Walk Away. Escape the D Plantation
myata replied to gatomontes99's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
From Vlad and Kim's nutjob fan club? Hardly an appealing proposition -
Here's an interesting observation. For a long while, the dictator scum of the world like Kim and Vlad worked hard to recruit stooges and agents of influence in the West's left, maybe following an established tradition. They got some traction here and there but overall, not much to boast about. The agents and their influence were meager with hardly any following. Then someone bright back there decided to try a different direction. And lo, look! A falling star of the cult, a full-time conspiracy nut, with the second man in the hierarchy (the one who wants to decide how many kids you should have and when and with whom) pick Vlad's lies right off his tongue and fan them around like some sh*t ventilators. Could Vlad, in the wildest of his dreams hope for a better output on investment? One cannot overlook it: this a bunch that is both desperate and entirely devoid of any values and principles. They will associate with anyone and anything to advance their agenda and get to the power. There are no covers anymore they are showing and telling who and what they are very clearly. To parrot lies and narratives of a fascist aggressive regime of our time is as clear a line as it can possibly get, ever, even theoretically. This never happened before in America. We will not have a simpler, more obvious case that is staring us right in the eyes.

Poilievre won't commit to the 2% NATO target
myata replied to myata's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I don't appreciate brave patriots playing lofty tunes also blatantly misleading public (yes there's a shorter word), like some Vlad or you know who. While I'm no fan, the statement above is factually incorrect: Trudeau commits to NATO spending target (BBC) -
The lying buffoon is growing desperate, picking lies and "plans" right off Vlad's tongue. That surely is the first, for America.
-
It's time to stop all excuses and pretenses. There's nothing unknown or hidden anymore. For generations, leaders in America understood that there are matters that make America strong and unique in the world: rule of law; the democracy; freedoms and they are over and above any political differences. The buffoon simply doesn't get that. There's nothing in America or Universe itself above his him. He will give away and sell away anything to anybody, to the worst thugs on the planet if only they scratch his ballooning ego as enormous on the outside as empty within. And now he's repeating the lies of a fascist dictator and aggressor, word for word, playing right into his hands hoping it could give him a whiff of advantage. At this point, it's past politics even bad lying one. He is a danger to America's values, principles and her security.

The secret plan was to give the thug what he demands and run. Hope that he wouldn't come for more too. But what could we expect from a liar and coward, liar to the power of coward and coward to the power of a grotesque drum-empty liar? A disaster. And a clear, actual threat to the security of the United States and the free world.

Poilievre won't commit to the 2% NATO target
myata replied to myata's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Well that's one of the dumbest Canadian games pretending that both benevolent world and a shiny future are assured and guaranteed. But the wake up from centuries-old slumber can be heavy and at times, painful. Eroding NATO right now (and surely other buddies won't miss the precedent) is one of the dumbest things one could possibly do. Remember, NATO Charter makes no guarantees that anyone will defend Canada. -
Poilievre won't commit to the 2% NATO target

The play has run its course to the conclusion: in the system that is absolutely devoid of accountability, by intent too, first generations of public governments maybe believed in some lofty words and traditions; the following ones not so much but still tread the line out of a habit. And by now they have realized that they aren't really bound by anything and have no obligations and responsibilities to anyone. Congrats to us. We have arrived. -
I can see only two logical options here: either they are bent on removing, blasting away any vestiges of principles and traditions of freedom in America, so there's a void and burned moral desert for their new ideologies; or Vlad is holding them by something important. Or both of course. Other plausible explanations?

Real men: Audrey Hepburn "In the autumn of 1944, “she and her family kept a British paratrooper in their basement, the latest act in a series of defiances,” writes Den of Geek’s David Crow. “By the following winter, they too would be living down there, wary to even crawl out of ‘bed’ as the bombs fell on their small Dutch village of Velp.” Trump "men": let's just give in to the thug! That sums it up, doesn't it? Nothing here we didn't know.

Right. Vlad and Xi will take it into account, of course. Buyers: beware. With the trumpist folk you just can't know it. -
Thug adoring coward who despises democracy and the rule of law. Short, easy and entirely factual.
-
And so, the masks go off: this is not Trump's plan, not Vance's. It's Vlad's, Putin's plan for the world, much more than Ukraine. JD Vance on Shawn Ryan show talks about possible "solution" for Ukraine: leave to Russia the territory it occupies and prevent Ukraine from obtaining security guarantees of NATO. In summer of 2022 the same "plan" almost to the word was proposed by none other than Vlad himself. There are no unknowns anymore: Trumps bunch would play right into the dictator's hands, the modern incarnation and equivalent of Hitler. Siding with the worst of dictator scum on the planet. This never happened to America in almost three centuries of its proud history. He wouldn't "tell" Vlad anything. He'd cower, take his every word and run away a thug-loving coward that he is. And this is about far more than Ukraine. If aggressive thugs get encouragement by getting their wish, who and where will their next victim be? While the bunch would be working hard on weakening and dismantling NATO with their buddies, freedom's only defense and hope in the rising world of darkness. We know all about it now. And we know from the history what could be the cost of playing with these things. Democracy is the responsibility of free citizens. Freedom is not free.

Just as aggressive tyranny has been rising around the world. With those trampites, one just having big, serious trouble getting whose nets, and hands they are playing into. Buyer beware.

Well, well please don't tell me it was a prophecy 😉 The toughest of machos, undisputed victor of Kim and Vlad (the thugs) by hug and kiss in the a$$ (they didn't know but were quite pleased nonetheless) is running away - asap, from a girl as soon as he had to face her in a fair, open debate. But wait, what didn't we know, of the men (by the record at least) of this sort and probe? Of course, throwing up lies, mud and insults is safer from behind the corner. Will this be the standard of American politics, from now on? Maintaining their democracy is the choice and responsibility of the citizens. Freedom is never free.

History tells us very clearly that games with this stuff, especially irresponsible and duplicitous can cost much and end very badly. This can be the case where following the pipe of a patented and stamped all over liar is not only un-smart but also risky and dangerous. The reality does not like to be ignored and it has told us that very clearly on many, many occasions.

ICC was (and is) wrong to charge the leaders of Israel
myata replied to myata's topic in Political Philosophy
Well, I'm only trying to agree with the objective reality and reason. -
Yes this is a serious, possibly fundamental and critical problem. A long time back we, in the general sense of the people, the society approved the establishment of a political system that is virtually immutable and has no incentives to modify and adapt itself. It will become a serious obstacle to any essential and meaningful change because their incentives in the current system are not aligned with, and can run contrary to those of the society.

So we have here a candidate for the leadership of a first world democracy, who consistently, point to point repeats the lies and propaganda of its staunchest enemy, a totalitarian dictator, international bandit bent on subjugation, aggression and destruction of the freedom. This is no longer a guess, factually confirmed and repeated manifestation in the reality. Nominating such candidates is not only a gross, unforgivable failure of responsibility by a democratic party entrusted by the people with selection of quality leaders. It is also an unacceptable risk, and a threat to the national security.
