  1. Yuk... who would want to lurk around there, enough to make me whoops my cookies LOL Okay, I haven't read the thread so if this has been posted before, sorry.... another perspective and some facts on the fighter plan. Issues are not always so black and white. http://www.calgaryherald.com/opinion/vital/4277265/story.html F-35 jet is vital Ignatieff flies off course with threats to kill contract Calgary Herald February 14, 2011 Comments (19)
  2. Say it isn't so, Arianna would never be a 'capitalist piggy' http://dailycaller.com/2011/03/04/huffington-post-contributors-go-on-strike-propose-collective-bargaining/ Huffington Post contributors go on strike, propose collective bargaining By Steven Nelson - The Daily Caller | Published: 8:46 PM 03/04/2011 Ediited spelling
  3. A lot less... but by applauding I meant that they were applauding the misinformation in that piece, they seem to believe that Fox News isn't in Canada and or that SunTV is not coming to Canada - both are. Not to mention that 1) no one has ever been charged under that regulation and 2) it was about the constitutionality of the act, Kennedy Jr. seems not to know any of that. Speaking about Kennedy, I didn't realize how bat sh.t crazy he really is, I read some other pieces and learned today that just recently an earlier piece he wrote had to be retracted. http://retractionwatch.wordpress.com/2011/01/16/salon-retracts-2005-robert-f-kennedy-jr-piece-on-alleged-autism-vaccine-link/ http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/story/2011/02/25/crtc-false-news.html ( strange ? )
  4. Much of the piece is not factual, Fox News is in Canada, but even if he means SunTV, that too has been approved. There are other errors which is too bad because the Americans on there are lapping it up.
  5. The link to the Huff Po piece in the first post is an example of yellow journalism, although the majority of the article is actually demonstrably false.
  6. No it is not, the first link is about the CRTC and 'false news', no mention of SunTV, the second link from Huff Po is a complete farce, I thought it was from The Onion. LOL
  7. The original 'in and out' practice http://communities.canada.com/montrealgazette/blogs/onthehill/archive/2008/04/29/the-original-in-and-out-election-financing.aspx Evidence of how the Liberals and the NDP engage in their own In-and-Out funding efforts http://stevejanke.com/archives/246538.php Interesting perspective on EC's crusade against the Conservatives. http://www.ottawacitizen.com/mobile/iphone/story.html?id=4381443
  8. No different than the "The Paul Martin Government' but these things are only bad when the conservatives do it.
  9. Okay, it's not a 'crisis', a staffer made a mistake and is now gone. I don't think people (other than the opposition) are getting too excited over any of these because they know it's all been done before by the Liberals, they likely see it as simply double standards and faux outrage which gets tiresome - there are far more important issues they should be worrying about. It's just not a major issue, IMO and obviously others feel that way as the polls are still up for the CPC.
  10. Yes, it would be a change indeed...
  11. Your head must be really exploding, you don't seem to accept that people have different opinions than your own I suppose you are not liberal shill or a PURE LIBERAL PARTY HACK though
  12. Of course it will drag on as the opposition has nothing else going for it, no alternatives or anything to offer the voters. All they can do is keep manufacturing that outrage and hope some mud sticks at election times.
  13. As opposed to a Liebral shill, of which there are plenty on here
  14. Yup - danged fascists running the country anyway - All 'Hale' Mussolini
  15. The staffer who sent it out has resigned, not that it will stop the Liberal heads from exploding all over QP
  16. Agreed - but didn't you read that Huff Po article - there is no right wing radio in Canada doncha know
  17. I think the technical term is lawyer and maybe a contract
  18. If the opposition had anything worthwhile to say or present as options to the voters, they wouldn't have to keep manufacturing a crisis  That foaming at the mouth bit they are good at doesn't help either
  19. I have to say that from what I've seen on the news, the behaviour of the protesters in Wisconsin is to say the least, bat crazy and pretty ugly, if this where a tea party protest the media would be all over it. 41 rounds of hollow-point rifle ammunition found outside the state Capitol. http://www.cnn.com/2011/POLITICS/03/03/wisconsin.budget/index.html?hpt=T2
  20. It didn't, it hasn't - it starts around Mid April...
  21. Yup, but would it apply to mothercorp....
  22. The original 'in and out' practice http://communities.canada.com/montrealgazette/blogs/onthehill/archive/2008/04/29/the-original-in-and-out-election-financing.aspx Evidence of how the Liberals and the NDP engage in their own In-and-Out funding efforts http://stevejanke.com/archives/246538.php
  23. Actually, the in and out thing is perfectly reasonable to me as I understand that the Liberals used it for years. It only became illegal when Conservatives used it. Consider also that Elections Canada pressed charges before they supposedly knew that the decision was being overturned. hmmmm
  24. No where is there any evidence that the CRTC's decision or the committee's request which has been asking for years, is tied to SunTV. There maybe speculation and the public may be buying into the media and left wing narrative that it is, but that does not make it so. Again, the committee requested CRTC to make the change long before SunTV's application.
  25. After ignoring the committee's letters for years, CRTC finally relented and said in December it would consider changing the regulation
