Interestingly, such argument only applies to AFTER whatever is found/discovered - not prior to.

Poll shows NDP losing out to the Liberals
Sleipnir replied to Boges's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I'll be absolutely shock and flabbergasted if Trudeau doesn't win it. Not really, even with Topp in the race - it was still too close to make a call. -

In my opinion Martha looks better than Trudeau on world stage. -
Obama may make criticism of Islam illegal
Sleipnir replied to Mr.Canada's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Link please. Thanks -
Both left and right wing can be equally intolerant of each other's view. Though I am not sure what being poor and disabled have to do with anything

You don't see many politicians (T.V or in person) touching people that much. I bet politicians would take naps during the day while traveling from one destination to the next on buses or airplanes. Yeah and sleep during the day too.

Winnipeg police chief touts prayer to help combat crime
Sleipnir replied to betsy's topic in Religion & Politics
Its based on principle, the police force needs to be secular to ensure that there would be no display of preference of one religion over another. Again, to preach vocally belongs to the nuns, priests, rabbi, imams, etc. -
Poll shows NDP losing out to the Liberals
Sleipnir replied to Boges's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
With the Liberal leadership underway, it was pretty obvious that the NDP was gonna take a slump. The real deal is after the Liberal leadership race when Trudeau settled in as a leader. Then comparing Mulcair and Trudeau as who makes the better option to take on Harper. -
Supply Management & the Death of the federal Liberals
Sleipnir replied to August1991's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
When the Gods Changed, the Death of Liberal Canada http://books.google....ved=0CD4Q6AEwBQ ^^^ A good read. I highly recommend it. -
Honestly it seems that no countries on Earth can be truly considered democratic, just as no countries on Earth can truly be communist.

Did you Support Israel Attack on Palestine
Sleipnir replied to canvenconsulting's topic in The Rest of the World
Which is a secondary reason why I'm trying my hardest to ignore the Israel-Palestine conflict. -
In charge of what? Cleaning the bathroom stalls, teaching kids about racism, or ignoring trivial complaints from attention seeker (in this case, the guy who report it and made a drama out it)?

God’s law versus secular law. Which is moral?
Sleipnir replied to French Patriot's topic in Moral & Ethical Issues
That thread is the exact same as http://www.canadaka.net/forums/religious-issues-f68/god-s-law-versus-secular-law-which-is-moral-t103147.html The topic anyway. -
Well someone finally did it! Someone took Muslims to a HRC
Sleipnir replied to Boges's topic in Moral & Ethical Issues
He just had to say it -
I have a feeling that he was pressure by party insiders to run after Rae announced that he won't be running for leadership. Nearly all(L)liberals jumped on the Trudeau bandwagon after his announcement into the race. Well before the leadership race officially began which tells me that the Liberals are still stuck on the messiah-searching syndrome. The same syndrome they had when they seek out Ignatieff.

You think they would give her an 'accidental' bad haircut as an act of retribution? -
Didn't Trudeau initially wanted to stay home to raise his family? Why the change of thoughts?

Not really...how else would the suspended members appeal their sentence to Greg? -
Then what is the point of doing anything if the outcome has already been determined by God?

Winnipeg police chief touts prayer to help combat crime
Sleipnir replied to betsy's topic in Religion & Politics
1) Legalize the acts of most victimless crime. Would save the time (investigation effort), resources (divert to more pressing priorities) and space (prison) for the authorities to go after real criminals (arsonists, murderers, kidnappers, internet fraud, etc). 2) Go after the source to stop the influencing of people to retort to criminal activities. To go after sources can be in the form of education and raising awareness in the public sphere. Edit: Building more prison and tougher sentences sounds nice and all, but its not the best answer for long term effort to keep the public safe. -
