I pretend nothing, I see. In my neighborhood I've seen only Liberal signs vandalized. The pattern has been widespread throughout the country. And we have zero reaction from the Poilievre campaign. There aren't really any softer still objective terms than "dumb to the core", "stupidly ignorant and careless" for anyone who could still believe that trumpesque antics and agendas are only normal politics as the consequences are playing out right before our eyes. And of course binary politics don't help one bit. Trumpist Conservatives and dumbing Liberals will bring it to the same sad and miserable destination in no time at all. The clock is ticking for Canada politics to grow up - and we have not generations, not decades but counted cycles and years.

I'll take this one because the rest is pretty much Poilievre hot air that he's been blowing for two decades on public dime without much real essence. So ask yourself: why would this supposedly "transparent" measure be targeted against one specific individual he's been losing to so badly - as opposed to being applied fairly and universally? Something is inherently wrong with tax havens ->->-> shouldn't PP's cozy bunch of billionaire admirers be "divested" of them as well? No, everything is perfectly fine with the wealthy bunch who colluded on the price of bread and other necessities only out of desperate poverty (guessing why else) hiding their assets there - why pick and select one scapegoat to show pretend and false "transparency"? Make no mistake, it's no oversight it's deliberate confusion, put simply: plain, glaring bull. Same as let's stand to America by sucking up to it (and how else would one "increase trade" in the current climate)? Bull is what he's trying to sell Canada because he respects Canadians on the same or close level as his pretend (again - notice?) "adversary". Is there any evidence that it was authorized by the campaign management? Seriously a "senior reporter" wouldn't have an idea of the difference? Anyways, anyone who isn't blind and dump can see the difference in bold and obvious script here - Liberal leader immediately condemned the acts - We are still waiting, and most likely in wain for Poilievre to call his goons to stop damaging campaign signage that is also a federal criminal offense. Right in their eyes and they wouldn't see it, point blank. Who's surprised though?

Look at them: if you rather not see yourself this way, in the mirror tomorrow, the time to think and decide is now. Life may not be easy and not all questions can have instant and easy answers. But you don't have to go down and become like them. This is a choice, not an obligation. While you have a human brain, there's always a choice.

Please don't start me there: "biological clocks" adage - is it a weirdo, just a freak thing? For two decades he voted against most affordable housing initiatives. Was housing minister under Harper - where are the results? Voted against affordable childcare, school food program. What does he care about women's "clocks"?

A random or inspired coincidence, I came across a post in one of the soc media feeds at to "what's really wrong with CPC campaign" and then, right here "The CPC is nothing at all like the Republican party". So I thought, true, it's wrong when and if politics is reduced to making an adversary, then enemy, and then, an existential opposite of the political opponent. Is someone inventing this antagonistic view? Is it fictional? All valid questions. For that reason I looked and tried to understand it. And here's the list, in my view and assessment entirely objective and factual why following my analysis of this reality, and facts in it I have to conclude that yes, indeed Canadian conservatives have stepped on the same path that Republican party was on some years or decades earlier, and if they fail to see it, and correct it now, it will lead them, all the way, to the same dismal and disgusting destination. Which is right here, before our eyes. Vicious personal attacks in all channels as opposed to civilized and respectful arguments. This is U.S. style politics and we can watch in real time where it leads. Repeated and persistent spreading of false pseudo-information, insinuations and claims targeting the individual as opposed to their policy. U.S. politics, worst of. Apparent refusal to condemn uncivilized and criminal campaign tactics as widespread interference with election signs and commit fully and unconditionally to the rules and practices of civilized democratic campaigning. Less than a clear, unconditional and unequivocal answer to the question about accepting the results of election. Closeness, tight control of the media access in this critical time when Canadians have the full right to learn as much as possible of their candidates. Shameful and shameless avoidance of candidate debates that appears to be the set policy of the said party. Failure and/or blatant refusal to heed concerns of Canadians in answering questions about the security clearance - even in these troubling times in the world. Some weird statements about women. Absence of clear priorities and strategy in the international politics and the economy. Confused, self-contradictory or deliberately misleading claims like doing more trade with the U.S. (how? in exchange for what?) to build up "sovereignty". Endorsement by most grotesque U.S. MAGA personalities including Musk, Jones, Shapiro, Tucker Carson and others. Can't say this is all, can be more on further thought. So yes, there are reasons and they are objective, real and factual.

Just don't go there. Stay back wait for it to fail miserably, then talk about why and how you got into it and how you'll make sure it never happens again - at least not in your lifetime. It can be literally, the last chance to stand back from a dumb and disgusting failure. Republican party today can be your future tomorrow. You know it. You've seen it. There can be no excuses.
