  1. This should drive a few people over the wall, guess they don`t want to be poor or poorer if the vote Democrat. https://blackamericaweb.com/2016/08/11/entire-black-church-in-north-carolina-endorsing-donald-trump/?fbclid=IwAR0iSfA5kolzcPSAbhJhsBhOfLg4KAuvlt1Jy6gLMlJB0T2CkAfeaW2DIno
  2. A Bill has passed in Iran allowing men to marry adopted daughters, provided they’re 13+ which literally legalizes rape of a minor. How can they justify that, even in Iran.
  3. If that is true, then Ontario is in big trouble, our health care system is the pits. I was put on a wait list just to see an ortho surgeon in May, with an appointment in June 2020. A friend of ours waited 3 years for a knee replacement. Welcome to health care rationing. I lived in Toronto most of my life but after retiring we moved to a small town, green and bucolic but crime is heading this way as we had a break in and assault in town recently not committed by a local.
  4. I don't the gun violence in Toronto has anything to do with refugees and I don't think more hoops or community centres will fix it. Education and better jobs will so how to keep them in school, and out of gangs, so how to get them jobs is a big issue. Education is pretty much equal here so there's no excuses for not getting a good education at least ending at high school. Union President McCormack a while back said that a lack of police officers is the main reason for increased gun violence and also blamed the new carding rules. Hand guns are allready restricted and require special permits for transportation. I'm not sure that the 'Ferguson effect' is happening in Toronto (police will not step in until shooting over), but I'll bet there is some effect. The big majority of illegal guns come from the U.S. so how to stop the smuggling as they obviously can't stop every car crossing the border. The hug a thug approach won't work IMO but job and skills training mightthe Eaton Centre shooter was out on bail and house arrest on gun charges when he shot and killed people so - no bail for gun related charges is a start. Maybe it's just a fact of life in Toronto now and we should get used to it.

"Sharper knife control" is a rather unfortunate combination of words.

Khan deserves full blame for the situation in London as he could have done something about it long before it got out of hand. Instead he wasted time grandstanding on twitter about things entirely irrelevant to his mayoral role. Clearly he's not investing enough time in his job and hopefully Londoners will take note. But then, maybe not... they elected him.

  5. Exactly, and no one wants to address the causes of many of the issues facing Europe today, they would rather call names, but anti Muslim migrant sentiment has not developed without reasons, which people in Europe are living. Canada seems some of it but not on the same scale as we don't have the demographics. A German study based on data that Merkel’s gov't tried to hide has confirmed statistically what has been said by many: The swarm of migrants into Germany (and all of Europe’s) has caused a crime wave. It's in German if anyone cares to translate it. https://www.zhaw.ch/storage/shared/sozialearbeit/News/gutachten-entwicklung-gewalt-deutschland.pdf Five asylum seekers aged between 17 and 22 have been convicted in a court in Austria of raping a 13-year-old girl. https://www.krone.at/1972461 The incident occurred in October of last year and saw the 13-year-old girl meet the five asylum seekers at the central railway station in Graz. This isn't to say that all Muslims or all migrants are criminals they are not, and yes other males commit those crimes, but it is undeniable that crime and assaults against women have increased. Heck just read about all the swimming pool incidents, grooming gangs and the New Years Eve celebrations. As long as people continue to deny and we allow Islamic Councils to dictate how we speak and think it will get worse.
  6. Gun crime in Toronto is rising, I don't care if they shoot each other but innocent bystanders can get caught in the cross fire. Chief Saunders said they are arresting people but the system puts them right back on the streets. So other than wanting to take away legally owned guns Mayor Tory et al don't seem to have anything to offer; the province wants to fund more cops in problem neighbourhoods and the Feds - well they want to hug a thug and more day care spaces. So what to do, I say bring back the street checks but we know that won't fly, better people get shot I suppose. That and better border control as they are getting the guns across the border somehow. https://torontosun.com/news/local-news/killing-carding-the-deadly-toll-of-putting-street-checks-on-ice As police across the GTA progressively stopped doing street checks over the past five years, gun violence and murders spiked violently, statistics obtained by the Sun through the Freedom of Information Act show. Back in 2013, when the controversial practice known as carding was increasingly coming under fire over racial profiling concerns, Toronto Police conducted 196,907 street checks — a year that saw 22 gun murders. In the five years that followed, street checks dropped precipitously — first to 17,001 in 2014 and virtually none in subsequent years. The city’s cops simply all but stopped doing street checks. Toronto Police have conducted a single street check in 2018, only 25 in 2017 and none in each of the two previous years. Meanwhile, gun violence over that time has escalated rapidly — and not only in Toronto.
  7. Anyone would denounce it, no one supports shootings of any kind, and you know that. People in Sweden are upset though because the women have been told not to go out alone at night so wouldn't be surprised to see blowback. Why should the women have to be afraid to go out, and it's not just there it's happening in Germany and elsewhere. Grooming gangs are still operating in the U.K. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3390168/Migrant-rape-fears-spread-Europe-Women-told-not-night-assaults-carried-Sweden-Finland-Germany-Austria-Switzerland-amid-warnings-gangs-ordinating-attacks.html https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3481882/Women-warned-not-night-Swedish-town-multiple-sex-attacks-foreigners.html Women in a town in northern Sweden have been warned not to walk alone at night in the wake of a spike in violent assaults and attempted rapes. Police in Östersund made the unusual move to ask women not to go out unaccompanied after dark, after reports of eight brutal attacks, some by 'men of foreign appearance', in just over two weeks. Speaking at a press conference on Monday, police said they 'have never seen anything like it in Östersund', a small town in the north of Sweden with a population of just 45,000. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-42557828
  8. Many still support hi, this is going up in all 50 atates
  9. Your free to believe that, as much as am free to believe your schtick is tiresome.
  10. Direct democracy, as in theT rudeau regime triggering the "electoral urgency clause” which I suppose means they aren’t really that interested in democracy. OK.. so… By abusing the "electoral urgency clause", the Liberals have unlimited authority to bypass rules for the nomination of candidates which is obviously a move meant to fast-track 100+ candidates without due process. Apparently they are short on candidates, partly I suppose due to their ethically challenged PMO. 19 Liberal MPs are not running for re-election which is a bit unusual, but also speaks to the shortage of candidates. It appears that they could be sneaking in puppets who only be there to support the PMO and his puppeteer.
  11. No more tiresome then your people's left wing shtick don't you think? IMO the balance of evidence suggests future climate change will be driven by forces mainly beyond Canadians' control, nothing we do will change anything. Developing countries are following a process of industrialization similar what the west went through and naturally they want the same economic/social benefits. Should we try to stop them, if so how? Certainly we should keep our commitment to curb pollution etc. but not at the cost of losing the economic advantage we will need (domestically) in the years ahead needed to weather any climate changes (pun intended) that are emerging as developing countries are industrializing. Good one https://www.therecord.com/opinion-story/6852536-global-warming-is-beyond-our-control/
  12. Oh sure.. I believe you, thousands wouldn't. Muslim author Mohammad Tawhidi shares with CBN News' Sr. International Correspondent George Thomas how America can fight against the threat of radical Islam. As Sri Lankan authorities worry about the potential of more suicide attacks by the group behind the Easter Sunday bombings, one Muslim activist is issuing an urgent warning to Christians around the world about the growing and very real threat of radical Islam. "If Christians don't wake up, if Christians leaders don't wake up, then we Muslims who fled from extremists can't help you anymore," said Mohammad Tawhidi, a Muslim author from Australia. "We tried warning you." https://www1.cbn.com/cbnnews/world/2019/may/muslim-tells-christians-we-tried-warning-you-its-time-to-wake-up-about-threat-of-radical-islam?fbclid=IwAR3TM9ZCGn_whuQiTQ0tLDMUt-bprCZk4fRNShi41_tFOP_AH-OtGGEL_W0 Too bad if you don't like the source, but Imam Tawhidi is becoming quite well known for speaking out against radical Islam. Meanwhile in Quebec, Muslim man burns his ex wife alive... hard to believe anyone would do that. https://www.journaldemontreal.com/2019/08/11/son-ex-arrete-et-ses-proches-sous-le-choc?fbclid=IwAR1YNj_YTGp5jAAh_OqFDx4fWCAN80DdhG7OvlXkNPynIt1YjTopagSYJ2Y Police escort with fire extinguisher
  13. Elizabeth May is bat sh.t crazy, it's that kind of crazy that turns people off. Fortunately Canada is doing okay - no carbon or meat taxes needed thank you. https://www.cbc.ca/news/business/climate-change-moody-s-1.5199652
  14. Imagine living without all our amenities, imagine trying to heat your home in the winter without the fuels. https://wattsupwiththat.com/2019/04/06/what-would-life-be-like-without-fossil-fuels-such-as-gas-and-oil/
  15. I probably should have said herbivore. I'm not calling for total inaction I'm calling out the hysteria and the fact that no matter what we do we can't change the weather or the earth's cycles. Destroy the economy will kill society faster than any climate change will.
  16. Trudeau and McKenna's real environmental legacy? https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/ottawa/federal-provincial-government-quebec-dead-fish-1.5241703 Meanwhile https://www.thestar.com/news/canada/2019/08/09/calls-to-eat-more-plants-less-meat-also-in-line-with-food-guide-mckenna.html also shows that the meat guide was a political act to get us primed up for more taxes. It`s all a trial balloon right now. Again, these crazies want to decide what we eat and you know If Trudeau gets in again, guaranteed he'll introduce a meat tax. Feeding our families will become more expensive as the low income people will be hit the hardest and it will decimate the cattle industry thereby a massive loss of jobs. Min. Catherine McKinnon says you need to eat more plants like she does because of, you guessed it, climate change. Since when are humans omnivores but maybe she experienced evolution differently.
  17. To some extent maybe, but CNN itself has gone off the rails, like the source or not, this gives you an idea of what CNN is up to. MSNBC isn`t any better. https://www.dailywire.com/news/18181/just-how-badly-cnn-collapsing-look-these-numbers-james-barrett They didn`t do a great job moderating the debates either. https://www.rawstory.com/2019/07/the-worst-ive-ever-seen-it-cnn-ripped-for-doing-a-horrible-job-moderating-democraticdebate/
  18. The double standards on Twitter are real as is censoring of conservative speech. Reza Aslan called for genocide against Trump supporters in a tweet ( “eradication” ) but it and other radical language is still up, while others are shut down for much less. e.g. Mitch McConnell's campaign account. Aslan, a CNN contributor, stated there is “no longer any room for nuance” and said that Ivanka Trump is a “white supremacist” despite the fact that they are Jewish.
  19. I used to watch CNN as they were fairly middle of the road but not anymore, they've gone completely off the rails.
  20. Predictions are wilder now than in the past, May says we have to do it before the next election. one guy wants us to poop less and another to use less toilet paper and on it goes. ETA: One person on twitter says that we are denying that there are too many humans who depend on a consumption based society. What is really needed is to get rid of 4 billion people, maybe you know, age based termination of life at age 63 .
  21. This is getting better . Brazilian president says we should poop less to save the planet, every other day is enough.
  22. Elizabeth May says we have to git 'er done before the next election. Better start partying now.
  23. The Russians did it to protect Trump doncha know.

There was a camera, it shut down for 5 minutes to update the drivers. -_-
