      While this is a small overview, the science is clear and conclusive: sex is not binary, transgender people are real.

    Except the carbon tax and likely any other punitive taxes are not revenue neutral. They do in fact impact low income people the hardest and are certainly causing hardship now for many, including farmers.

    You've lost me, I didn't know Mackay had ties to the old social credit, but certainly I would never call Reform ot Alliance anti semitic and hardly communist. Harper wasn't part of social credit party either, he led the United right. Harper spent while a minority Gov't at the behest of the opposition parties. Once he had a majority he stopped that and left a surplus. I'm thankful he stopped David Orchard.

    If you believe that I can sell you a bridge in Brooklyn. MacKay wouldn't be my first choice, but, as far as the merger went, he did the right thing by being realistic and pragmatic, and, to do what was best for the party. david Orchard was never a conservative, he was just using the party as a vehicle for his own agenda. Orchard was always anti free-trade,and in favour of a merger - a merger that is between the liberals and the NDP to defeat the Conservatives. Maybe Peter MacKay saw the light.

    We are doing plenty, it just has no effect because we cannot change the weather/climate. We can clean up pollution, recycle etc. But it won't change anything. If 10s of millions decide to take advantage the west will not cope, society will break down, Europe is allready facing that.

      If Trump wins he ought to stand on the podium and thank the Democrats, because it will be because they handed it to him. Which they may very well do. If the progressive wing of the Democratic party gets the platform it wants then Trump will almost certainly get a much bigger win than last time around.

    No one group should be given preferential treatment in public housing, especially at the expense of a disabled person unable to find housing. ETA: While this practice appears to be legal or at least condoned by city council, it does raise the issue that accommodations for cultural and religious groups are limiting access to affordable housing
