considered essential to the Catholic Church."

U.S. losing its power over China
kuzadd replied to kuzadd's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Exactly, back to capitalism, the same system that got the rest of the first world to where it is now. Yes, but it drove Asia, and in particular the Pacific seaboard, into virtual bancruptcy in the mid 90s. One does not simply drag a third world state into the first world overnight. Sure it will someday drag itself into the first world, but it won't happen overnight, and it won't happen under it's current political system. Oh, and to Kuzzad...go back and research what Goldman Sachs said about the "Pacific Tigers" in 1990. Then investigate what DID happen to the Pacific Tigers. scottsa: as i stated previously: "It seems to be a widely accepted fact, this is certainly not the first time i have come across this type of projection. Some have even stated a little sooner then 2050." http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/4998020.stm China is set to become the world's biggest economy by 2026 according to a poll conducted on behalf of the BBC. And India is poised to take over fourth place behind the US and Japan. Only 1% of respondents felt the UK would be the world's leading economy in 20 years. India's infrastructure problems and scarcity of resources were seen as putting it at a disadvantage to China. The findings contradict a Goldman Sachs projection of the world's economies which had the US in top place in 2026. Large populations A total of 41% of respondents in the BBC World Poll, powered by GMI, had China in top spot by 2026, 35% plumped for the US, 10% chose Japan, and 6% favoured India. The findings contradict a Goldman Sachs projection of the world's economies which had the US in top place in 2026. -
Oh but argus, you are mistaken, persons who were not considered 'white' not so long ago, are now accepted as 'white', you see, what 'white' is is always changing, which is why it is so much baloney!

"manipulation of language for political ends": GWB: " when we talk about war, we're really talking about peace." "Invasion of personal privacy by the state, whether physically or by means of surveillance." wow NSA spying! round-ups, renditions "The substitution of traditional religion with the adoration of the state and/or its leaders. " Just ask the 'christian right" GWB is to be revered and prayed over at Jesus Camp. They make movies about this guy, yikes "The state's encouragement of "doublethink," whereby the population must learn to embrace inconsistent concepts without dissent; e.g. giving liberty up for freedom. They are the same thing, hence doublethink." Giving up liberty for freedom, hey, we have proponents of that right here, on this forum , a dystopian future? Hm? it's here already.

http://www.bradshawfoundation.com/journey/ The map will show for the first time the interaction of migration and climate over this period. We are the descendants of a few small groups of tropical Africans who united in the face of adversity, not only to the point of survival but to the development of a sophisticated social interaction and culture expressed through many forms. http://exn.ca/hominids/outofafrica.cfm " One of the key questions in human evolution is when and how our early ancestors migrated out of Africa. " Since we are all "out of Africa" we are all of one race. That's all there is to it!

gotta love that!!! My religion is better then yours , nah, nah, nah!! Oh yeah, it's a real "news" story. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070710/ap_on_...er_christians_4 ORENZAGO DI CADORE, Italy - Pope Benedict XVI reasserted the primacy of the Roman Catholic Church, approving a document released Tuesday that says other Christian communities are either defective or not true churches and Catholicism provides the only true path to salvation. The statement brought swift criticism from Protestant leaders. "It makes us question whether we are indeed praying together for Christian unity," said the World Alliance of Reformed Churches, a fellowship of 75 million Protestants in more than 100 countries. "It makes us question the seriousness with which the Roman Catholic Church takes its dialogues with the reformed family and other families of the church," the group said in a letter charging that the document took ecumenical dialogue back to the era before the Second Vatican Council. It was the second time in a week that Benedict has corrected what he says are erroneous interpretations of the Second Vatican Council, the 1962-1965 meetings that modernized the church. On Saturday, Benedict revived the old Latin Mass — a move cheered by Catholic traditionalists but criticized by more liberal ones as a step backward from Vatican II. Wow, let's go back in time, yeah!

"Is anyone concerned that Caucasians are intentionally destroying themselves as a homogenous race? It's a fair question, I think, because that is the course embarked upon many years ago when the traditionally Caucasian nations embarked upon policies, almost as one, to institute mass immigration of so-called "visible minorities." There is NO such thing as different races, there is no such thing as different races. Differences in skin colours are responses to different climates.( sun exposure etc.) etc., Therefore as the poster said, the premise is faulty and is being used to foment division.

What must we do to protect our White culture?

You are right, but nonetheless, since i have some personal issues, with this type of crap, that affected my childhood and upbringing, I must point out it is disgusting! -
What must we do to protect our White culture?
kuzadd replied to Leafless's topic in Moral & Ethical Issues
what's a white canadian? what's white culture? Are all christians white? 'Canadian streets are now full of ethnic foreigners' so? Immigrants largely built this country, so what else is new? Bigots like leafless made my father's migration to canada, that much more difficult, inc, but not limited to members of my own family, and also as a child of an immigrant I can recall the name DAGO, oh so well. Yes there was a time when italians were like black people, stealing jobs and OMG, marrying white women!!! sick! -
Oh and I wanted to make note, NIST released June 29th http://www.nist.gov/public_affairs/releases/wtc_062907.html NIST Status Update on World Trade Center 7 Investigation "NIST also is considering whether hypothetical blast events could have played a role in initiating the collapse. While NIST has found no evidence of a blast or controlled demolition event, NIST would like to determine the magnitude of hypothetical blast scenarios that could have led to the structural failure of one or more critical elements." It really get's me wondering, since the wtc 7 collapse is so non-credible, are we about to embark on a new round of Bush league propaganda??? Will NIST announce that yes explosives brought down wtc 7 planted by "terrorists" of course, and then all the "true believers", will go along with that, and tell everyone how the "bad boogey men" Muslim/arab planted the bombs, hahahahahahaha, cause , ya know, that would be believable to the "true believers"

riverwind: I am still waiting for an explanation on how oxygen deprived fires burnt hotter, 60 feet below ground buried under debris??? Tons of debris?? Your aluminum arguement fell flat, shouldn't have took cheney's bait?! Anyway, checked out your link, interestingly and I'll note the entire argument is speculative, the author does NOT even know if these battery rooms were present, therefore it is interesting you accept it, as credible? Very interesting, indeed.

U.S. losing its power over China
kuzadd replied to kuzadd's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
All things being equal, I'd agree with you. Under the circumstances though, I think it much more likely though that China will not become a first world state anytime soon, and faces the more likely prospect of destablizing into either martial law or anarchy. The political infrastructure is simply not there to become a first world country. The military is largely self-regulating, the bureaucracy is better suited to the Ching dynasty than to the modern world, and the social dynamics are in a state of flux and have been since the turn of the century, from warlordism to militarism, to Japanese invasion, to communist militarism, to radical communist social change, and over the last 40 years back to capitalism. Add to that the minority problems, the inequal regional changes and a host of other problems, including perhaps most significantly a growing adventurism in foreign policy, and things don't look good for either China or anything China touches. scottsa: out of touch as always? "In 2005, the top five economies in the world were the U.S., Japan, Germany, France and Britain. By 2050, Goldman Sachs estimates, they will be China, United States, India, Brazil and Mexico. What the Americans cannot accept is that at some point they will no longer be number one. " China will be the top world economy. It seems to be a widely accepted fact, this is certainly not the first time i have come across this type of projection. Some have even stated a little sooner then 2050. If the US continues to overextend itself, on it's little wacked out military missions, it will be sooner. -
Don't forget...OIL for Canadian oil services companies, like the one at Himrin Field... LOL! lol, yah! But it sure as heck wasn't for the "war on terror" that's for the suckers! lol!!!!

Not only that, it is an insult to the people who died in 9/11, their surviving relatives and the eye witnesses. No governments are pure there are always bad apples, but to actually believe that hundreds of gov't officials etc. actually planned to kill thousands of innocent people to further some agenda is the height of idiocy. Conspiracy theories obviously fill a need of some kind, not sure what but people who believe and perpetuate the 9/11 one in particular are delusional at the very least and insult everyone's intelligence. Its all part of an irrational hatred of Bush and the U.S. but one has to be a few clowns short of a circus to actually believe it was a gov't conspiracy. Those who write the books do it for profit, they know how many people can be suckered in. Maybe its Alcan behind it, you know, tin foil hats and all. LOL How foolish are these types of statements, really? Always get's me chuckling! an insult to the dead? There dead. An insult to survivors? Are you aware of how many survivors and relatives of the dead, are questioning 9/11??? or do you just spout nonsense, cause perhaps you mistakenly think it sounds plausible? or is it a manipulative tactic to silence questioners through 'guilt' http://www.patriotsquestion911.com/survivors.html find there a list of over 110 survivors, witnesses and the family members of the deceased, who question. How dare they "insult' themselves, give me a break! come on, who can say that with a straight face? How many posters recall, for how long the bush junta INSULTED the survivors and witnesses who wanted an investigation, how long did the regime INSULT the survivors, the widows, until he finally, finally caved to pressure, then underfunded the investigation????? Get real people!

I've already told you....Iraq was invaded for one stop shopping to achieve several American foreign policy goals going back to at least 1991: 1) Overthrow of Saddam Hussein per US Public Law (Iraq Liberation Act - 1998) [complete] 2) Extinguishing WMD capabilities, real or imagined (from previous administrations) [complete] 3) Continuation of forward projection for military operations in the Mideast sans Saudi turf (it's holy!) [complete] 4) Recovery of large oil reserves for a world market with increasing demand (China, India, Australia) [in progress] 5) Iran (how ya doing neighbor!?) [in progress] 6) Al Qaeda roach motel [in progress] PMs Blair and Howard agreed...now what's for lunch!? BC knows full well the "war on terror" is the sales pitch and nothing more. He merely plays along for the dupes who believe, fanatically, that is actually the case. Iraq was invaded for one stop shopping, that much is true, but the foreign policy goals, go back further then '91. There were no WMD's of any concern, the Bush administration was fully aware of this, Condoleeza and Colin Powell, had both made statements to this effect, wrt Iraq, until propaganda time began. AlQuaeda was NEVER in Iraq, under Saddam, so that is just more BC, BS! Here's why they went to Iraq: Militarily, Iraq, as a launching pad for further wars. OIL, for Money, Oil for Control of other countries, (by controlling the resource, one can control the economies of other countries) Oil for power. as the other poster says, all the rest is upselling.
-
No scottsa, it's about 'terrorism' rofl!! right, lol!?? oh I mean WMD's oh I mean fweedum and demonocracy. Oil, oil.oil, oil, oil, oil, oil pipelines, pipelines, pipelines, pipelines resources, resources, resources, resources NOT TERRORISM or the 'war on terror' Yeah, scottsa, did the light go on for ya? How many yrs too late?

MDs, Islam, Medievalism & the Enlightenment
kuzadd replied to August1991's topic in Moral & Ethical Issues
"Muslims have tremendous issues with sex. It's the most obvious feature of life in the Middle East. I myself have started threads on this issue." Muslims have issues with sex??? What about the ideologically nutty Fundamentalist chrisitans, they don't have issues with sex???!! Do you miss the threads on this forum wrt homosexuality, women's rights, doctors refusal to treat patients raped based on religious beliefs and more??? Is this a serious thread? I have to ask, cause honestly, I can hardly see it as that. Is this just another way to demonize Mislims with more nonsense, dressed up as 'enlightened discussion'??? Take a good look around this forum. -
Kosovo-why so important to the US? geopolitically speaking
kuzadd replied to kuzadd's topic in The Rest of the World
This warning does not do justice to the name in question. This Michael Savage has a long history of publishing lies. A few minutes of Google can demonstrate the man's extreme neocon views and history of 'playing fast and loose' with facts. what Michael savage is is a republican talking head, he keeps the 'repubs' supporters on track, since at the time it was a democratic prez, he has to keep the 'supporters' in line,( sufficiently wound up against) so he writes this piece, to do just that. Putting the appropriate spin on it of course. (attacking "socialists" and "liberals")spin, spin, spin. His basic facts are solid, from my reading. "How do I know that the Kosovo action was about oil or, to be exact, about establishing a safe haven for an oil pipeline? Just recently Bill Clinton signed an historic agreement with Azerbaijan on this very matter. Azerbaijan is one of the former Soviet republics that became a separate country with the breakup of the USSR. Formerly, Caspian oil would have come into the world market as a Soviet export but not anymore. It now comes under the flag of this newly independent nation via Turkey where it is transshipped by way of Turkish seaports. And Russia has been deftly unlinked from the world oil market." trans-balkan pipeline. when it comes to US interests , the policy especially foreign is ALWAYS the same, wether it is dem or repub. Savages purpose is to manipulate the dupes, the repub dupes in this case. -
oh and in a speech Aussie PM Howard says http://www.theage.com.au/news/National/Mid...3351325634.html Mr Howard told a strategic conference in Canberra that energy demand was one of the reasons for establishing a stable, democratic Iraq. but then later....... He later denied that he or Dr Nelson had said troops were staying in Iraq to protect the western world's oil supply. oil, oil, oil, oil, oil, oil,
-
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/6272168.stm Australian Defence Minister Brendan Nelson has admitted that securing oil supplies is a key factor behind the presence of Australian troops in Iraq. He said maintaining "resource security" in the Middle East was a priority. In comments to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Mr Nelson admitted that the supply of oil had influenced Australia's strategic planning in the region. "Obviously the Middle East itself, not only Iraq but the entire region, is an important supplier of energy, oil in particular, to the rest of the world," he said. "Australians and all of us need to think what would happen if there were a premature withdrawal from Iraq. "It's in our interests, our security interests, to make sure that we leave the Middle East, and leave Iraq in particular, in a position of sustainable security." by security interests he is referring to a secure oil interest. be it supply or profiteering, whatever.

Kosovo-why so important to the US? geopolitically speaking
kuzadd replied to kuzadd's topic in The Rest of the World
Or something even less sensational like regional stability? FRY had the potential to escalate ionto a wider regional european war drawing in nations like Albania and greece to the south and Hungary to the north. On top of that the refugee problem was critical. NATO or the UN should have drawn theline when FRY tried to invade Slovenia, they should have drawn the line after Croatia......that is their shame.....but that doesn't mean that failling to draw ther line that they never should have afterwards......as I said earlier.....Montenegro and Macedonia are still peaceful, mainly because of NATO and the UN. actually, the US would more accuratley be after regional INSTABILITY, that could be exploited to there advantage. -
This one just always gets me laughing hilariously at the gullibility of the official conspiracy theory believers, everytime! it demonstrates the ultimate in gullibility! I love it! "The intelligence failure wrt 9/11"??????????????? Just like the one for Iraq?????????????????? lol!!!!! not plausible.!! not believable!! not credible!!! there is ample , ample evidence of prior knowledge. inc. preps at the G-8 summit, for attacks from the air, which saw GWB staying away from world leaders, surrounded by surface to air missiles, and that is but one example, one can also check out Condoleeza Rice's own words. "Perhaps some individuals have not been properly punished for their incompetence " actually NO ONE was punished, nadda, zip zero zilch. There was a whole round of promotions after 9/11, but no punishment. But that;s it! in reality, you get Promoted for incompetence, yah, yah, that's it! This is what makes the intelligence failure and incompetence claims, so bogus, as to wonder why anyone with even half a brain would beleive them??? Hey , OBL charted a jet out of the US just eight days after 9/11, I guess that's just more incompetence, roflmao! and no one got fired!
-
I like your analogy! could you imagine if the police came to your house with a ten yr old search warrant, and you no longer lived there?! it's obvious Bush and co. understood this and that is why then TRIED, unsuccessfully, to get a new resolution.
