  1. Yes. Left wing agenda oriented, CBC brainwashed, typical... Canadian Self Hatred. Air American the first left wing radio network in the US failed missereably because "American's couldn't stand to tune in and listen to constant self hatred towards their own country".
  2. I'm sure the killing was an accident. There could have been a group at some larger clubs. I understand that there's some super huge clubs there. I wouldn't know though, I don't travel to those places and go outside the resort for safety reasons. If I did, I know the rules of the game. We all know the types that think their invincible and start trouble. When I heard the story, I honestly thought, man that kid did it to himself. Again, I'm sure they didn't MEAN to kill him. They probably thought they would beat him with a stick and kick him on the ground. If they wanted to kill him they just would have shot/stabbed him. And no, it's no suprise that the corrupt mexican's are covering up the story saying it was a car accident. But what did you expect? (PS - the reason why I don't go sky-diving or white water rafting, or even on low budget amusement rides anymore is because I decided I have bad luck and it's not good to put myself in harms way on purpose. People die every year from one of the above, so why should I play that lottery of death?). On My honey moon, I'm going to France, not Brasil like I always dreamed. My safety comes first.
  3. They were not racist, just stereo types. Big difference. Nothing. I was pointing out that Italians that are young from that area are known to look for trouble and cause fights in Toronto clubs. It's generally accepted as a fact. Well. When you go around a cartel controlled area of Mexica asking around on the streets for property to build a resort, it's as good as a death wish. He should have went as a tourist, enjoyed the weddings, and came home. He should not be doing business with Mexican's or any poor country for that matter. If he does, those can be the consequences. I'm sorry. That was definately looking for trouble. Thinking that your invincable. People get killed for similar things in CANADA all the time. I'm sure the Mexican's didn't really mean to kill him. Mexican's of the worst kind are big believers in God and faily religious as a people. Just like the kid got carried away, so did the people who attacked him. Both were mistakes. One isn't alive though. Don't expect justice. No one deserves to die over these littel disputes. But it's not a great suprise under all the circumstances. Even here in Canada it's not unconceavible that someone dies over the very same thing happening. And it does happen each year in Canada. I am familiar with both cases. Naturally both parties are being screwed over by Mexican officials. My stance is, "what do you expect?". I mean that respectfully. Really, waht do you expect from Mexico? A fair and just investigation? When you visit these corrupt countries, and put yourself in harms way, like both Ianiero and DePrisco did, it's just not suprising what happened did. I consider the Ianiero's Italian Canadians, but I certainly don't consider the 19 year old Italian. Lol.. Is that a threat? Italians in Ottawa were afraid of the Lebs. We outnumbered them easily but they were friends with us and cool. I would not change my tune. When my son joins the army, it won't be a 'shock' if he dies. If I have a kid that obviously thinks he's invincible, is a trouble maker, and let him go to Mexico while he's at a club causing trouble and trying to pick up some locals wife, then again, I won't be 'schocked'. Oh the anger. Oh the rage. "One of our own died". I feel strongly about this not becuase he was a Canadian, because he was "one of our own!". He was part of a.. family..... an.. ITALIAN FAMILY. Because "I'm ITALIAN!" Canadians who die waiting for ogan transplants? Meh.. I don't care. But by God, don't say anything about... Italians! We ain't Canadians, We are Italians! My origional response to the topic supporting the family: Well I was listening to the aunt on the radio today. She went to Mexico. The Canadian consulate did NOTHING. They did not meet her at the airport, did not give offer her representation. The Mexican officials did nothing. She happened by luck to know someone someone son and friend of a friend who lived there that was able to take her to the airport. She is now back here in Toronto, family crying in the background on the phone call on the radio. She has not been contracted by our local police, RCMP, or gov't once. She has not been offered legal representation once. She has not even contacted offiacials yet. It's just a story between family and media at this point with Canadians doing nothing to help. Basically, in true modern Canadian style of self-hatred, we are letting our own sit and rot just like we do our healthcare system. We don't look after our own people anymore. What I WILL NOT DO, is turn this into a MULTI-CULTURAL TRUDEAU ISSUE OF JUSTICE. Our gov't let the family down. But the fact that these were Italian background Canadians should have NOTHING to do with the issue which you TWO HAVE TURNED THIS ISSUE INTO.
  4. Italians themselves will be the first to point out that the young kids full of testosterone are known to cause trouble at bars and clubs downtown Toronto. It was a concern by their city council saying 'people from outside Toronto from area's like WOODBRIDGE are coming to downtown Toronto clubs and starting fights. Making it unsafe. It's a know thing here in Toronto and with Italians. I'm from a Lebanese background. When me and my leb friends went out clubbing at that age in Ottawa, we caused trouble and got in fights. We were punks. The saying 'crazy Leb' doens't come out of the thin air. Those from the Ottawa area that go to clubs know what I''m talking about. Groups of Italians taht age from Woodbrige who go clubbing downtown are known to cause trouble. I've been to clubs more times than I can count. You don't go hitting on women and grabbing them - ESPECIALLY when you are in another country. You are asking for trouble. You don't go down to Mexico, meet with drug cartel, and say that you are interested in buying property to setup hotels. That is a sure fire way to get you killed. And in early posts, if ANYTHING, *I* was the one who was defending his family and critisizing our gov't for not even making a phone call to the family. It was *me* who has supported this guy the most. But does it suprise me that it was an Italian (wannabe) from Woodbridge who would do this outrageous things in another country at 19 years old? Of course not. I was one of them at one time so know a bit about these things. And as a side note, you aren't Italian, he was not Italian. You are Canadian with Italian bloodlines. Get used it. I have a Lebanese background, but am Canadian. I'm not racist for any people of Italian decent. I like them. They are hard working people that helped build Canada (unlike south asians and other immigrant-only groups who are just utilizing an over easy system (fact)).
  5. You just contradicted yourself. I sympathise with your ways of thinking. I'm from ottawa where it's programmed into you from an ealy age that your failures are due to not speaking French. That is true to large extent. Ottawa jobs went to Quebecers 70% of the time. That was unfair and life in Ottawa. There was litterally no private sector so I had to move here to the GTA. But you know what the difference is? There is nothing Ottawans can do about this issue. It's the nature of the city. Atlantic Canada holds all the cards to fix it's problems. It just need to take those steps. You guys in Atlantic Canada have been culturally programmed to think that the answer to your problems is more gov't intervention and more handouts. You hold your own cards at this point. What I saw on the CBC was honestly pathetic watching a grown PM crying asking for pitty because she was sick and and stealing tax dollars and the reason was clerical errors and sure enough, lack of funding. It was so 3rd world. You guys hold your own cards. You are blessed with an extrememly low immigration rate, you have a strong culture, low cost of living, and you speak English. We don't have this in Ontario. I would consider this place a mess with no potential when compared to Atlantic Canada. Atlantic Canada holds the most potential. It's a hidden gem within Canada. The answer is to announce to North American that you are open for business, and declare tax free zones, open gas competition, and let the gov't step out of private enterprise. You will see your part of the country thrive. And oops, your gov't as a side effect will collecet MORE taxes. But you have been taught against this mindset and it's so sad. Your leaders who are theives and crooks want to protect themselves and keep you the lowely citizen down. This is how it was done in Ireland, and this is how it's done now in the second and third world. If you were to completely manage your own affairs, you would learn some hard lessons of your provinces and be forced to take a conservative stance on this issue. Just some advice from someone who hasn't grown up with the social programming that you have.
  6. I agree that this is a fair, and logical argument. But where does this lead to? Ask yourself a deeper question. Supposed we do not fund these schools and I would like to put my child in the seperate school boards. I demand a portion of my property taxes to be refunded, or, to get funnelled to my seperate school board. (which is what is happening now). If I get my taxes refunded, that means pretty much ANY ethnic minority will have it's own schools. The blacks in TOronto have been fighting for their own seperate school board for some time now. This will wreck havoc on our culture and society due to the stone age nature of some of the cultures in Canada. Your answer is to just throw everyone in one big public school. Well maybe I don't want my child growing up to be anti religious and athiest like many Canadians are today. I want my kids being taught christian values and the ten commandments. I would like him to have respect and care for his fellow citizens in Canada. Somethign that we sorely lack. So you say 'fine then just fund your own school'. I'll say OK, now lets be like the US. Gimme back my property taxes. Then the problem of 'political correctness' becomes inevitable and surely begins to kill our nationl out of 'fairness'. Canada is built of Christian, liberal democrocy and Christian values. We have a herritage of Christianity, and ultimitaly Judism who are the two first religions that built Canada and the US. Now, out of 'fairness to Islam' it's Canada's duty make sure that they get the exact same benefits and treatment as does our Catholic Schoolboard. I say no. I say it's time to take Canada back and put our foot down on people coming here and attempting to recreate their lives back home. People that come here need to realize that we are a Judism/Christian based country with the option of athiest public schools for those here that are afraid of religion or don't want to attend a seperate school board. They can take their classes there and shall not be accomidated in the least. No halal meat, no prayer rooms. If they want their own religious schools, it shall not be allowed. End of story. They can practice their religion, but they are to integrate into our schooling because it's a special issue for some cultures to integrate. If they don't like it, they can go to the UK or Australia (where they probably won't get in). They don't have to come here and continue to wreck havoc on our society. We have Christian schools now. It works fine. Now we have to throw this away because Islam is making an Issue out of this?? No one complained about this years back, now all of a sudden it becomes an issue. Hell no. Not anymore. I'm not being fair to them anymore. I'm putting my foot down and will not support this becuase now I'm a year older and I see exactly where this is leading. Last year I probably would have said the same thing as you to be fair. But not now. Yes. The modern Canadian self-hatred. To advantage all the other religions that our country is NOT built off? Why on earth can't you embrace the fact that we are a Christian/Judism based country? Why should I have to give that up to please 'everyone else'? No way. If poeple think that 'it's not fiar', they can go back home to where they came from. They don't need to be part of Canada if they don't want to. We need to look after our majority and govern according to us. Your argument is flawed and self defeating. It works if you want a completely segregated society. seperate vs. public school board never created a segregated nations within Canada. Your idea of x only schools for x culture and religion is horrendous and would be something that Justin Trudeau would dream up.
  7. Naturally the CBC runs with the story. Man it's each day they are slamming on the oil sands. This is called the 'welfare state'. Taxes used to be gathered by terrifs from goods coming into Canada. Thus, if China wanted to send product into Canada, China would have to pay basically for the 'privelage' of having our consumers by from them. This also helped to protect Canadian made goods and keep them competative. Now taxes are gathered at 50% from common working poor, low income, middle income Canadians to fund our social programs and services. I agree. The are suing the wrong people. Also Quebec has fixed gas pricing. Gas there is very expensive. The tried to do similar in California by taxing oil comapnies and people voted AGAINST it even though it was garunteed in writing that prices would not increase. People saw through it. Taxing in any way at the corperate or consumer level is wrong.
  8. Yes and the problem with Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Bew Brunswick and PEI is that you guys have gotten too used to welfare and gov't services. Anyone with an education there thinks they are owed some sort of gov't funding. I was watching CBC Atlantic on satellite yesterday. I saw that story that all youguys are talking about non stop. Looks like a lot of your leaders got caught with their hands in the cookie jar! Lol... that was so sad and pathetic to see the theft of public funds (our tax funds) to see some Novascotia MP paying her personal car insurance with my tax dollars and then having it refunded twice. And over 60 times double and tripe refunded and it's a 'clerical error'. And that MP was there half crying on TV saying that she was sick and needed help. I coudln't beleive what I saw. You guys have big problems over there. But you know what? You guys are Canadians and able to work. You need to stop the culture of handouts over there. You need to start building your coast. You need to declare tax fee zones and find employment and STOP looking at the gov't for all your problems.
  9. I agree. I feel having these 2 languages holds us back. When I was in Montreal for the holidays a couple weeks back, there were those definite french Canadians that refused to speak English. They just refused. Had a chip on their shoulder. I've lost out on so many job oppertunities because I couldn't speak French. Anyone who speaks french in the GTA have no problem finding work with good pay. That's why my fiance moved here. I feel it's a negative having 2 languages in Canada. I wonder how many other first world countries have 2 offifical languages? And wasn't Luisianna a french state that used to speak french? Ah but they settled in and took part in a unified country. They still have their cajun culture, they just aren't speaking French. Why can't quebec just do the same?
  10. The pics with our soldiers and kids are all nice and dandy. But you have to realize that many parts of the world including Lebanon cannot even control regions of it's own country. Pakistan, Bangledesh, and countrless other Islam populated countries have lost control in certain regions. In these countries, gangs can litterally overthrow a complete gov't or take over a region of a country. Also, it is a against Allah to allow the occupation of an Islamic country. This is a violation of Islam and a call for Jihad. Non believers are occupying Islamic land in Afganistan. This is the core reason Isreal has the problems it does. They believe that land is Islamic land and want them off their land. The Quaran directly dicates this. It's Jihad. Suppose our troups pull out, do you really think that Afganistan with nothnig but the drug trade are going to be able to secure their borders against insurgance? If Lebanon or Pakistan can't do it, Afganistan certainly can't. Iraq atleast has some hope in doing so. Afganistan already has a problem with increadibly corrupt police force demanding bribes at the side of roads. I just don't feel that Afganistan is an attainable goal in the long run and thus we should pull out. We need to focus on securing our own boarders.
  11. A world where we'll probably bowing to Mecca.
  12. Ed Stelmach is currently trying to get Alberta equality with Quebec on running it's own immigration show. Most Albertans want more immigration because Easterns won't move out of welfare to work our jobs. We need to import people, Calgary won't be only 4% for long. I'd suggest we haven't been for some time either. Well the talk during christmas break with the international students was Calgary. They know a friend of a friend who works in fort McMurray. I'm sure you're going to see a flood over there and God bless you. I feel the NB and NS should move out to Calgary to help with the labor. They have a culture of welfare with their hand always out to the feds. You should see their Atlantic Canada CBC. Every story is about gov't funded programs and such. Immigrants wont be seeking to do labor jobs. They want white collar jobs and to live like Kings. Here's the truth of what's going on with immigrants and Calgary: (note the spelling and English skills and relate that to quality of work) "Hi, my name is ARSHDEEP. I'm from INDIA. I'm a freshly Graduate from India as MECHANICAL ENGG. & now seeking for a job in Calgary but m not able to enter in my own field, so I heard from one of my friends that u help the newly immigrants. I'm sending my Resume too as an attach copy with it plz help me out for an entry level job waiting for ur reply. Arshdeep. Calgary, Alberta." Look someone 'wandering' into Calagary looking for work. Hehehehe.. and he will not be working where it's needed. Wouldn't it make more sense that we let qualified people in on work permits? Now there is a soul in Calgary doing nothing. Here's another: "I am a new immigrant and a senior geophysicist, I applied many oil companies they required My APEGGA, the APEGGA register required my working experience. This must take my long time. Wen. Alberta." Another claiming racism. And suprise, he's a Muslim. Maybe that little mosque isn't doing such a good service after all: "I have been in Canada since 1976, 3 degrees, 2 from Canada (year sure buddy)... I have more than one story about the racism in Alberta, home of supremacy. Ziad. Alberta." Another Muslim: "Hi All, I am Civil Engineer having Master in Environmental Engineering, Masters in Public Administration, Master in Business Administration and Micro Soft Certified Professional having more than 12 years of experience. I along with my wife and two kids moved to Canada in October 2005 and from that day onwards I am struggling to get a job BUT what should I say....... am I overqualified, don't have "Canadian experience" or Canadian education. For God sake what is that, Is Canadian education is very different from the education all over the world, Is Canadian experience is very different than the rest of the world? or I can say in other word "prejudice" yes I think this is the most appropriate word, the fear of something unknown in their mind. Z. Syed. Canada - Well Mr. Syed, it would start if you knew how to spell the word 'Microsoft'. After all, you *are* a certified professional aren't you? And you have so many degrees. That which a Canadian would never have the time to get. So yeah, I guess there must be a difference in our education systems. Here's another from Calgary: "I received immigration to Canada under independent category (point system). I was told that my occupation- Microbiology is in demand in Canada. I have ten years of experience as a Teaching specialist and clinical Microbiologist ( including diagnostics and research with more than 20 publications) to my credit. I came here with my family of four. But to my shock and utter dismay I was told that even to work as Laboratory Assistant I have to have a Canadian Certification. Above all, I spent hard earned money from my pocket and did Clinical Research Associate Program from KRC, Ontario, Canada and became a certified Clinical Research Professional (SCORING MORE THAN 90% MARKS) to work in Pharmaceutical Industry or hospitals as a research associate to begin with. But so far, all that I have received is nothing and starving. I have gone into virtual depression along with my family. I do not have money even to buy tickets to go back. Please help me in procuring a suitable job in my profession." -Do these sound like people who want to help build Calgary? I don't think so. Another for Edmonton: "Hi I and my family are PRC holders. I will ask the gentleman Mr. A. Reyes. Alberta. regarding ETIP program. I am graduated in electronics and working in Telecomm. company of my country for the last 18 years. Is ETIP program offered to telecomm. foreign trained engineers? What if I come to Edmonton and first take English training classes and then apply for ETIP? what would be my chances? What about self-employment in Alberta, do they support and train for that? Thanks. (do they support and train for self employment??? LOL!) Sahid K. Islamabad, Pakistan." And because there's no jobs in Alberata, HERE WE GO....... "Today the Muslim community is targeted, tomorrow it could be any other group. It was decided to create a FORMAL COALITION, with wide community participation, that will be proactive and work over the long term. www.naarr.org Northern Alberta Alliance on Race Relations, NAARR." Another looking for Engineering. Doesn't sound like there's a shortage to me: "I am an Electrical Engineer with more than 13 years experience in substation protection field. I have been trying to get an employment in my own field from the last one year. But it is very strange that after having a very good technical experience I am unable to get the attention of potential employers in Canada. I only want to have an employment opportunity in electrical engineering field at any level. Sajid. Brooks, Alberta." Here's another moving to Calgary for white collar riches: "I am looking forward to relocate to Alberta as I am currently underemployed and having difficulty in meeting expenses with the low salary. Rajeev. Kingston, Ontario." Another in Calgary (more Islam) with supposed oil and gas experience of 9 years... uh huh.. "I am Mechanical Engineer having over 9 years of experience of oil and gas, power projects. I am willing to get job of the field where I can use my experience. Zahid. Calgary, Alberta." Here's another in Edmonton: "I'm an Civil Engineer from the Dominican Republic. When I came to Canada I could not work as such because APPEGA (Alberta Associacion of Professional Engineers) asked me to take 3 exams wich I took. I failed in two and aproved only one. I failed for the following reasons: - Canada Engineering codes are slightly different from the americans. - I did not have money to buy the books and these ones are not easy to get in libraries. - Nobody to consult and refresh some old concepts. - I was working night shifts as security guard." Here's another sad story from Edmonton: "Hello, I visited your site today for the first time. My visit was occasioned by the distress I am feeling about being in Edmonton, Alberta for almost four years now and still not able to have even an interview for a job anywhere close to my qualification. (hmm.. wonder how she's been supporting herself) Frankly, I am sick and tired of this situation but refuse to pack up my back and return to Jamaica. My decision is to do whatever necessary to help publicize the plight of professionals who migrate to this country, lured by the idea of a land of multiculturalism and opportunities for all. The only opportunity that I have seen is to accept downwardly mobile careers - even after completing a Canadian Master degree -- which is my second. (she's used services, yet hasn't worked) Claudette. Alberta." -Claudette, it really isn't your fault. Our gov't is letting you come to Canada so you will vote for Liberal and keep a political party in power. We all agree it's crazy that CIC is lying to you telling your that there's all sorts of jobs here. If it makes you feel better, I'm a Canadian and so are a slew of my friends that can't find work in their field either. No one can get jobs if there is no jobs. Another Muslim crying racism in Edmonton (how much Islam is out there anyway???) "I immigrated to Canada 18 years ago with a dream of making a better life and having good job. I graduated from Law Enforcement en 1995 from Lethbridge Community College, but I could not get any job in my field because of racism and discrimination in this country. At the moment I am thinking of leaving this country because of what I experienced in Canada. I am well familiar with the law and I am shocked what Canada does against immigrants. Thank you. Farhad. Edmonton, Alberta." Another from Edmonton: "I have been looking for the job in my above said profession .Where ever I have applied is either not been responded back or just been rejected saying that I don't have desired Canadian experience . Plz ask these people then "IF THIS WAS THE CASE THEN Y THEY GAVE US IMMIGRATION -JUST TO HUMILIATE ALL OF US. Deepinder. Edmonton, Alberta." - (does this guy want to do labor?) Another from Edmonton: "A word of warning. Even in prosperous times, racism in the workplace thrives. Even if you immigrate as a child and are educated in Canada as a professional, you are often treated as a second class employee. Majority of visible minority professionals can only find work in consulting firms. Executive positions within industry are closed off to visible minorities except for those few vacancies that no one wants. Even now, some employment agencies proactively "filter" candidates for their employer clients. So much for the happy cultural mosaic that is Canada. Chi. Edmonton, Alberta." - (wow this guy wants the executive jobs) Muslim again from Alberta: "I am about to leave this country. This country offered me nothing. I came from the USA where I had an excellent job but I had to come and stay here for residency purposes. It was the biggest mistake of my life. I am getting out of here soon. Hamood. Alberta." I'll stop here. I'd like to make a seperate post about this later.
  13. http://www.thestar.com/News/article/169770 A lot, and many all over the world. "An audience of more than a million is considered a huge number for a Canadian show. CTV’s Corner Gas, the private broadcaster’s big sitcom hit and one of the country’s highest-rated shows, pulls in close to 1.5 million viewers a week. American powerhouse shows like Desperate Housewives and House routinely get just over two million Canadian viewers a week. " Basically it was a smash succsess. I'm very respectfully and nicely asking people here to maybe open up to the idea that there are a lot, a LOT of mulsims and immigrants in Canada. Just because you might be from Winnipeg, or Calgary and you might not see it front of your face, come here to the GTA and you will not even hear English. When you go to the Bay at the mall near my house, there is a sign outside offering service in 'the following languages'. There is a board with flags showing all the languages you can get service in. I should take a picture for proof. I predicted the show would be a huge, massive succsess and I has right. It will have a run for more than 2 years I predict. Why did it do well? We have TONS of muslims and immigrants in Canada who are interested in these things. Sure enough the show is a blockbuster and the highest rated Canadian show. I wish I was living in a city that took in 4% of immigrants like Calgary. Or I could move to Colorado, Ohio, etc. (made BBC news of course)
  14. You sure do know how to cloud the issues. Who puts out more greenhouse gasses? A. India B. Canada. A:They are the same country now, haven't you heard! baddabing!
  15. Well I was just throwing things out there. We can launch the waste over the south pole so if the waste drops it will land in the snow and can just die off in the snow. Hope global warming doens't happen and it gets into our water supply.. hehe Just kidding. It's rare to see me put on the left wing idealist hat. When I do, it's not so susccsful. wait.. Hmm the space idea is actually in consideration so maybe my lib idealisms aren't that bad link
  16. There was an isolated incident last year out of a MILLION people from Canada that travel to Mexico. Now there is another incident. Both issues are from Italians in Woodbridge looking for trouble. Go on vacation, stick to your resort, enjoy the free drinks. Don't do dumb things and look for trouble. Now we're like 'Did you know the police in second and third world countries are corrupt?' Of course they are. ANd this one person went to the same resort as the Ionaro's last year and said that Canadians were 'well hated.'. That's good, then DON'T GO! Why the hell are you looking for trouble and going to the VERY SAME resort where the Ionaro's were killed.
  17. I agree. The kid was 19 year old 'Italian' (Canadian born who thinks he's Italian) from woodbridge. Heavily populated Italian area in the GTA. He went to the club district, danced with some local chick who had a husband, then got in a fight on the dancefloor then took it outside where he got killed down the street. The Mexican's are saying it was a 'car accident'. The doctor at the hosptial said it was damage with a metal stick or rocks which were seen close by. He was being a tough guy looking for trouble and he found it. Regardless, our embassy should be involved in this issue. It's a death for God sakes. Atleast meet the family at the air port. Our police should be contacting the family at least. It's a death in an international country. Our gov't has done absolutely nothing, yet rewards Arar who is a cheater and liar $37,000,000 of our tax dollars. I agree, I don't feel our tax dollars should pay for this at all. So far nothing has been spent. And I certainly don't want this to be a political issue. I just want our gov't/police/embassy to give a phone call. That's all.
  18. No no.. nuclear waste doens't work like that. But I do think that maybe sealing the waste in air tight containers and launcing them into space might be a good idea. We can let it float around and never worry about it again. All lefties appose this idea, but it's inevitable that eventually our waste will have to go up to space. There's always the arctic. We can dig underneith the ground the bury it there. Either way, we have to do something to create more fuel. Our electric cars that are coming soon wont get powered by air.
  19. I don't think we ever have consistently, only if it's high profile and/or it could gain the governing party votes. I doubt it was always like this though. Then I remember the tainted blood scandal with hep a. That was terrible and the gov't didn't want to pay out a dime. Also the HIV victims from tained blood. But Arar? He's a hero! Let's make him a millionair!
  20. The main problem I have with Muslims' activities in the West is that they do not voluntarily submit to Western law. If they came here on their own, they made a decision they wanted to be in Canada. Thus, we have a right to insist that they act as Canadians. I agree. The UK let in too many, too fast. Combined with the BBC propeganda, this is the result: link The very same climate is here in Toronto.
  21. Yes, that certainly does factor into a lot of it such as banning Christmas. But PC is not in charnge of introducing Shariah Law into Ontario and Quebec legal code. As far as Toronto goes, until you live here... Here's Toronto at an 'Iranian art galery opening': Here's another event. 'Reviving hte Islamic Spirit' in Toronto. Look at the size of the venue. The underlying mesage is that 'you muslims be succsesful so we can take over <insert country>. All the dictating engagments are like this. This is fundemental to Islam: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6goJmSuB26U
  22. I agree. What part of this fact do people chose to ignore?
  23. He was painting a picture that Harper was like a communist party. That was the jist of it. People don't look deep into issues. The believe what they see. That's Harper with a bunch of communists. I don't feel he deserves that kind of treatment. When you shove tax dollars in envelopes and pass them around, I feel that ok.. you have the right to be made fun of, but not by an attempt to do the right thing.
  24. The same brown haze that comes from out coal burning plants in Ontario? These issues are viable I agree and are due to missmanagement at a provincial level due to lack of clean, safe nuclear energy. It's your green movement that shut down these nuclear plants in Ontario. Now look at the mess we're in.
