Vote against immigration bill or else, Liberals told
Borg replied to Qwerty's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Dion and his cronies will be the downfall of this country yet. Borg -
Are we talking about Afghanistan? It is NATO - not the UN. We are there because the libs demanded a place in the line up. We have increased our presence due to the Conservatives and Ranger Rick / The Big Cod / Gen Hillier - and I support the increased presence. We can argue that under a differrent thread. The US of A are major players as despite NATO being a "coalition force" the Euros as a whole usually have to have their asses saved by the standard few - US of A, Brits, Oz and canucks. Nothing has changed and likely nothing will ever change. NATO voted to do this - the west jumped in as required under the NATO agreement and the Euros - as to be expected - became the weak sisters. Rather than point fingers at individuals, it is true that bad things happen in battle. I would never ever state categorically that either side is completely innocent. There is good and bad and just down right ugly. I happen to have most of the T-shirts. I would say this though - If the Isrealis lay down their arms what will happen? Genocide? Most likely. If the the Palestinians laid down their arms what will happen? Peace? Most likely. However, the fact remains there are many here who would gladly see genocide - and I believe you to be one of those people kuzadd - either that or a troll who loves to maintain and promote a one sided view - perhaps even from a stage in the nearest mosque. In the end - If you stop kicking the bee hive, the bees will stop stinging. I wonder if that will ever happen with people like a truly evil and dispicable animal like Yunis al-Astal, a Hamas MP and cleric - who lives to promote hatred and killing and war - all in the name of power. Not religion! Power! Ask him what he would do if Isreal laid down her weapons. If you agree with his answer - then you are the problem and certainly not part of a solution. It is his way or death. Not a very nice person. Are you related perhaps? Borg

Independence? They have it - freedom of movement, freedom to live as they want - they also have the right to work and to live - or the right to do nothing. No one stops them from being and doing as they want - except themselves and their corrupt leadership. Where is the argument? I think it is time to change your name to "Tall Horse". You sit upon it and pontificate - yet do not ask the indian to exercise personal responsibility. Just another reason why you are so easily discounted. Borg

No one in canada is responsible for the maintenance of a life style - be it good or bad - for others. It is up to the individual to make their way in the world. Seems to me you are on a tall horse. Time to come down to reality. Nothing will change until you and others like you step down to reality. Let me see - another big criminal bust in Cornwall again - hmmm ...... indian cigarette smugglers. Drugs violence and more - all brought to you on the nearest reserve. While many live in squallor the leaders do very well. Perception is reality and the common perception is the indian is creating his own problems. I am happy to oblige - be aware of this - if you believe me to be so wrong - then a large number of canadians are also wrong - what makes you so right? Have a great day. I know I will. Borg

Pliny - it is early in the morning and I have yet to have my first coffee - thanks for the chuckle - bang on the mark. It is almost like those so called professional grief counsellors - a useless exercise in self examination that is not considered successful by the expert unless tears flow. Generally I tell the experts to F%^k Off unless it has career implicationas - then I do the minimum to get rid of the smarmy, limp wristed, weak dick, clinging b%^tards. Cheers Borg

Actually the reason they are in such trouble is not because of the whitemen - it is because they allow their leadership to run rampant and they actually believe their elders that the old ways are better. Sorry, the old ways are old and gone and cannot be brought back - time to move on. Your response - almost an attack - just show you are so full of schite your eyes are brown. I suppose that IS an attack - but then again if no one demands they join society whose fauilt is it if they kill each other off? Crime, drugs, alcohol - I am not involved by personal choice - they are no different and I am tired of others making excuses for them. Remember - it is usually indian on indian violence. So - I am prepped to welcome them on board - but if they want to be idiots and kill themselves off - then be my guest. Time for them to straighten up and jump om board - or be left in a mud bowl of their own creation. They have all the advantages just waiting for them - they just need to exercise some "personal responsibility". Where is their leadership? Living in luxury while the rank and file live in squallor? They vote those so called elders into power - therefore they reap what they sow. Borg

As I wear the uniform I hope you do not include me in your highly inaccurate statement. If the truth hurts why not tell it? As for folks killing themselves - happens every day and does not get reported. The military is not perfect and the government is not perfect. And the soldier is for darned sure not perfect. But if you - as a VOLUNTEER - take the Queen's schilling - you sign a blank cheque that includes everything up to and including your life. Take the schilling and prepare for the risks - or stay home. If you have a problem see the unit Doc and get referred to a shrink. It is a simple short walk to the medical clinic and it is VERY confidential today. Heck you cannot even go on deployment without a nod from the social worker, the shrink and the doc. They are the only three - that I can think of off the top - that can stop you from going with no explanation required. And yes they make mistakes - hmmmm ..... medical misadventure again? Is it sad that someone take their own life? Some might say so. Personally I think it is the cowards way out - the only people to suffer are the family and friends. Then again perhaps that was the purpose? But the person committing suicide does not have the enjoyment of sitting around and watching the end result. Yell at me all you want - I have many chinks in my armour - this is not one of them. Borg

Canadian's Attitudes Towards Immigrants
Borg replied to M.Dancer's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
You may very well be correct, I am simply using the data presented here Borg -
Whiteman is bad - whiteman gives - whitmen takes - indian always suffers. One never knows what or who to believe any more. Too much rhetoric and too many people filling their own agenda's with money, power and so on. In the end if things are to improve, the indian needs to take some personal responsibility. Seems to me their own leaders are doing quite well. To date there may be some who are taking the responsibility - however all I seem to read about is how tough it is on the reserve, how bad the gangs are, how poor the people are, how badly they have been treated, how rotten the white guy is on an overall basis. I always think to myself - if you do not like your circumstance - change it! I am not reading or hearing a lot about how the indian is taking control of the situations on the reserve, how the indian is making good use of grant monies to build a life for his/her people or how there is a move afoot to improve anything. I am quite tired of it all. After all this is all because some people - long before I was born - are supposed to have done some bad things to other people who are also long dead. All well within the rule of law and acceptance in THAT day. It would not and could not happen today - and I am fine with that. But to use excuses from more than 100 years ago on the whole - seems suspect to me. I suppose you could look at various nations around the world and compare the same thing - once at war with each other and now trading partners. Time for the indian to sort out their own house first - then make the small steps forward in the journey to life in this world - the same world they have been shutting out for generations. I am not to blame for their problems and I do not believe any other person alive today and living on the economy is to blame - best of my knowledge no one in my family has ever done anything to insult or harm an indian - yet more than a couple of times I have had family harmed by the noble savage - most notably - once when stopping to help at a roll over just outside Calgary. Imagine - 60+ year old man - my father - stopping to help and being beat up by a couple of young men claiming to have been run off the road by a truck - yet Dad was driving a VW Jetta. As a whole I think the indian needs to look in the mirror and see what is transpiring - then straighten up his own mess. If and when that happens I might have some small sympathy for their so called "plight". Otherwise the status quo is fine with me. I am busy enough trying to support my own family and pay my own bills and keep my own employees happy and keep some small parts of the familiy businesses running smoothly. I have no time or truck for those who will not take responsibility for their actions or their plight. Perhaps it is time others sent this message to the indian. Borg

Canadian's Attitudes Towards Immigrants
Borg replied to M.Dancer's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Could not agree more. A quick AND VERY SHORT line up of the reasons this happens: Taxpayers paying to support multiple spouses in Hog Town with welfare payments Taxpayers paying for english lessons Taxpayers paying for addition medical expenses from imported additional family members Taxpayers paying to support medical expenses of imported guests carrying HIV Taxpayers paying for additional crime control from imported guests - example Black guests in Hog Town - I will call them by colour - the police and media will not. Taxpayers paying for spurious human rights issues Taxpayers paying for housing for imported guests Taxpayers paying to support canadians of convenience when the run into trouble outside this country Taxpayers paying to support line jumpers and supposed refugees Taxpayers paying ....... And the beat goes on. If you come to this country and cannot support yourself within one year of arriving you should be tossed out on your ass. If you are tossed or do NOT pay taxes to this country you do not get a canadian passport. Find another one - we do not want you or need you. If that means visible minority - then so be it - if they cannot be a boon to this country they are a drain on our wallets and therefore not an asset but a liablitiy. 23% are a net asset to this country? That means 77% are not worth retaining. Borg -
I am, leaving my family again - this time for a year in the middle east. No six month tour for this lucky puppy - but I did sign the blank cheque and I will honour it. This whole thing is BS - promoted by someone with either an axe to grind or looking for an angle to sell paper. Tempest in a tea pot. Just a little wind in the trees. People have been killing themselves for millions of years - if they are serious about it, you are not likely going to stop them. Why don't we talk about all those real big - high number - serial killers - killers called doctors. Highly trained people who kill hundreds if not thousands every year in this country. Hell even Stats Canada keeps the numbers. It is called "medical misadventure". Now that would be a story. Or perhaps there is a side line to this thread - a little anti military? Borg

I hope you have the ability to afford triple pricing on food, quadruple pricing on heating oil, and even more for general transportation. Building materials made, harvested or dug from the ground in Canada will drive your housing costs up as well. Your comments show how little you truly know about how this country survives. Then again you likely live in a chicken coop for people on the 12'th floor and have the ability to walk to work. Try mass transit 100 miles from even a small community - does not exist. Try delivering any natural good or food to YOUR market in an electric car. This country survives by eating, travelling and living in shelter brought in from far away. Your Kiwi fruit may also go to 10 bucks a fruit. Next you will increase my taxes so you can enjoy your own life style. As for environment - until you get the Chinese and Indians to control their polluting ways - tiny little Canada will be irrepairably hurt if your hopes and dreams are realized. I bet your job depends upon oil - even in a small way. Your ignorance must make for a truly blissfull life. What colour is your sky? Borg

France shocked by attack on Muslim war graves
Borg replied to kuzadd's topic in The Rest of the World
Actually I was simply pointing out that this and other similar types of criminal activity are going to become more common if only because they - the French - are not really happy with how things are going in their country. If you did not like it you can take a long walk off a short pier. Over to you for further insults camarade Borg -
France shocked by attack on Muslim war graves
Borg replied to kuzadd's topic in The Rest of the World
While I do not agree with these actions, and would never condone them - this is simply another example of the pendulum swinging the other way. The French are getting weary of what is happening in their country. The fringe element will lead the way. I suspect others will follow as time progresses. Borg -
In this case - and I am seldom one to not make a sensational or pointed comment - I would agree with you. Simply not on. Borg

If someone gets a chance to visit a place like this, and they are not moved - well, I would wonder about them - and not in a positive way. The fact is that a visit to Auschwitz, Dachau, Buchenwald - the area or the remaining buildings - or any other killing factory opens ones eyes to how bad things really were. Makes one talk in whispers when they walk around those sites. Borg

Liberals Block Publication of Quebec Candidates

They do not have the money to follow it up in court - and no wealthy backers want to spend any more money on a losing cause. Borg -
Only the ruling party in power - the government - needs to go. I cannot imagine what value any opposition party could add to the discussion other than to embarass the feds in power. Yapping lap dogs are usually never welcome at a formal dinner. Borg

Are there any capable muncipal governments?
Borg replied to Argus's topic in Local Politics in Canada
Well I must admit we also own a little raw land in B.C. - 1/4 section with power to the boundary and oiled road - we pay almost 200 bucks a year for that place - but then again it only has mountain and valley views and a real nice creek with trout in it - and one small but very pretty log cabin with no power hooked to it. One raw quarter in Saskatchewan is being farmed by a neighbour and I think we pay about the same as the B.C. place. We certainly see more income from the land rent than we pay on annual taxes. Ontario taxes - especially in the now infamous green zone - punishing - got to love the socialists. Residents love to bitch and moan and then do nothing about it. Hell most could not find city hall if it was attached to their ass let alone even think about attending a budget meeting so they could speak their piece. 99.99% of people are sheep and council knows it - leaders lead (in the direction THEY choose) and followers complain. Residents get the government they deserve. Do not like it? Change it - or better - run for a position and suck up a few tax dollars for yourself. Borg -
Convictions? Actually I am beginning to think it is - ever so slowly - opening up the eyes of the sheeple of canucklehead land. Sometime soon - the pendulum will swing the other way. Those who use the "system" to promote their agenda will not likely appreciate the push back from Joe tax payer. To answer your final question - it is in fact the left wing combined with our objective media. Despicable groups as a whole. Borg
