Precident has already been set. Religious beliefs trump law in this country. So kwiturbichin'. Laws are now applied as to your beliefs - if not - simply apply to the human "righteous commissions" and get things changed to suit your personal situation. It costs nothing - the taxpayer covers your expenses. Everything is free!! Perhaps it is best that you to explore a religion that will fit your life style in "new canada" - the land of inequality under the rule of law. You too can have many wives and not be required to obey laws that are repugnant to you and any who might want to join you. You too can live for free on the backs of the tax payer. All in the name of tolerance and people wonder why canada stands for nothing but tolerance, Borg

I see margrace has successfully tossed a grenade in the room and walked away. Surprized or not - no one has taken her to task - instead they have started blathering about past and present practise and theory. Well done margrace you have showed your true colours again. Borg

She is not a personal friend of the trudeau, mulroney or montreal "elite" clan. She is likely white and does not have a lot of money. She does not have political pull within her own community. Or something else. I am sure there are many people incarcerated around the world who do not have the support of the canadian government. But we make a point of rescuing canadians of convenience in the middle east. The world is not a place where all are treated equally. More proof that mexico is not as safe as it once seemed. Are you doing anything? Borg

Zekes Exempt From Motor Cycle Helmet Law

Quite alright Muddy - I am often considered a person who is racist and conducts personal attacks simply because I am direct. Fact is the law must be applied equally if it is to be a law. I see it is not to be. How canadian. Borg -
This is the second time margrace has been asked to prove her outlandish statement. I suspect she not only will not - she cannot. Simply attempting to stir the pot with no care about the truth. Anyone but Harper is her creed. Borg

Will Stephane Dion become Prime Minister?
Borg replied to 1967100's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Do not know where you get that info - perhaps some proof or are you trolling? Dion is an absolute wimp and makes mr. dithers look real good. Best thing the libs could have done is bring him to the front as leader. Borg -

Unless of course you do that poll in Alberta. I for one would rather piss on his grave than talk highly of him. But then again he ruined many in my family with his medling in the oil biz. Trudeau - the name alone brings many in the west to the boiling point. Borg -
Many do not get family day. In fact I do not know anyone in my business that will get family day. family day was nothing but a poorly thought out political piece of bad management. Waste of time and money. Thoughts on M'ginty? A mouse of a man who I would not cross the street other than to tell him to take a hike. He will be the ruination of this province. His "all in the name of tolerance" will create a wide divide that will lead to even more racial intolerance. I find the man to be really quite disgusting. Borg

I think you better prove this - somehow I think you are twisting things to prove your dislike of the cons. Pony up the proof or withdraw the accusation. Tsk, tsk ....... Borg

Interesting comments. China is planning to spray paint the grass so it looks bright green - tests completed and deemed successful according to my neighbour who just returned from a business trip. I notice one of the largest meat producers in north america is now headed there to produce chicken for north america. Tyson will grow the food there and ex/im port to canada for us to eat. Saw it in the Western Producer. I figure we should see the first shipments start in mid - 2010. Clean air and clean water and cheap, highly skilled labour? Good food? Not! Borg

Sure, and we have sold it all to foreign ownership - all in the name of tolerance. Ask the auto working and manufacturing folks in Ontario how they feel about things right now. Borg

Canadians need to control immigration GREATLY

You forgot to add the great and I might add very successful lib experiment - social re-engineering. Canada has already begun the rapid slide due to "tolerance" at all cost. Borg -

We have already passed that point. Canada stands for nothing but tolerance - to the point of idiocy. Borg -
As I said - all in the name of tolerance. We avoid your "intolerance" at all cost to canada and canuckleheads. This country - because of people who think like you - has rapidly begun to stand for nothing. Borg
-
Blah and blah. To the vistor go the spoils. Tough to imagine why we as canuckleheads would honour this man - unless it is to be politically correct and pacify those who were on the losing side and are now taking the government schilling. I refuse to apologize for my ancestors actions and I see no reason why we should honour a person such as this. Borg

Who's bitching? The question was asked and it was answered. Pretty straight forward. As for quality of country - well there was a time when I would have agreed - not so sure now. Borg

"For the most part?" Having had the opportunity to dodge real bullets while on exchange with about 800 of them not more than 15 years ago I can assure you that you know not of what you speak - unless of course every one of them was not a devout member of their religion. And they were turbaned. All tied up on the top point of their head. And covered with a cloth. Every one of those soldiers wore a helmet. And every one of them made a point of wearing it when we were being fired upon. And for that matter every fighter pilot in their air force wore one as well as well. Come to think of it so did the helicopter pilots. Cannot speak of the transport types - never saw any in the front. I suppose not one of those guys was a devout member of the religion. That PIOUS person is nothing more than an opportunistic liar out to make a name for himself and his lawyer. You and your ilk will support him for his "religious ways". And we will fall for it. All in the name of tolerance. After all, it is the canadian way. Borg -
Is publishing Danish cartoons in Canada a "crime"?
Borg replied to normanchateau's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I figure he is just backing out - his reasons are not truthful. He was likely amazed at the backlash - and the fact that someone would not back down - unusual for canukleheads who always want to be thought of as kind people with an open mind. Now, who is going to pony up the cash to re-imburse Ezra? THAT is the real issue. He gets pulled in front of this left wing kangaroo court - and he has to pay. Like him or not - Ezra was abused by our system. Win, lose or draw - the lawyers win - as is usual. It might be any one of us tomorrow. I believe that this racially backed, religiously backed charge laid against Ezra by this so called religious leader should be paid for - paid by the person laying the charges. Never happen - all in the name of tolerance. Borg -
Should Canada Recognize Kosovo Independence?

canada needs to stay the hell out of this one. Putin is going to get busy. Borg -
Why Is Canada So Poor? Well it has a huge debt generated initially by that horrible little man - PE Trudeau - so glad he is not around anymore. As are the vast majority of people who live west of ontario. He was the worst thing that happened to canada in the last half of the 1900's. That debt was made larger and larger by even more liberal governments. Some cons but mostly libs. Taxes were generated by all governments to feed the socialist people of this country that cry out for more and more government money. We invite people into this country that are now - in my belief - a net expense - people who live here for minimal time and collect various government pensions, people who require language training and job training, people who refuse to integrate into society and live in cultural enclaves - then demand services in their language, people who come here to collect the pensions and then leave with that money to live in other countries, extended family members who come here for the free medical care, people who are Canadians of convenience (how many 1000's in Leb?) and come here when sick otherwise live elsewhere - and my new favourite - hog town islamics collecting my tax dollar so they can screw three additional women and have kids fast enough to keep fresh welfare money flowing into their bank account. Worst of all - we cannot even find those who have - after many years - been ordered deported. Unions who demand raises to the point we lose jobs. Companies who are headquartered outside our borders who take our money out of country. Prices on the rise due to energy cost increases even though we are a net exporter. Housing costs and land costs rising. Medical and professional people leaving for better lives - they see what is happening here and realize they cannot change it. Failing infrastructure from coast to coast. And the beat goes on. If life and the economy are so good - why should the average joe be required to work now - until - early July for the all the taxes to governments? The only way to encourage growth is to allow the salaried person to actually keep some money in theri pockets. Incredibly poor productivity because of the culture of entitlement. You eat an elephant one bite at a time. canada is slowly being eaten by those who take out more than they put in. and no one truly is willing to yell "stop". All in the name of tolerance. That is why we are poor. Borg

Zekes Exempt From Motor Cycle Helmet Law
Borg replied to rbacon's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
This is not a religious issue - it is being faked as one. Otherwise every military person in India is not a member of this religion. Unfortunately every canucklhead here is willing to argue the point as religion based - when in fact in his own country of origin he would be wearing a helmet if in the military. It is simply him - creating the issue and lying about the reason. Laws are for everyone or for no one. There is no middle ground. He does not like it - tell him to pound salt and walk. Borg -
Nothing like honouring a frigging traitor. Glad it back happened then - they were not afraid to hang a traitor - now-a-days he would be sitting at dinner with the likes of the Trudeau or Dion family. Canada the apologist. Afraid to stand for much of anything. All in the name of tolerance. Borg

There have been 4 gun shooingin the US
Borg replied to margrace's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Boy are you living in the past. Stats can be made to say anything. Home invasions on the way up, violent crime up or down depending on who you believe, knives the weapon of choice, canada is becoming the child porn world capital, drugs climbing, and gangs moving in and the beat goes on. You are tooting a horn that does not deserve to be tooted. Typically canuckleheads are quite arrogant about their wonderful country and tend to love to rub the southern neighbours nose in it. Hmmmm..... Hog Town Ontario is a more dangerous city than many in the south. Montreal and Vancouver rapidly getting their. Criminals walk and cops waste their time. Blah, blah, blah ....... canada is safe - yup ...... no more so than many small towns south of the border. Borg
