  1. Disease: is an abnormal condition affecting the body of an organism. Addiction: is an abnormal condition of being dependence on a behaviour or substance that affect the body of an organism. The two terms are nearly identical in their meaning, but in context they mean different things.
  2. The country is definitely doing better under Obama than during the Bush regime. Their economy is starting to rebound, they finally have something of a healthcare system (people protesting it is absolutely normal), international image have improve to an extent (Latin America, Europe and some degree to Middle East).
  3. I would do the same lol Sure it may scare the shit out of him, but it wouldn't scare him if he has been paying attention while driving
  4. Correction: God does not hate homosexual acts. He hates people who uses 'his word' to further their own agenda.
  5. Abortion is common in nature, would that mean God permits abortion? If so, why would any creatures have God to answer to if God allowed it? God...a complicated subjective term.
  6. When they return to the Legislature with a new Liberal leader. |
  7. I failed to see what Obama 'lied' about.
  8. I think the Ontario PC and NDP needs to put forward a vote of non-confidence as soon as they can....this political gridlock cannot be in the best interest of Ontarians.

  10. Just because he's right doesn't automatically makes him a westerner.
  11. Was there a referendum question in 2008 that I wasn't sure of? The problem with the Conservatives using the carbon-tax line against the NDP...is that the NDP opposed the very same thing that the Conservatives are accusing them off. Carbon tax and Cap-and-Trade follows two different processes, but ultimately put a price on pollution (something the Conservative currently opposes). I think the Conservatives are experimenting with the idea of carbon sequestration - a poor scheme in my opinion. I see it as a hyper partisan blunder by the Conservatives to scream at the top of their lungs that the NDP will destroy the economy and the Canadian livelihood with the very idea that the NDP opposed - a carbon tax.
  12. I am not sure how useful are national polls because the U.S runs on the College Electoral System. That saying, it may be more useful to look at polls from individual states.
  13. Personally I would pick Rachel Carson because it was all due to her work that launch the awareness of environmental destruction and forced numerous countries to heed her advice (to a degree).
  14. Oh god I'm going to have a field day with this topic Unfortunately I'm tight on time where I am atm - when I get home and start typing...be prepared!
  15. Well a church can lose their charity status if they... "show partisan (showing support or opposition toward any political party or candidate). For example, a church may not encourage members to vote for a particular party or candidate. They should also refrain from anything that even suggests partisanship, such as allowing a candidate to promote him or herself by distributing flyers in the church mailboxes. Second, even when it comes to non-partisan political activity, a charity may not devote more than 10-20% of its total resources to politics."
  16. Hard to tell someone is being (or trying to be) funny without emoticons.
  17. Will the government permit the committee to make amendments? Or is it all just for show?
  18. Would it be possible to suggest opening up the chat to the non-registered users? Some people like going into chatrooms without actually registering...

  20. On the same day Trump took to YouTube in an attempt to blackmail the president via charity, Obama appeared on “The Tonight Show” to explain the source of Trump’s resentment of him. “This all dates back to when we were growing up together in Kenya,” the Hawaii-born Obama dryly told Jay Leno. “We had constant run-ins on the soccer fields. He wasn’t very good and resented it. When we finally moved to America, I thought it would be over.” http://news.nationalpost.com/2012/10/25/barack-obama-explains-source-of-donald-trump-grudge-match-this-all-dates-back-to-when-we-were-growing-up-together-in-kenya/ lol that was hilarious, you gotta admit that.
  21. I think the topic of religions is all based on opinion as there are no empirical science to back it up.
