  1. http://tinyurl.com/7uvuofn Canada has openly stated they will support an attack on Iran. I'm wondering why this is not more in the public awareness that Canada is de jure at war with Iran and in violation of the UN charter, that mandates non interferance in internal affairs of other member states. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/defence-minister-says-he-will-speak-with-israel-about-reported-plans-to-attack-iran/article2234766/?utm_medium=Feeds%3A%20RSS%2FAtom&utm_source=Home&utm_content=2234766 what is this? http://titanprotectiongroup.com/blog/entry/second-iranian-banker-mehregan-amirkhosravi-move-to-canada-to-escape-banking-scandal-in-native-iran
  2. I bet he blames greece too, yeah blame depending on totally undependeable segments to base your economy on, that is a recipe for disaster http://www.businessweek.com/news/2011-11-08/flaherty-delays-canada-s-return-to-fiscal-balance-to-2015.html
  3. IT IS A LITTLE DISAPOINTING TO LEARN THE 30% TUITION REDUCTION ONLY APPLIES TO INDIVIDUALS WHO GRADUATED HIGHSCHOOL WITHIN THE PREVIOUS 4 YEARS. I THOUGHT THIS WOULD BE AN ACROSS THE BOARD REDUCTION FOR EVERYONE NOT IN THE HIGH INCOME RANGE SADLY IT ISN'T MEANING MATURE STUDENTS GET STUCK WITH HIGHER RATES THAN RECENT HIGHSCHOOL GRAUDATES, ALSO STUDENTS WHO TAKE A BREAK FROM STUDIES PAY MORE, STUCK EITH THE HIGHEST RATES IN CANADS. I'M VERY DISPLEASED BY THIS INEQUALITY, SINCE SOME LOW INCOME PEOPLE WILL BE MADE INELIGIBLE AND PEOPLE SUCH AS MYSLEF HAVE NO ADVANTAGE FROM THE PROGRAM WHATSOEVER FORCING ME FOR INSTANCE TO TAKE EVEN LONGER TO FINISH MY PROGRAM DUE TO LACK OF FUNDING TO DO SO. THIS IS THE FIRSTMBURN I HAVE FELT FROM THEM. I FEEL MANIPULATED. THIS WAS A DEFINATE LOSS OF CONFIDENCE FOR ME. THIS PUSHED ME FURTHER FROM THEM FOR SURE. IT LOOKS LIKE THE HONEYMOON IS OVER. BASTARD
  4. http://edmonton.ctv.ca/servlet/an/local/CTVNews/20111029/afghanistan-attacks-target-nato-afghan-forces-111029/20111029/?hub=EdmontonHome no combat here, safe non involved non combat mission If they can't stop it there, no ammount of security will stop it here, so why try? Why the multi billions on airport scanners and people tracking databases? How is 700kg of explosives a needle?
  5. Before it was sorta the parliamentary hansard but I stumbled upon this today and I was queried. http://www.termiumplus.gc.ca/tpv2guides/guides/tcdnstyl/index-eng.html?lang=eng It was like God answered my question about what way I should write seven-course, and solve the split between British and American compound adjectives.
  6. what you thonk they just give their shows away, of course. 'Two-thirds of CBC's budget comes from taxpayers, one-third from ad revenue. " You got to look at where the money goes not where it went. Money that leaves fornthe us or non canadian c8ticzens leaves the canadian econony? where is the cbc's money going? does thst 1 billion turn into 1 billion taxes at 20% on personal i come dtax. Siddebtly tat 1 billion is 800 millionna dn 200 millionnof federak tax revenue.
  7. I think an all canadian content rule for the cbc would be good. The clutches of carnation andnwheel of course show canadas stong cultural ties. They are hugely popular shows. CBC funding shouldn't be in question operational needs and aadequette arts funding for programming sindicated by the government is where it shoukd be at that and suvbstantial local orofgramming from the grassnroots between midnight and 7am. It is actually suprusing the cbc runs 1 buillion dollars, but how much is for arts funding? h9wmmuch canadian arts funding do the other canadian networks provide? How much money goes to canadian arts funding from sun? To canadian actors etc,...?
  8. Its not about what you get its about what you got. The future plays into the presents actions but the present should never be sacrificed for the future. In the end all we have is the past. The future comes to you, no need to make it. You can position all you'd like but your life is experiencing the position. Life js all about being adjusted to deal with everywhere you may be. It js hard to comment on a future you never had with anything more than an imaginary sense of authority. You can talk about your experience but why talk about non experiences? $500 a month is the cost ofa high priced fitness club not a lot. At my local university they have sauna and pool and lots of fitness facikities, climbing wall squash courts. I win't mention all the percs some official and some not but it is easy to get $500 worth of services each month out of the deal, $1000 of that wikl e paid minuimum dir any true poor person. $300 a month covers the gym itself no problem. $10,000 isn't real money to anyone but a bum, I have more value than that and I am a bum, aim higher. this talk of a few 10's of thousands of dollars for 4 free years of life is jokable. If it were hundreds of thousand s like harvard it might be real, but $10,000 a year is destitution rate cash thats a weeken d vacation for someone who actually has real money. Ifyou are cryj g iver a t bil you have greater money issues than you know, mygosh bigwigs have million dollar flights this isn't even the bar tab. if you can cry you havn't cried enough in life to know it.
  9. http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/10/24/us-syria-usa-idUSTRE79N22G20111024 and the plot thickens as turkey and iran pincer the kurds.... those israeli backed kurds,,, in northern iraq as the us is set to withdrawal their remaini 40000 or so troops.... wonder if they will take a land air or sea route? http://www.isria.com/pages/24_October_2011_326.php
  10. Gaddafi estimated worth 200 Billion Was richest man in the world. Heirs to bejailed... will his family get his money?urely not all are to be executed and jailed? Not only is libya's missingmoney yet to be resolved, Gaddafi's non inherited mo ey worth more than Libya's missing money pegged at 70 billion, http://www.deathandtaxesmag.com/153665/the-200-billion-gaddafi-fortune-a-good-percentage-is-owed-to-the-libyan-people/ He even had more money than Osama bin laden
  11. Federal NDP are trying to defend it though.. http://www.montrealgazette.com/news/canada/asks+seven+Tory+abstain+from+Wheat+Board+vote/5599698/story.html I actually agree the tories are out to lunch 0.0002% of the Canadian population is not a broad segment of the canadian population. Now 'all farmers" might do it but 'wheat farmers is pretty damn specific. The vote needs to be ammended or the 7 mps locked away for corruption, note my own opinion is that the wheat boars should be an optional service for farmers for collective sale distrobution (an outlet of sale but not a forced monopoly) that is paid for by the farmers who participate in the board,,. mega agri stomp small farmers as a result of this,
  12. Good advice again. Youve been coming back with good advice lately b.c direct flights are usally better. who wants to travel to the US when there are cheaper and nicer countries to travel to pretty much everywhere else in the world. Keep em coming b.c.
  13. I'm not effected by this personally since I'm banned from travel to the US, but this little measure may see 50+ million dollars migrate from canadian pockets to US pockets each year is worth mention. I'm more miffed at the secuirty cost incrwases on the canadian sides than thisn $5.50 surcharge, but it has you wonder, how much americans are paying to travel to the US. Where is the canadian surcharge? This surcharge represent more money than the Federal government gives to political parties in Canada, it is no drop in the bucket. Canada will have to slap on $20 to make the money back on America travellers.
  14. Hey maybe there is a reason why you don't have gun registry shooters in the media, where are the registered guns used in crimes? Hey look mom it worked. Think about how successful blockage to underage drinking or drug induced rape would be lessened by bottle and joint registries. You know making people get licesned to use rather than simply signing up, and not being able to hand on to unregistered users. This and gun control will make Canada Jesus land, We don't need 70 Million dollar jails we need 70 million dollar sinner cards. How many people went to jail as a result of the registry? No, I said your sinner card. Just imagine the future with me. The gun registry is safety for screwing up the other 9 rules and stopping the spread of the breach of the covenant.
  15. atleast afterthis bill passes every cop that gets killed as a result of not having intelligence on a gun that would have been registered under the long gun registry or every illegally sold gun sold to a forged PAL or no PAL holder used in a violent crime will be blood on the hands of Stephen Harper and the Conservative Party of Canada. Well just have to wait to see how bloody their hands get with Canadian blood. because that other third of gun crimes don't matter right. Why prevent 33% of gun crimes whe you can prevent 0% right? Conservative logic working for everyday Canadians. Cause you know they have their reasons. hey look liberal party colours worn by the tories, a sign of the future,
  16. What thursday are you refering to?
  17. does this mean higher or lower wheat prices? I saw atta durum at less than 9$ for 8-9kg although food prices seem to still be going up faster than the inflation rate. it is matter less whether I eat crab shrimp salmon or tuna as the prices of high end products are meeting up with low end products hey atleast is not india..10% food inflation
  18. With a total majority laws really don't matter, aside from the time frame of changing legislation. None the less what this really amounts to is deregistration of the cpc and some mp's being disqualfied from holding office, and some past mps not being allowed to run again. Back to a minirity in the worse/best case, thise seats would be up for bielection anyway are people going to want a minority again, its been less than a year. There is still a queen and senate, the crime is still by the people, the guns are still watched, alberta still doesn't have more seats than ontario, there isn't 2 trillion debt yet, and canada isn't at war with the other 15 arab states and iran. Calm down there is still more fun in store. My gosh the charter still exists, and the f35s havn't been delivered, the boats havn't been built,,, liberals could scrap that if they assumed thendp's 100+ seats and te conservsrtoive scapegoats and blocs seats. (my gosh there is still a canada instead of the 11 or so federated states of the united states commonwealth. there are still unions. The reality is the system is corrupt so people will lie and bs about things, crooks walk away, life goes on. This is the problem, with the partisan system. deregistration just requires them to pay some bills and get some signatures, reality is though even in an obvious case of election fraud we are still havig this discussion. It has taken years and years for this, it just shows the sorry state the judicial system is in. They are all about them and that is what it comes down to.
  19. already happened http://www.facebook.com/OccupyDisneyWorld http://www.floridapoliticalpress.com/2011/10/14/occupy-disney/ its all about iranmethinks,
  20. Well it is finally coming to my nieghborhood its not just the biggest cities. I'm in rank 13 population wise and it is starting up. area of perhaps half a million I'll be keen to see if the choice of location effects the war protestors or if it will just converge, I think that it really isn't wanna be but ameans of mass popularization of protests that have been ongoing for a long time but no receive much attention. This is a means of consolidating the wrongs of theelite and wealthy that have perpetuated wrongs such as war, environmental exploitation, and poverty to name a few. In the wake of he g20 these protests are more about the right of disent and protest not simply cooking the pigs. The courts still havn't dealt with the g20 arrests and it hapened over a year ago. A major reason for that was a preliminary hearing process that allowed the submission of 10's of thousands of pages of national security investigation of the accused -- the person hearing the case should have insured documents were vetted for relevant materials not required thousands and thousands of pages to be sifted through. It if filibustering while those people charged with conspiracy have their right to protest and organization withheld in some cases under house arrest, and the media banned from giving out details, so said to protect the identity of the imbeded national security agents thatare still or had infiltrated protest movements to disrupt them and collect evidence (or even set them up and boost them by giving them gifts to remove threats that otherwise would be clean). It is totally abuse of process that a Canadian court should not oblidge as it is an offence against the very heart of administration of justice in a free and democratic society. With the popularization and media interest it allows acknowledgemet that has lacked from the ongoing protest no one hears bout, the antiwar proests every week, the antipoverty actions. The g20 isn't the only protest, things like grassy narrows arn't even in the public awareness, at the very least this occupy movement may give voice where once itwas abset in the public mind. It is the move e t maki g the event, not the moveme t responding to one, i is an offensive, but simple means of asserting the free democratic processes that are being stripped by corrupt overlordship. The message is as simple as "Power to the People!" These protests areabout voice for the minority, the disenfranchised and oppressed, and most of all the people who support freedom and democracy
  21. http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/article/1067582--canada-commits-10-million-to-help-libya-recover-missing-weapons Much like the 28 million to enact a war reinactment 1/3rd of that cost or 50 cents per tax payer is being raped from their pockets to hunt for weapons in some north african desert? They should pay for it from their party donations not the public purse if they want it, this is worse spending than the war reinactment, The ntc stold 10's of billions of dollars from the gadaffi government they don't need free money to do this. What a moron, Braid is.. much lime shoring up support for for millionaires giving them social assistsnce, and humanitarian aid for opec billionaires, they have the money, this is nothing ,lre than greasing palms much like raitt amd air canada ehat morally baseless principles you wamt to do good why not honour some of those native housing starts you promised, or or not completely derail organkzations thst have wlrmed with the governmwnt for decades or veterans supports or civil service positions, why the hell give 20 million a=dollars to a rich state in africa?
  22. The government doesn't own sun why should it pay for it?
  23. My gawd where is the war, EUROPE IMF????? wtf? wasn;t the marshall plan ended? where is the war destruction at. Here's an idea don't deficit spend.. no bailout needed. Here is a better idea don;t lend money to someone who can't repay.''The solution... nationalize the banks, the reality.,. unfair tax , and bad spending ... it is why keynesian economics doesn;t work without equal taxation based on inflation tied to exoenditure, You need equal or greater return or ofset with inflation to avoid default. Fact is things will go but dumping more money in a broken system is just an excuse to make some rich at the exoense of the many. guess where you want to be at, development right development everyone benefits from that...where is it, right after the ticket desk? the boat will float or the captain will drown.. no wine or risk the cork screws.
  24. The government shouldn't spend general tax revenue it should sell tickets and take donations for events they want to run. Spending while in a trillion dollar debt is completely reckless. Sell the tickets as a tax deduction if so but public support should equate the expenditure. The only reason I suggest a deduction is that every tax payer should be rebated 1 or 2 dollars over this nonsense deficit spending. First off they shouldn't be taxing people for this crap was it in the budget to begin with? Second they shouldn't be deficit spending for this crap. Third they should be rebating the general tax payer if they are. Finally they should be recouping this loss through people who actually support it and watch it. It could be profitable but do we celebrate wwii or korea by simulating civil defence operations what avout the various invasions of native lands? This is utter nonsense. To be spending even a fraction of a pence for this, even if it is fun, there is no money. Let the bond payers pay for it, they will be anyway. It amounts to little more than military propaganda. There are places like the fort at kingston niagra or york that run year round. These sorts of events should be run by those organizations but should be funded from the users of those organizations. it is not the role of the federal government to spend money extravagantly on historical reinactment,,,it didn;t even pay for it then.. ifficers paid fr their posts not the other way around. If we are going to reinact it we shoukd start with the forces budget reinacted. If Canadians won't fund killing american invaders out of their own pockets why even bother, where is the kindeed spirit? And what fun is shooting a bunch of dummy targets, as who would want to play the american, it is doomed to failure. If we can occupy and bur the whitehouse it just isn't representstive. 28 million to burn the whitehouse, ok. 28 million to shoot at people on the thames and southern ontario and montreal, no.
  25. This is why a one vote per person system works best. Oil sands development and unemployment so people migrate, now with higher populations in Alberta they are upping the seats, but with oil sands downturn as the oil industry sinks and growth of employment outside of alberta the seat redistrobution will be completely unrepresentative on a per capita basis. What they do is they need to reassign riding boundaries if they arn't per capita representative so each riding should be reassigned not more ridings. MP's already costs enough. They need more "federal" non political jobs that can do what MP's do its not like MP's put out private member bills from their consitiuents anyway. There arn't even enough physical seats for all the MP's to sit in the commons as it is. What is the point of hiring more people not to attend parliament at the tax payer expense?
