Well I was listening to the aunt on the radio today. She went to Mexico. The Canadian consulate did NOTHING. They did not meet her at the airport, did not give offer her representation. The Mexican officials did nothing. She happened by luck to know someone someone son and friend of a friend who lived there that was able to take her to the airport. She is now back here in Toronto, family crying in the background on the phone call on the radio. She has not been contracted by our local police, RCMP, or gov't once. She has not been offered legal representation once. She has not even contacted offiacials yet. It's just a story between family and media at this point with Canadians doing nothing to help. Basically, in true modern Canadian style of self-hatred, we are letting our own sit and rot just like we do our healthcare system. We don't look after our own people anymore.

Wow. Yeah I guess it really is true. There is a war against Chritianity by the left. I never believed it but it reall is true. I attended a Christian high-school and wore a uniform. These schools are very large institutions almost exactly the same as a public school. The diffrence being the unions have less control and never strike. The schools are also rurn more efficiently. I believe in this system. If you don't want Christian schools as they currently are, then you are giving into Islam and other minorities in Canada who are out to destroy our way of life. Why is it only now that people have these viewpoints? This was never a problem in the past.

If you refund proptery taxes, every ethnic minority coming into Canada will put their kids in seperate schools. I know I would. I want my kids in a Christian based school.. This will promote more segregation than we already have. If we are trying to promote a melting pot, we do have to acknowledge religion of the majority, or refund property taxes and only allow schools of 'recognized' religions to be practiced in Canada - Judism, Christianity. I won't like my kids in the current public school system where kids are told they are not allowed to sing christmas songs that have a relation to Christianity, yet the same public school for the 'winter ceremony' allowing for a muslim girl to get on stage and say her Islamic prayer.

Yes. Not the Muslim or Sikh private schools, but the Chritians. Lets make sure we get them! I think Canada should have a group of recognized religions. Well we actually already do in order to prevent cults and such. But I feel Canada should only recognize - Christianity, Judsim, first nations stuff, and THAT'S IT. We recognize no other. And we can all publically fund these schools. Personally I feel the Jewish schools provide and excellent education with 9 hour days and are perfect for the kids. I wish I could get something similar with a Christian school but I can't afford it even if it did exist. I just feel that religion belongs in the schools. But only 2 religions. I feel that would work just fine. Public (athiest), Christian, and Jewish school board. That's where the buck stops. These groups are the founders and of Canada, US, and our North American culture which we must preserve. I want my kids to have a religious up-bringing in their schooling. I can't afford it unless I was refunded my property tax. Thus, I have to enrole my kids in a public funded, ahtiest driven school system that promotes the distruction of family values. I atleast a agree with the Muslims on this point.

I do understand where you are going with this, but respectfully, the Quaran *is* in context. It *is* meant to be lived by directly. Then you haven't really studied the Quaran deep enough. Islam at it's core is about mind control and doing not as you please. The Quaran is not written like any other religion. It's a direct step by step way of life. For instance, if you meet a potential wife, you may look at her hands, feet, and face, and hair. You may not see 'skin' or other parts of her body. In my first religion class in my Catholic highschool, (i'm not Catholic btw. I'm Greek Orthodox) the religion teacher told us (grade 7 kids) that there was no such thing as Noah's arch. It was a childrens story. Adam and Eve was also just a story not meant to be followed litteraly. The Bible is like the Hindu book in that it gives stories by which you gain moral value. But these are just stories, you follow the meaning, not the actual contents. Adam and Eve she said was a story, not how humanity actually started. My teacher was a Nun and old so she was fairly creadible and respected in the Ottawa community. We were all like 'so that didn't happen'?? That's when we were taught to take the meaning of the story, not the actual story itself. There's the ten commandments in which we follow to gain morals. I do a good job in following these. The bible says that all believers will go to heaven. You don't have to go to church, you don't have to give money, you don't have to fast for 30 days, you just have to believe. The whole book of the Quaran is written like the 10 commandments. The book is of commandments. It covers its loopholes very well. It's very literal. It tells you what and how to think. I never watched it and watched it for the first time last night since I can't remember. I didn't know it was THAT much of a Liberal mouth peice! I thought the website was bad enough. Hehehe.. you don't know me personally. My hi5 profile doesn't agree with your statement. I am personal friends with Muslims and have dated one actually. A love interest with another in school. I think I should know about Muslims, immigrants, and cultures. My circle of friends are from parent who came to Canada during a time when we had good immigrants and people integrated in with our society. Now, just anyone is coming. That includes terrorists and sympathisers. This is not an issue of friends though, it's about bad apples ruining it for everyone. I do believe that our security, culture, and way of life is threatened by those bad apples. This is also a Liberal agenda that would like the same. It's in the signs of things that are happening, it's in the numbers.

I would disagree. Many great sitcoms have been based off taboo social issues. This is the modern sitcom with tons of potential. It has so much potential to run for years and years. It can only get racier and racier. Almost any show will promote an agenda if it runs for long enough and over the years I think you'll see this show get more racy and finally cause controversy. I don't think there's much more that can be done to insult Canadians. There's lots of room for cameo appearances. I'm sure Arar will eventually appear on the program seing as they made a reference to him already. There's an unlimited possibility of new actors to join the show. And of course, it's a matter of time before the daughter falls in love with a non-mulsim boy. That's definately in the cards. What I can say is the end result will always positively potray Islam and it will slowely brainwash the minds of the Canadians. (oh yes, and I loved the way they attacked the CPC).

I love how you are trying to dodge that one. The CBC *is* a content based organization. It's content should be to report news in Canada's intereset, not hold a political left wing agenda. So that's the job of the CBC now? It didn't address ANY negative issues with Islam. That was my problem with the show. It was pro-Islam, Anti-Canadian. That's the fact of the matter. I don't take it personally. I believe in stereo-types to an extent actually. I think we all do. What I object to is my tax dollars funding anti-Canadian stereo types that have no truth or merit. Like white Islamic converts marrying muslims for money, western radio show hosts being racist, RCMP being an evil entity that deports people to 'any country they like'. Stereo-typing is simple and it works. Saying that Jewish people 'all doctors and lawyers' is false, but in fact bares truth.. Saying that western radio show hosts are racisist and anti-Islamic is a lie and false. Saying taht Canada has a 'Terrorism hotline' that is jam packed with calls from Canadians is a lie and is false. Tese are an attempt to create false, negative stereo types on Canadians and my tax dollars are funding this. I'm sick of the self hating, self disctucting, liberal agenda that goes on in this country. And yes I feel this is a direct result of Trudeau. If it wasn't for him, we wouldn't be having that show or this converstation.

NEP and multiculturalism. Trudeau is the father of separtist thought in the West and a large contributor to separtist though in Quebec. Ottawa has a lot of senior citizends. Probably like Winnipeg. And on our station 580 CFRA, it was a regular occurance to hear a senior call up and say a statement followed by ".... until Trudeau went ahead and ruined the country". That was a regular statement. I heard that statement so much in fact, that I researched his legacy on my own, watched the CBC funded movie, and read about him on the CBC. My Fiances dad told me the story about how one day Trudeau decided without debate, without discussion or anthying else that Canada would be a multicultural country. He said that things just made the news paper time after time. Discisoins made without debate or consultation. If anyone is like myself, I find the root of our litteraly all our problems to be due to immigration and multiculturalism. This goes for our heathcare, welfare state, undermployment, wages, security, crime, everything. Thy way I see it, if there was a standard gov't in power during the time, they would have looked to the US and developed a normal, rational, work permit based immigration policy like most any other country. This would have ensured that only those coming here would have a job and not rely on our welfare state. It would also make sure that a Canadian got a job first, and only if unfiled, then an immigrant could take it. This is why immigration in almost any other country doesn't effect it's welfare state and actually ads growth. Trudeau was an idealist. A complete idealist. Someone who never even looked at another countries policy on how to deal with administration. Almost every country does this. But not trudeau. He has a vision for Canada. He was our first dictator. Mulrouney fealt that he could also do the same and govern in the same manor. He was also destructive IMO but to a far lesser extent. The Canada I grew up in was rich with hockey, Patrick Wa, Montreal Canadiens, Terry Fox, Hockey on the street, CBC media without agenda and shows like 4 on the floor. Fishing by the ottawa canal talking to french canadians. Ranking 3rd richest country after Japan and USA. Canadian business was everywhere. No US franchises. The years of cottages, boats. Many even had planes back then. A garunteed job out of any post secondary training. Where we *really* believed that we were more superior to the US in every aspect and many would argue we were. A place with 8% tax. Now this doesn't even feel like the country I grew up in. It's not Canada. To me, it's a place where only 50% of people speak English. A place that the whole world abuses. An open welfare state to the world. A place where I am discriminated against in my own country. A place of self-hatred. A place where it's just granted and taken as fact that the US is a better, more richer country than Canada. A place where we let our own die in hospital waiting lists. A place that takes down christmas trees during christmas. This is not the Canada I gew up in at all> it's far, far worse. I think that the person responsible is definately Pierre Trudeau. As a many people said, he really did mess up the country.

His father's money. Does this guy do any work for a living? Well he sits on boards and collects our tax dollars for doing nothing. We'll always pay Trudeau to be elite. There will always be people offering him seats on boards in Quebec where the money gets passed around in envelopes. These are how elites operate. That Kakoont or whatever 20M boondoggle is a mere 1000 student volunteers. So where does the money all go? To adults. Who are those adults? Quebec elites. All he has to do is ask an elite to set him up with a job or seat on a board and there's his money. And when I say job, I mean an elite job. You bascially don't show up to work and get paid for nothing. Hmm.. who sits on the board at Magna? Mulrouney, Mike Harris, etc. Basically elites. Now Mulrouneys sone is actually doing something for the Canadian red cross I beleive? It's all elite insider money that comes from us the tax payer. This has got to stop. Let the private companies do this.

I would wager that the average muslim in Canada knows more about Jesus and the bible than the average Canadian. Also, I recommend that Canadians learn about Islam. You'll find that there's no hiding the fact that the religion is violent and it degrades women. The Quaran tells you directly how to live. Litterally step by step in a literal manner: "As to those women on whom part you fear disloyalty and ill conduct, admonish them (first), (next), refuse to share their beds, (and last) beat her."

Our week immigration policy that people from all over the world are taking advantage of has nothing to do with globalization. I disagree with that. Are they dangerous because they ask you to send them a donation? Because they believe in family values and other petty social things? What is so dangerous about them?? Lol! How are they as dangerous as terrorists attempting to purchase tons of fertilizer in order to build bombs? Yes. But it's not our role as a country to see to it that this happens. You cant' force people to integrate if they don't want to be. Muslims do not integrate well into our western society for the most part. Even at work we had a lot of probelms with our Muslim staff members and tension that was caused at work. Impartially, because i'm friends with everyone, the Muslim staff members over stepped their bounds many of the times and created conflict for every work event and almost always got their way. None of us were allowed to leave during Friday afternoon. None of us got a special room. Everything was an issue from our moral events to christmas party to potlucks to schedules. There was litterly the Islamic faction of the team and us. We never got our way. However, they never got a promotion or where never put in charge of anything for this reason. They never realized this. One told me that he didn't get promoted because he was muslim. He invited me to an event where Jean Chretien, Volpe, and other Liberal politicians were going to be. This was to celebrate some Imam that visitited Canada. They had the streets closed off around the mosque with police security due to other Muslim attacks. There's so much stuff that doesn't make the news that goes on each day. You have to experience it first hand though to really understand the issues at play.

Last figure I heard they were at 800,000. Keep in mind that they are concentrated around the city areas. Alberta or Atlantic Canada is not a haven for Muslims. So there really are a LOT of them. They are very well polulated around Canada's major cities and Ottawa. Calling to prayer is a religious hym. It's a song Allaaaaaaah Aaaaakbar. It's not "students please meet in the gym for prayer". So you have to visualize the kid singing through the speakers with all the mic's turned on through the school and yard while everyone comes to the gym and does prayer facing in the direction of mecca. When the kids memorize the Quaran they have to read aloud the lines over and over and over while rocking back and forth sitting on the floor. Of course I agree, But when are we going to put our foot down on Islam? Parents do not believe in having their kids speak to 'outsiders' in our own country. They do not want them associating with Canadians. These are mostly religious schools that brainwash kids and treat women as lesser people. Islam does threaten Canada's security. It's the simple. They have an agenda to get muslims into controlling parts of society in order to see to their special interest. I think it's up to the majority whether this is what we want happening in our country or not. The CBC show just brainwashed the masses into thinking that the mosque is some friendly place with white converts and a minister. I dare any minister to step into a mosque party like that. I remember that school paper incident. I was living in Ottawa at the time. At the time, I didn't even know that there was such things as private islamic schools. I thought "why do WE allow this?". Since coming to Toronto, you will see huge islamic schools and very large islamic flags that are green with the cresent moon. No Canada flag, just Islam. Right by the QEW highway to show people coming in and out of Toronto that it is Islam territory. Islam at it's core is a cult. It's brainwashing. It's segregation. It's written like no other relgion in the fact that it's designed at it's core to brainwash by the first opening line of the Quaran. but that's another topic. 18 terrorist were arrested right near my house. They grew up brainwashed and segregated from Canadian society. I feel it's time to put a stop to Islam in Canada. The Swede's are doing this I think also. France took measures to keep Islam in line. This is for social and security reasons. We need to begin looking after Canadians. A sad reality of life is that everyone has to suffer because of the bad apples. That's just the breaks in life. In Canada, it's time to stop all the apples from coming in because we can't chance anymore bad ones. Again, it's no ones *right* to come here. We don't owe any muslim abroad anything. This is a private country with it's own laws and borders. We need to protect our nation and take Canada back.

There are lots of excuses. I ride a bike. That's a good excuse. Yes but the bike causes sweat wich releases CFC's into the air and creates a hole in the ozone. Also, litte droplets of oil fly off the chain and can get into the gras which kills it and causes the world to be less green. I think you should be riding a hybrid. Yes the Canadians get depicted in a negative light, the Muslims get depicted in a postive light. People are accepting it. Thus, the show has proven to be succsefully and will continue to brainwash Canadians like only the CBC can.
