  1. Very surprised this occurs unilaterally. I don't understand how people can have confidence in the US financial system at how hap hazardly the US violates private banking contracts. It is effectively financial piracy and an act of war. If you are wondering who is instigating things, it ain't Iran, it is the US, who is a nation robber not the worlds police, quite the opposite.
  2. http://middleeastinfo.wordpress.com/2011/12/14/israel-upgrades-fighter-planes-over-delayed-f-35-delivery/ delays delays delays. there are issues. You see, 1. an operating nuclear plant is not the same as a plant in construction difference between OSIRAK and places an NANTAZ. 2. Iran has many facilities some in which current munitions Israel has cannot penetrate (only the US has the newest super BBU's. So in this way ONLY the US can take out Iran's hardened facilities. The US however is economically exhausted and would really position itself poorly against China if it were to undertake a war against Iran. Also the destruction of Iran's facilities is not the same as OSIRAK, as I ran will take steps which required continued US war presence in Iran, and Iran will also be better positioned at this stage than the invasion of Iraq because it didn't disarm itself willingly like Iraq did before it was invaded. Israel has flown test flights, but it is unlikely current Israeli jets would penetrate Iranian airspace successfully as it would need advanced stealth technology only the US has. It is more likely Israel is testing pilots who will jump into the f35's. With the f35 stealth technology an attack may succeed in damaging some systems, but Israel doesn't have the bombs it needs to take out the hardened sites, and it will piss of the gulf if the wind blows the wrong way, or Pakistan another nuclear armed state. I'm guessing the US still has personnel in Afghanistan that could be effected by fallout, and so too India wouldn't be happy. Russia to the North also wouldn't be happy. They would fail. The US airforce could rain hell down, but it would be doing so at the cost of its own future. The US can't afford another multi trillion dollar war, and Obama, ain't gonna do that in an election year, he would loose the hippy vote, and potentially the election as a result. Congress hasn't authorized war with Iran as far as I'm aware.
  3. Well obviously they want the Liberals in longer than their own. Peds should be moved to adults only ghulags for life, and pot growers should work for the govt, in a federally regulated, constrained drug trade, that removes drugs from access to minors, and removes drug abuse by putting caps, and using safer use means like ingestion and vapourizers.. in non public spaces. Note, peds should be put in with other rapists. on the graduated system, but it would be better to confine them to a wide northern geographic area, (but they could still travel outside Canada, if another country let them in), but no northern area with an actual population, unless that area accepted readmission of someone convicted of being a ped. The time for crime system is just REALLY stupid. You need a real system like exile and death, and work camps and graduated 3 strikes 1, 5 10, life year terms to deal with this stuff. With starting points based on severity. eg. for serious crimes 5 for dangerous offenders 10 as a starting point, and for repeat dangerous offenders life. give everyone sentenced the option of death but not with a rope, with a more effective system, of course you need to change some laws. but the only way we are going to get rid of crime is by streamlining crime to real criminals, not the economically disadvantaged, or the mentally neglected. They need to wake the hell up and realize that time for crime hasn't worked in the last 200 years it ain't going to start now. It is situational and developmental, putting a criminal in with criminals, only creates criminal culture.
  4. Public funds should only be spent on public needs. Let the economy manage the economy. Only essential needs should be managed in control economy like fashion, leave private industry alone. Cut the beaurocratic red tape and redeploy people to profit generating revenues like planting apple trees, and making water systems that separate drinking water from toxic runoff and fetal wastes. Government can be skimmed down a whole lot, and people moved from non economically stimulating waste occupations to stimulating capacitation occupations. Its not about cutting it is about paying down the debt (not deficit) and putting funds into generative activities like public infrastructure, resource development, and innovation. We need to decrease loss on trade by regionalizing needs that are imported be they services or goods. Not only do we need to do it, but we need to do it by drawing on the unemployed to do it. How much does an unemployed person make, probably more than a factory worker in China, but hell they arn't in a factory, things need to change. neck prisoners have free room and board, Nicaragua has a better prison system in terms of cost than us and they are socialist we need more prison work programs. it is startling that the US has more prisoners than China, and that the total prisoners in the US is the size of a large city in Canada.
  5. Yes, and other Gulf States too, ideally Iran is closer so waste in shipping will be reduced especially linking a pipeline with the central Asian Countries and/or Afghanistan, to help fuel the mineral exploration that China is investing in. Same goes for India buying from Iran, Asia should buy from Asia. Modernization leads to equality and enlightenment. Removal of limitation of resources leads to removal of class barriers. But society must be engineered on a basis of value of wealth being a construct of the plentiful not the limited. Thus it is the creation of a society of abundance that will lead to universal peace and harmony, and oil runs out so will peace. Khomeni doesn't support Nuclearization, and is reluctant towards it. He places it as part of the Iranian Identity to explore things, however, I think the west is creating a self fulfilling prophesy. Iran's Interests are to some extent protected by China and Russia, they have no need of their own Nuclear weapon. They also do not need one to deal with Israel, their conventional capacities would be more than enough. Much like the sneak attack on Iraq in the 80's to destroy Iraq's nuclear development the violation of sovereignty is not acceptable for any state. It is a right we all have. Israel is a belligerent theocracy and I don't deny theirs or Iran's sovereign rights to pursue Nuclear weapons. Nuclear armed states are more stable and orderly. It is a good thing to be nuclear armed, it will thwart meddling by Europe and America into Iran's internal affairs. This meddling by western powers into sovereign countries around the world is completely rude and unacceptable. The assassinations and ruination of individuals for being in support of their own interests and sovereignty is completely corrupt and immoral on the part of foreign powers to commit clandestine acts against independent states. Invest in alternate and renewable energy, the stuff runs out. Its not about money. It is about skills and resources. Its not about money it is about how the economy is sustained. Oil is toxic and damages the environment. We need to reduce emissions, expanding supply won't do that. You talk about health care costs - fact is oil dramatically increases health care costs and is the #1 killer in the world, both in terms of destroying air quality globally, but also putting toxins in the air,the food and water supply. Oil is the #1 cause of Cancer. Also whether law stems from god or man does not eliminate the fact it is a law that is being put on another person. People tend to speak for god, even as a prophet, fact being it is man made law, some people just place that law as ordained by god, others by their great great great grand mother. The bottom line here is,law is law, it doesn't matter where it comes from rather more for human rights it matters if the law is reasonable. We don't all agree on laws here, and it is none of our business what other sovereignty's use for their own rule. Culture is ordained. as long as it is not rule over you then it is none of your business. Unless you loose all culture you cannot understand all culture. The west ain't right either. They are all f-ups. Everyone has the right to live their lives separate and free. it is only in association that social contract becomes something that is morally negotiable.
  6. Who cares who has more, what is important it is that they Arn't taking money from people who don't want to give it, that matters. The fact is we are stuck paying millions in donations to these jerks even without directly donating to them due to the write offs of totally charitable donations to businesses that are getting charity status while not serving public interests and instead serving partisan interests. THat is just wrong. Money won't make them any less corrupt. Also the conservatives don't represent ordinary Canadians, the NDP does, get a clue. Conservatives represent rich people, foreign businesses (particularly US), some Albertans, and well off Canadians in Ontario. they do not represent the reality the "normal" Canadian, they represent the privileged Canadians, and foreign especially US interests (particularly US oil companies like Imperial Oil) Harper ain't representing normal Canadians when he says old age security should be pushed back until 2 years after the average late middle income / low income retirement for working class people. The only people their policies benefit are people that are well to do. THe fact is more Canadians are bad off and in debt than well to do Canadians ready for retirement. People out for normal Canadians don't shun 10% of the Canadian population, they also don't announce to their buddies in the global economic forum what policies they plan on introducing before they hold consulations with their country's citizens. Harper's out there for the regular exxonmobile's not regular Canadians.
  7. This is a good premise but the problem exists when donations are tax deductible so even if you pay a party, the tax payer is stuck paying your tax donation to that party. So direct subsidizing vs.. getting stuck with the bill for your donations, only shows this benefits only people who want tax deductions and make enough to sign off on the tax deduction while it drives up taxes for everyone else.Canadians are stuck paying upwards of 6 million in donation subsidies to the conservatives. Under Harper's model only the rich benefit while everyone else is stuck donating to the party with the most donations rather than with the most public support at the polls. I don't see why parties should be stuck paying for other peoples donations. Of the two, having a built in donation per vote is more representative than forcing donations to the party you don't support due to tax write offs to the rich. it is crooked. they shouldn't even be not for profit / charity etc.. they are businesses, they arn't about public benefits they are about their own business interests. Cut the scumbags off from the public purse. If the parties want free money have their supporters pay for it, not Joe Public. It's not like they listen to Joe Public or voice Joe Public's concerns, its all about their own people. They should be paying a hell of a lot back to the treasury they've been robbing the public for over a century. Why the hell is Joe Public paying private interests upwards of 40 million dollars per year? This mysteriously only benefits the largest parties that have run Canada like Fascist dictators shutting out all minority voices and creating financial barriers toward access while only allowing themselves to economically benefit from their engineered process. I SPIT ON THEM.
  8. Here is an idea, how about China gets its energy supplies from Asia, and the US gets its Energy Supplies from Canada? Then we won't need to worry about ecological disasters being shipped over the ocean every day, and transport is reduced. Stop shipping old world oil to the new world and stop shipping new world oil to the old. It is just stupid.
  9. The Issue in all this is monitoring, especially with the ability to doctor evidence with modern tech. We need to insure that public hearings are held and family members involved in a death request consultation. People should predetermined what will happen to them, if they commit a crime - living will type situation. However, this talk is potentially criminal since it is counselling suicide, which is illegal and a criminal code offence. It is conspiracy to counsel suicide. eg. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/toronto/man-charged-with-aiding-suicides-over-the-internet/article1544704/ http://www.parl.gc.ca/Content/LOP/researchpublications/919-e.htm Section 14 of the Code provides that: No person is entitled to consent to have death inflicted on him, and such consent does not affect the criminal responsibility of any person by whom death may be inflicted on the person by whom consent is given. It would also be abetting a host of other crimes, and purporting this would be counselling for all these crimes. section 215 (Duty of persons to provide necessaries); section 219 (Criminal negligence); section 220 (Causing death by criminal negligence); section 221 (Causing bodily harm by criminal negligence); section 222 (Homicide); section 229 (Murder); section 231 (Classification of murder); section 234 (Manslaughter); the various assault and bodily harm provisions. Perhaps he should be handed a rope himself and see if the process is equitable to criminal scum OR would that be counseling suicide? He should be in jail for life: first-degree murder, because there is an intent to cause death politicians should not be exempt for being murderous sociopaths There is a duty of care and protection of life expected of all citizens especially the ones running the country. I support the option of death, but not by hanging it should be something quick, hanging is too prone to "misuse" such as broken necks that would cause medical costs to skyrocket. We need something like a garbage compacter or just a water filling room. Has to be flawless. We don't want failed and medically needy failed attempt victims cropping up. It should be enter the drowning chamber, and it is done. Or enter the super high temperature incinerator (or keep them up for a couple days with coffee, and put them in a locked Sauna on 110 for a few hours give them some canopy and relating and a sleeping cap and it will be painless on the way out http://news.discovery.com/human/sauna-championships-death-heat.html ) and it is done. Don't cling to stupid past cliches, get it done right stop pursuing around with it. A humane option may be cement boots into freezing water, they would likely be in shock they wouldn't feel anything, especially if you give them a few bottles of liquor first. This is really grim stuff though. But the bottom line is the rope thing is just nonsense and not well thought out. I only support this as a means of giving the innocent and non intentful people a way out of the abuses and dehumanizations that will last the rest of their lives unjustly as victims of the system, not those who are just corrupt and criminal. The bottom line is we should have a justice system where people become better people and have no reason to end it. The justice system however is broken and corrupt. of course organ harvesting might be good to get into any sort of deal, so the ice water might be best, as it would perhaps also preserve the organs. Non Murder Crime rates would drop dramatically if Draco was running Canada.
  10. So fox is left covering Windsors midget toss and the heartfelt arabs decide to hear Canadian residents plight with the US Military industrial complex. ( http://www.foxnews.com/world/2012/01/27/canadian-dwarf-tossing-contest-stirs-controversy/ )
  11. Well Al Qaeda is covering the story now so it looks like you can't hide the Sarin gas there no more? http://blogs.windsorstar.com/2012/02/01/al-jazeera-news-channel-picks-up-on-buzz-around-windsor-hum/
  12. "extrajudicial detention" - what a sham. Note that charges under the secrecy of information act would be existent if Canada had reason to believe the US charges were true. canadian national security has higher importance in Canada than US national security so no extradition should be allowed if there are charges in Canada, and there MUST be charges in Canada to substantiate an extradition request on the same basis. This would be under "Communications with Foreign Entities or Terrorist Groups" of the Secrecy of Information Act. Note though that BIll C36 is in large part unconstitutional on the foundation of Canada 1982, and is archaic, and flatly violates the constitution. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_Anti-Terrorism_Act The bottom line hereis that the person should be tried in Canada, or at worst Iraq, the US has no right of claim or habeas corpus. Canada should not grant an extradition to a court that does not recognize habeas corpus.
  13. I don't see no security certificate. Also the system imposed by the security certificates is also unintentional and contrary to the intents of the constitution, as it violates a host of measures intended in the charter. The issue of fundamental justice is not at issue in this case because no charges exist in Canada. The reason for the security certificate is when National Security is at risk, essentially an invocation of the war measures, or current Emergencies Act, or Official Secrets Act. It is Canada providing evidence to the US, not the other way around. If a crime was committed it should be tried in Canada if the crime was commited in Canada, or contraversly in Iraq if the crime was committed in Iraq, the US has nothing to do with this aside from the fact us citizens were killed. If an american is killed in Canada, the trial does not happen in the US. Period. The US has not extradition rights in this case. Its like me attempting to extradite a robbery on a Canadian in Mexico by an American, not going to happen. The US has no legal claim to extradition, no crime against the US occured. US law DOES NOT extend beyond the borders of the United States. The US has NO fundamental rights to pursue crimes that do not occur in US jurisdiction. The US constitution thus Legal Powers of the United States do not extend outside the United States. The ONLY time extradition rights exist (aside from when someone is in custody for another purpose) is when a crime is commited in dual jurisdictions (or solely in the jurisdiction of a state, and the person who is accused is in another state) and one state has a greater interest. The US is not a jurisdiction in this case and no US court had juridiction over Iraq or Canada, the US has no rights in this NONEXISTANT case as no charges have been laid. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Law_of_the_United_States note the Official Secrets act may be stated as (more complex than simply a different act but I'll just post a link to the 2001 bill) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Security_of_Information_Act
  14. So McCain endorsed Romney for the top job, any chance that former presidential canidate John McCain will crop up on the ticket, now that it seems inevitable that Romney will secure the top spot as the GOP Headliner?
  15. Obama revised it and kept that provision in it, not sure if it is in the same part thought but it is not new, but the act revision is. (apparently the bill stems to ... officially 2008 but there are other acts such as the alien and sedition act, spying for the enemy act etc.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Defense_Authorization_Act 1798 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alien_and_Sedition_Acts http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Espionage_Act_of_1917 etc.. USC title 50 re: 1948 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Title_50_of_the_United_States_Code My main issue in all this is that it is an Iraq and Canadian Jurisdiction issue. Iraq had a provisional government at the time, its not a US jurisdictional concern. US jurisdiction does not extend to Canada and does not extend to Iraq. While an extradition request could be made, if the guy supported terrorism the RCMP should be the ones trying him not the US, since the crime was commited in Canada not the US. Where are the Canadian charges and trial? Arar and Kadir only go to demonstrate why the us justice system should not be trusted and a higher standard needs to be sought.
  16. Perhaps he can choose to sit as an independent of the Conservative Party of Brad Trost. I honestly applaud the Man for doing his job and voting on his conscience and what he thinks is best. That is what you call a real man, unlike the feminine canines that surround him.
  17. This is in the news and would have to be "hoaxed" by 900+ people.
  18. So, the US has indefinate custody in Military Prison for civillians accused of crimes. (even if they are in Canada, and electronic data, which can be doctored or hacked is all that exists linking the person to the people who actually carried out the act. (Note the intenet logs were not handed over only a harddrive... and harddrives can be hacked. - they are not a secure medium) I've been hacked all the time. A Canadian is being requested extradited (perhaps) - but it isn't to a civillian jail with posibility of parole, it is to a military prison for indefinate holdings (re: guantanamo) ... actually the US is also open to just abducting people it wants... http://news.nationalpost.com/2012/01/31/canadian-accused-in-deadly-terror-plot-could-face-undemocratic-indefinite-detention-in-u-s-lawyer/ Canada should not support extraditions to countries who do not uphold constitutional rights Canadians enjoy in Canada.
  19. apparently its not just windsor but every Canadian border, city .... any tunneling going on down there? so far Sarnia and Windsor also take for instance http://projectcamelot.org/underground_bases.html so now you know http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7iqEA5zR54U check out 5:20 of this one the comment on cosmic rays
  20. smoke and mirrors? fact is sometimes when people call 911 police don't know what the are going into, and knowing if there are guns at the residence, and they get a distress call from that house the stakes are much higher. If someone calls shots fired they will have a slightly better idea of whether or not there is a legal gun in the house and who owns it etc.. there are lots of reasons, but the bottom line is, knowing there is a gun in a house, allows you to respond accordingly.. the meth lab tangent really makes no sense. Police don't need a swat team to execute a warrant for a meth lab if they have no reason to suspect there will be an armed confrontation there. A search warrant is not an arrest warrant. http://www.hackcanada.com/canadian/freedom/search.html http://www.nfa.ca/resource-items/search-warrants-police-are-your-door-what-do-you-do I hate to say it but anyone leaving a meth lab lying around in their house instead of cleaning up after a batch is not too bright. If people are smart enough to make it they should be smart enough to safely dispose of it like with a metal kiln etc.. http://www.mappsd.org/Labs%20Photo%20Gallery.htm I look at this junk and wonder why people don't understand why I prefer a legal supply that is monitored and tracked instead of http://www.methingredients.com/ meth is a drug that may still be used in the military(and was used by the US airforce until they started using something like modofinal instead http://www.crystalmethaddiction.org/History_of_Crystal_Meth.htm What toy guns arn't used in robberies. While someone could have both a toy gun and a real gun as a red herring, knowing that there are toy guns could limit use of lethal force, it is a protection. Police tend to shoot first and ask questions later. It is better that any question they need to ask already has an answer given before contact. Cops are too reactionary and as you can tell by the deaths and assaaults causing bodily harm.. apply from time to time more force than is required for putting someone into custody, especially in rapidly evolving situations. Police would know to look for the specific type of weapon.. with a rifle you can tell if the person has a pistol and you are responding to distress.. then cover and full body armour and a swat team may be prudent. This stuff may or may not save lives, but its not only the cops lives, its also the gunowners, or toy gunowners life who may be saved by having that information available.
  21. who CARES!! a white guy killed someone stored them in their freezer and munched on them from time to time, are we still talking about it today? no. next thing you know we'll be blaming honour killings on the missing babies. fact is rednecks do this sort of thing all the time.. oh my wife tattled on me beating her I'm going to go blow her head off syndrome. This isn't any different. It just takes a different turn when the boyfriend and his daughter both get shot for sleeping in his bed and leaving the door unlocked. Fact is from those mulsims I talked to, the guy is often punished too but it doesn't leave the father feeling any less shamed, and adultury often meets with murders here. IT IS NOT DIFFERENT GET OVER IT... if this wern't a muslim you wouldn't care GROW UP! Oh look here an honour killing by some white waspy dude? http://www.620wtmj.com/news/local/84883437.html?page=1 ITs A FREAKEN FELONY IN THE LOWER LANDS. Then people on here claim America is SUPERIOR CULTURALLY.. fact is that here in canada indictments mean they are desrving of capital punishment that is where the whole indictment thing originates from.. that is what a friggen felony is! look Google rank #3 for shot wife for adultery is "honor killing" http://www.google.ca/#sclient=psy-ab&hl=en&source=hp&q=shot+wife+for+adultery&oq=shot+wife+for+adultery&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&gs_sm=s&gs_upl=0l0l0l9497l0l0l0l0l0l0l0l0ll0l0&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.,cf.osb&fp=7320b5f67b1fc46a&biw=1280&bih=695 #2 is the taliban stoning and #1 is the mentally diseased white guy who did it caues he was a victim of his wife screwing around on him. RIGHT RIGHT.. honour doesn't matter, right your honour?
  22. The key point is that it helps cops know when to send the swat team in when responding to 911 calls. and who might have a real gun vs. a fake gun. also if a armed robbery occurs you have a list of suspects.
  23. This its an american version of Canada's Wonderland. Macleans had another idea on it http://www2.macleans.ca/2011/11/24/what%E2%80%99s-keeping-windsor-awake-at-night/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cVk0YBjgdvE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jYbZ0gbaobM It may be an underground railroad.
  24. Someone needs to build a sound barrier I think. Feds are gonna need to cough up some dough for a sound barrier if the soundwaves are being transmitted through the ground? None the less I wonder if the city can fine zug industries for noise bylaw violations? Zug Island http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zug_Island http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/windsor/story/2012/01/30/wdr-windsor-hum-rumble-zug-island.html "In 2011, the Zug Island area was identified by Canadian scientists as the source of mysterious rumblings and vibrations that have plagued hundreds of area residents with cyclical vibrations reportedly being felt in the ground up to fifty miles (eighty kilometres) away" what are they building a giant tunnel to the center of the earth?
