  1. Sharia Law ignores any countries laws. Muslims follow only God's Laws. Radical Muslims do have any Civil Law.Women being legally systematically marginalized in my community is my business. I am always careful when passing mosques, some of the people seem nice but other times they do not look friendly. When people leave Church they are smiling, when they leave the mosque they do not look happy which makes me very nervous. I live in Toronto, not Halton.
  2. No you cannot. Only Catholics can go to Catholic elementary school. 1/2 hour of Catholic religion class a day plus the first four sacraments are done in Catholic elementary school(other than baptism which is done as an infant). Catholic elementary school runs to grade 8. There is no middle school for Catholics. The next sacrament is marriage so it largely doesn't affect high school aged children which is why I suspect they open it up to anyone as long as they show respect for the Catholic religion and take the required religion classes.
  3. Wrong, Wrong and Wrong. We'd have women's rights being trampled upon if Sharia Law was enacted. It would be awful.
  4. I'm going to the Doctor today which will bring me going right past the mosque. I will go quickly. Yesterday a man leaving the mosque said hello to me, I also said hello. Nothing else happened. My fear is slightly less today.

No, I am not that poster. Please stop abusing me in this way.

  5. I don't see how being critical of subsections within these groups constitutes "bashing". Are we all supposed to sit by and stay quiet no matter what outrageous things members of these groups may do? That doesn't sound productive to me. edit-sp.
  6. Having a conversation and stating my opinion isn't trolling. Just because some people don't agree with what I am saying doesn't make that trolling.
  7. Spending union dues to listen and support terror groups and the release of convicted terrorists is wrong. This is a simple matter.
  8. Spending union dues to go to an event such as this isn't a simple matter? Sure seems simple.
  9. This sounds like a reasonable solution to me. If people cannot live properly within society in general then they should be removed and housed in an area where the police can keep a close eye on them. Have all the bad people in one area makes sense. As a disabled person I would feel safer knowing that the bad people are in "scum village" instead of trying to make me into a victim. Let's see how it works out.
  10. I am not admitting to being a troll at all nor am I disruptive. It's not my fault that people in chat find what I am talking ab out more interesting than other topics. if no one thought my topics were interesting they wouldn't respond. If you feel that my chat is breaking the rules simply cut and paste and email it to the moderator team.
  11. I don't do it on purpose it just so happens that what I talk about is very interesting to people. It must be or they wouldn't respond to me at all. Bonam barely ever engages me in the chat room, he has it mastered. I think he is tired of talking about the Islamist situation.
  12. Sorry, I type slow. I didn't see that response before I started my post. I think it's a secular holiday now really, just like Easter. Those that choose to make it mean more can but it isn't the sole reason for the holiday anymore. Every year there is usually some sort of outrage in the news targeted at Christmas but I haven't seen much of it yet this year.
  13. Cybercoma, you just dislike it that I have the ability to take over the room and control the conversation as I see fit. people take notice and respond to me, that isn't my fault. If I was saying such interesting things perhaps they wouldn't chat with me.
  14. My post to you has nothing to do with Christianity. If you don't want to answer that is fine. I'm not really a Christian either, I was baptized as a child and went to Sunday School as a child but that's about as far as my Christianity went. So I'll try one more time, if you don't want to answer just say so so I won't waste my time. We celebrate Christmas the same way as Mighty AC does.In your home, do you celebrate Christmas in the traditional sense of calling it Christmas , having a tree, presents, etc or do you call it Solstice?
  15. You didn't answer my question. So when raising your children you didn't have a Christmas tree, presents and all that type stuff with them? I'm not trying to start an argument and I'm not trolling. I just want to try to understand. There is no need to be defensive, I'm not being partisan.
  16. Disgusting. no other words for it, just disgusting. These people should be ashamed of themselves.
  17. What surprises me is the amount of people that have big suvs that think they are invincible and they don't need to slow down. The same ones that pass you are the same ones you see in the ditch 10 miles up the road.
  18. You raised your children by teaching them it's not Christmas time but solstice? I am merely curious about alternative parenting methods.
  19. I want Canada to remove itself from the UN. It does nothing good for the west. It only serves the worlds despots.

  21. Yes, I agree, can this please be looked into and perhaps implemented.
  22. Wonders what is going on inside the mosque near my house when the music plays and people come to the music. It reminds me of the pied piper nursery rhyme.

I don't have a gimmick.I'm deathly afraid of some Muslims, afraid they will prey on my weakness as a disabled person.I see what is happening on the news and it scares me that this is what is happening in Canada too, the extremism is most scary. Many young people are becoming radicalized by online videos. It's scary.

3 of the 4 people who suicide bombed the London Metro were UK born.Another UK born Muslim stabbed a MP because he supported the war in Afghanistan. These young ppl were influenced and taught by online video, most by US cleric Anwar al-Awlaki.

  23. I like to think that the Christmas season can mean a number of things to a number of people. About the shopping and spending, I only see that as a problem to people who have self control issues otherwise it's business as usual. To Christians it's the day that Jesus's birth is celebrated not that he was actually born this day. To most people however it's just a secular holiday and an opportunity to get together with friends and family and it's a magical time for children. Gifts are often given and I don't see any harm in this myself. I also don't see what benefit it is to rob children of the magic of Christmas just to fulfill someone's own political ideology. Just seems selfish to me. Christmas is nice with the Christmas trees and the lights and all the Christmas movies and animated specials on. I like to think this time of year would make everyone be a little nicer to their neighbors. Even if just for a little while.
  24. I don't know what eta means. But when I first joined here many ppl called me mr canada so I read some of his posts and his ideas are differnt from mine. He lives in Halton Hills, I live in Toronto. I am disabled, he is not. Many differences. He seems very right wing I am in the middle and left wing with many issues.
  25. I don't see how it's possible to separate the two things. Since any work done by the government can also be seen as doing work for the party. I don't see it as being cut and dry.
