  1. It's the weekend....do people care about politics on the weekend. That is who endorses who and what not? Beside, I doubt that anything (whether Obama or Romney) campaign does now would make any difference for next Tuesday election.
  2. Science isn't based on opinion - often times science reveals result that surprises scientists! This girl, doesn't know what science is about. You have chosen to ignore the numerous claims against your blog. The way you conducted yourself would make you a complete laughing stock of the scientific community, trust me. Who cares about the date? You do apparently, sad. You didn't...you rejected it before reading the article. Haven't you heard of...idk...reasoning and logic? You don't seem to understand the concept of 'insult' and what constitute as 'insult'. An 'insult' is not something where someone debunk your assumption. Translation: I can't defend myself against the rebuttal so I'll just complain of being bullied. Displaying childish temper + translation = showing scientific evidence. Translation = I don't want to address the counter-argument because I can't. Actually my name means 'slippy'. Your style of logic and reasoning is appallingly abysmal. Then be mature! Your 'source' has nothing to do with the original intent of the argument - chicken or the egg = which comes first. You keep deflecting the argument into something else. So you're not serious in debating? You nailed it on the head! I was pissed but tried to choose my words carefully to avoid a warning This is going to be an endless cycle - the chicken did not come first, otherwise show me a link to a VALID, SCIENTIFIC paper.
  3. No silly, trees can't pay $$$
  4. Probably, she doesn't like it when people present scientific evidence to contradict her 'evidence' from the bible.
  5. So it'll basically be what it already has been - majority repub in the house, majority demo in the senate? How would that spell doom for Obama?
  6. Did you try spelling the member's name correctly?
  7. I don't understand the purpose of your trolling. And you're not even going to address the counter-argument
  8. A poll can be worthless if you don't know how it came to be collected.
  9. How is it 'extremely political'?
  10. My criteria on what defined a religion (must have all 4 criteria) 1) Belief in at least one higher being. 2) Religious scriptures (written or vocal), artifacts or locations that offers a source of religious comfort. 3) Tenets or Creeds that established the behaviour system of the mass. 4) Place of worship (temples, churches, mosque) or pilgrimage at specific times. Therefore Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Scientology, Buddhism and others are religions in my opinion.
  11. If a robbery is in progress and the cops just sitting in the car praying for 5 minutes before attempting to catch them...
  12. The term 'extreme' is arbitrary - beside, doesn't everyone harbours some form of 'extremist' belief?
  13. I think it useless to try educating a robot.
  14. social cost of carbon? Elaborate.
  15. http://fivethirtyeight.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/11/02/nov-1-the-simple-case-for-saying-obama-is-the-favorite/ A must read for anything trying to debate the merit of national polls versus state polls.
  16. You can count? Congratulation! I'm so frigging proud that you can read dates! That's a big step forward to thinking for yourself! Which doesn't address the chicken-vs-egg issue - failed. You don't have a damn clue what you're talking about do you?
  17. Which came first? Chicken or the egg. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2265484/ http://www.cnn.com/2006/TECH/science/05/26/chicken.egg/
  18. Not all environmentalists reject the idea of nuclear power. Let's be honest here, with the high demand of energy out there - wind and solar combined isn't gonna cut it.
  19. I guess Hurricane Sandy would be considered a 'divine slap to the U.S' since insurance companies considered these kind of events an 'act of god' and god is divine...
  20. Ummm anyone considered the idea of nuclear power?
  21. lol that isn't a carbon tax - a carbon tax is much more than a simple 'gasoline tax'. A carbon tax is a fee based on per barrel of oil (or per metric ton of natural gas, or per 'something' of coal) - it would cost companies that uses or manufactured oil based products. I said 'something' for coal because I forgot the unit.
  22. Not a federal carbon tax. The only carbon tax that currently exist in Canada are in the province of Alberta, B.C and Quebec.
