  1. Rue... I think you are right.
  2. I used to think that but do we not need a chamber of sober second thought?
  3. Update, the judge has said the father has to give consent... yeah for common sense https://www.thepostmillennial.com/breaking-judge-says-father-of-7-year-old-boy-can-stop-sons-hormone-treatment/
  4. POTSDAM, Germany (Reuters) - Germany's attempt to create a multicultural society has "utterly failed," Chancellor Angela Merkel said on Saturday, adding fuel to a debate over immigration and Islam polarizing her conservative camp.

  5. Trudeau has declared (affirmed) that he will unilaterally rewrite the Parliament of Canada Act to favour his party’s preferred Senate policy (while holding a minority of the seats) which is many things but one thing it’s not is non-partisan. – it is extremely undemocratic but wannabee dictators do that. ( I’m betting Ralph Goodale will be the first appointee). However, an amendment to the Parliament of Canada Act can only be done by a Bill that has to go through the same routine as any other amendment to legislation, it cannot be done through an Order in Council, does Trudeau believe he can just order it to be so? I'm pretty sure the Conservatives won't go for it, will the Bloc and NDP?
  6. For the most part, but the CPC lost 6 seats because of the PPC -

Hey Dougie, if your correct and all of this happens and I am needing to hide my face from the government, from everyone, I would rather be dead. No point in living. Just saying. One rule for all "No Face Coverings" ... It's reminds of the evil KKK.

Fair enough, Teena, but I'm not one to surrender to a tyrannical government.

If I have to go down shooting, so be it, but I'll fight the revolution first.

The government is actually weak, they can be overthrown, there's no reason to quit the field before the fight.

@Argus   don't you know that everyone who disagrees with Antifa or objects to their behaviour is automatically a    put your slur here______________________
As far as the parents go, I'm still inclined to think that closing in that short space of time, was a publicity stunt which worked, they got help.  Doesn't excuse what happened, but it is good to know that Antifa guys where charged, and as far as the son goes, it wasn't his first rodea.

  7. More info here. Only 3 estheticians were awarded compensation of $2,000 but I heard on the radio last night that it was originally more than that but they reduced it because of the online harassment she/he got... really. She/he has two more cases but they are on hold until she pays the estheticians. https://www.thepostmillennial.com/breaking-the-lawyer-who-took-down-jessica-yaniv-explains-the-case/
  8. Not entirely, fewer seats - not so easy to ram stuff thrugh/
  9. PPC did split the vote and gave a riding to the Liberals in at least two ridings I know of. In Richmond Hill. the difference was 112 votes with PPC receiving 507 votes. Also Kitchener Conestoga, - 783 votes for PPC. Harold Albrecht lost by 273. I have read elsewhere that the PPC actually cost the CPC 8 seats which would have resulted in a much weaker Liberal minority.
  10. The one that wins the most seats does always get to govern,The one exception to this precedent was in 1925, when Mackenzie King held on as PM despite the Conservative Party winning more seats in that year’s election. King’s decision was deeply controversial at the time and characterized as a “usurpation” of power. It wound up causing one of the greatest constitutional crises of Canadian political history, the so-called “King-Byng” affair. We won't see proportional rep anytime as the conservatives won the popular vote (so I guess Trudeau is illegitimate eh :)- )
  11. Dearbourn is known for that, all the meat served in their schools is now hal hal. However, I don't think the situation is as bad as you think it is right now, we don't have the demographics, it will be more of an issue as the numbers increase and demands for accommodation increase. and they gain more seats in Parliament. The U.K. is a case in point... http://www.pressandguide.com/news/dearborn-schools-offering-more-diverse-fresher-menu/article_2a74dfb4-c427-11e9-beaa-5b82b51db827.html
  12. I can't get over this case in Texas where a mother decided that her 7 year old boy is really a girl because he liked the movie Frozen. The husband insisted that he's a boy but it went to court and ruled yes, the boy is a girl and he will now be "transitioned" into one. 7 years old, he doesn’t know, it’s heartbreaking. The transition includes puberty suppression, administration of cross-sex hormones, and ultimately surgical removal of reproductive organs and can certainly affect his health down the line. How…. Just how….. https://nypost.com/2019/10/23/texas-jury-rules-against-divorced-dad-trying-to-stop-7-year-old-sons-gender-transition/
  13. Not Peter McKay, how about Pierre Pollivue (sp)
  14. Forgot about him... you are right... 4 years from now maybe..
  15. Trudeau believes he has a 'clear mandate' so we know how that will go, the question is how much will the NDP and Bloc go along with? Meanwhile in Alberta, layoffs continue.
  16. Who would replace him, I can't think of anyone right now other than Lisa Rait who lost her seat. Could we get Rona Ambrose back? Voting for Trudeau has indicated that Canadians condone his many unethical and corrupt actions, it would also indicate that we feel undeserving of better leadership. It is concerning that even though all these lies and deceit have been clearly shown, this guy can win, even a minority. This morning he says he has a 'clear mandate'... no surprise such a narcissistic idiot would think that. Canada is lost, #Wexit is trending
  17. Well, the HRC got this one right... they ruled in favour of the female estheticians, and awarded compensation https://t.co/0oyYVcm0Yc

  19. Good piece here, explaining how Alicia Elliot, Catherine Hernandez, Carrianne Leung, Carol Off and other Canadian 'progressives’ (meaning socialists) are leading a campaign of hate and censorship against a leading Canadian feminist who is reasonable and only speaks out in aid of women. E.g. an abused woman in a shelter for women had to leave in favour of a transwoman who was still a biological male… abused women don’t feel comfortable with a male, trans or otherwise. https://t.co/ENDhMoUJlw

  21. I was beginning to respect Singh, even though I don't like his policies, but he just lost my respect.  "Singh has undone much of the goodwill he generated and has sadly revealed himself to be yet another divisive politician."    He should step down as someone who disrespects a large % of the population cannot be a leader to all people.

He’s a disgusting demagogue.  I lost any respect for him when he issued his Castro tweet a few years ago.  He’s either evil or completely ignorant.

  22. Generally sons means 'all' in this case removing 'sons' is an insult to the war vets who fought for our freedoms Trudeau is on record in 2015 as saying the party with the most seats should govern.
