  1. It's a sad state of affairs when a columnist is fired for stating a biological fact .

Unless, of course, it's not a biological fact.  In which case, he/she was fired for spreading misinformation.

      Quote

Because biological sex is far more complicated than XX or XY (or XXY, or just X). XX individuals could present with male gonads. XY individuals can have ovaries. How? Through a set of complex genetic signals that, in the course of a human’s development, begins with a small group of cells called the bipotential primordium and a gene called SRY.

      ....\

While this is a small overview, the science is clear and conclusive: sex is not binary, transgender people are real

It's long, but read the whole article - learn stuff that you didn't know about how people develop sexually.

  3. Except the carbon tax and likely any other punitive taxes are not revenue neutral. They do in fact impact low income people the hardest and are certainly causing hardship now for many, including farmers.
  4. You've lost me, I didn't know Mackay had ties to the old social credit, but certainly I would never call Reform ot Alliance anti semitic and hardly communist. Harper wasn't part of social credit party either, he led the United right. Harper spent while a minority Gov't at the behest of the opposition parties. Once he had a majority he stopped that and left a surplus. I'm thankful he stopped David Orchard.
  5. Of course LOL Meanwhile, 'climate change' is more and more of an excuse to impose taxes. I refuse to eat plant based crap which isn't much better than dog food IMO. https://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-51210622 People should cut the amount of beef, lamb and dairy produce they eat by a fifth to combat climate change, a report says. It says public bodies should lead the way by offering plant-based options with all meals. But it says if people don’t cut consumption willingly, taxes on meat and dairy might be needed.
  6. Exactly, but then the U.N. thinks differently, this is dated, but here we have the U.N. dictating who we can accept and who not to reject, but really, what's to stop people from massively invading other countries on the pretext that it's 'climate change'. https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2017/nov/02/climate-change-will-create-worlds-biggest-refugee-crisis What we need is a level of immigration that we can successfully cope with, one that doesn't strain the infrastructure, e,g, housing, on schools and health care, which is allready happening.
  7. If you believe that I can sell you a bridge in Brooklyn. MacKay wouldn't be my first choice, but, as far as the merger went, he did the right thing by being realistic and pragmatic, and, to do what was best for the party. david Orchard was never a conservative, he was just using the party as a vehicle for his own agenda. Orchard was always anti free-trade,and in favour of a merger - a merger that is between the liberals and the NDP to defeat the Conservatives. Maybe Peter MacKay saw the light.
  8. If that's the case then no doubt the Palace has put it's foot down.
  9. According to the Standard she is, and dailymail.co.uk confirmed it, however who knows,. can't post a link with a tablet. their side if the story is on their website.
  10. By george I think you got it. Ms. Merkel is going to give an interview on the Ellen DeGeneres show, pretty weird for someone who wants to avoid the media.
  11. Exactly, disagree with a liberal and it's hate and or racism.
  12. I don't hate anyone, I would also advise you to take the advice of the mod. To not make it personal and quit imputing thoughts etc. To others.
  13. We are doing plenty, it just has no effect because we cannot change the weather/climate. We can clean up pollution, recycle etc. But it won't change anything. If 10s of millions decide to take advantage the west will not cope, society will break down, Europe is allready facing that.
  14. The situation in Europe is heating up as Greeks are demanding that the migrants be removed from the over crowded islands. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7916431/amp/Thousands-Greek-protesters-demand-asylum-seekers-removed-islands.html Italy is telling 500,000 illegal migrants to 'pack your bags). The island, had to stop being “the refugee camp of Europe,” Salvini told reporters. So Europe is overwhelmed yet the U.N. tells us all to be prepared to accept 'climate refugees', so exactly who decides if they are 'climate refugees' and how many more can Europe in particular take before society disintegrates.
  15. Where on earth was this, link please. what coup and what supporters.
  16. Flooding in Brisbane now has been attributed by some to global warming. A flood in1893 Brisbane shows that flooding happened pre global warming.
  17. Democrats rejected results of 2016 and  already laying the groundwork to to reject a Trump win in 2020.

If Trump wins he ought to stand on the podium and thank the Democrats, because it will be because they handed it to him. Which they may very well do. If the progressive wing of the Democratic party gets the platform it wants then Trump will almost certainly get a much bigger win than last time around.

Democrats rejecting the result of 2016...…..

……..is the root to all these carnivals we've been subjected to since the day Trump was sworn to office.

  18. Heavy raining Brisbane is noe "climate change" Brisbane 1893
  19. The media should give them their wish, no pics no publicity, no recognition, make them nobodies.
  20. No one group should be given preferential treatment in public housing, especially at the expense of a disabled person unable to find housing. ETA: While this practice appears to be legal or at least condoned by city council, it does raise the issue that accommodations for cultural and religious groups are limiting access to affordable housing
  21. The media et al lied, it was a peaceful rally of 22,000 , only one arrest of a woman wearing a face covering which was banned, they even picked up their trash. Guess that's why Antifa couldn't disrupt .
  22. Shoveling a whole lot of global warming this morning.

  23. I think Canada paying for security is a moot point now that they have lost their HRH and public funding, Canada should not be in the hook. I'm not clear on whether or not he will still get the 2 million a year from daddy's Duchy of Cornwall revenue. OK, this says they will still get it.. yikes, 2 million a year for what... What - me worried says Harry. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7902807/Prince-Harry-Meghan-expected-getting-2-3m-Duchy-Cornwall-cash-Charles.html https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-51163865 I was a bit worried for them for a while..
  24. CA is right on this point, it always ends up being personal. Meanwhile in Morocco, a TV channel taught Muslim Women how to cover-up their black & blue marks after beatings by their husbands. Remember this when anyone tries to insinuate sharia into your country and convince you 'sharia" is compatible with the West. The channel did lose their licence over it https://www.enca.com/africa/morocco-tv-channel-censured-over-makeup-tutorial-for-abused-women

Cities are an abomination of desolation. They are the reason the world, environment, animal life are doing poorly. That is where your industrial filth belches out, and the toxic sludge runoff made of what we truly are.

No, there’s no time to change the road we’re on. We’re on the escalator to hell.

Massive immigration will only add to that, and put more pressure on housing prices/rents

I think this should be a thread, should I start it elsewhere?
