You have your history ass backwards. Here's the proof: 1. There is one Jewish country in the world, and in that country there are 20% Arabs, living peacefully with full rights. How many Jews live amongst the 22 Arab countries? Conclusion: the Jews are upholding their charter. 2. If at any point in the last 80 years the Arabs had the power to wipe out the Jews, they would have. The Jews have had this power for decades yet they have tried to live in peace.

I googled this text: AI Overview Learn more Genetic studies show that both modern Jewish and Palestinian populations share a strong genetic link to the ancient Canaanites, suggesting a common ancestry, rather than a minimal connection for European Jews as stated. Here's a more detailed explanation: Common Ancestry: Genetic research indicates that modern Jewish and Palestinian populations, including those in the Middle East, share a significant genetic connection to the ancient Canaanites who inhabited the region during the Bronze and Iron Ages. Canaanite Origins: The ancient Canaanites were a diverse population that lived in the Levant (modern-day Israel, Palestine, Lebanon, and parts of Syria and Jordan) from around 3000 BCE to 1200 BCE. Genetic Studies: Studies analyzing ancient DNA from the remains of individuals from the Bronze and Iron Ages in the Levant have revealed that modern Jewish and Palestinian populations share a significant proportion of their genetic heritage with these ancient Canaanites. Complex History: The genetic history of the region is complex, with various migrations and interactions between different groups over time. However, the evidence suggests that the ancient Canaanites played a significant role in shaping the genetic makeup of the modern populations in the region. Not a Minimal Connection: The idea that European Jews have a minimal connection to the ancient Israelites and Canaanites is not supported by genetic evidence. While there are variations in genetic makeup among different Jewish populations, including those of European descent, the overall genetic link to the ancient Levant is substantial. Examples of Studies: A 2020 study published in Cell analyzed genetic material from 93 people who lived between 2500 B.C.E. and 1000 B.C.E. and whose remains were found in Israel, Lebanon, and Jordan, and compared it to samples from 17 modern populations, including European Jews and Palestinians. Other studies have also found that Palestinians, Israeli Bedouins, and Druze are among the closest genetic neighbors to most Jewish groups, along with some Southern Europeans.

You are not alone in your Malthusian doomsday attitude. There are countless end-of-the-world prophets. The data tells another story. To illustrate, again, a simple hypothetical question you are to be reborn in a random place on Earth, you can choose the year, what year would you choose? -

We know that commodity demand is growing over time. How about prices? Put together these two graphs: https://www.researchgate.net/figure/The-Economist-commodity-price-index-in-real-dollar-terms-adjusted-by-US-GDP-deflator_fig2_221419034 https://www.bankofcanada.ca/rates/price-indexes/bcpi/ Cleary, as I said commodity prices are near historic lows, despite growing demand. Therefore supply is growing faster than demand. Regarding nuclear, Yes, I agree, nuclear makes sense, just follow the lead of Sweden and France. -
Arab land was lost because Arabs started a war and lost. This attitude is consistent with the typical anti-Israeli crowd: -When Egypt and Jordan "steal land", I don't care -When Jordan kills and exiles Palestinians, I don't care -When Lebanon openly discriminates against Palestinians, I don't care -When Palestinians kill other Palestinians, I don't care -When Jews are ethnically cleansed, I don't care But when Jews are attacked, then defend their country against those that want to kill all Jews, that they want to share peacefully with all residents, then you care.

https://wir2022.wid.world/chapter-2/ Yes, depending on how you spin it, the world is becoming more or less equal or unequal. I am a citizen of Earth, living in a global village, so to me global inequality is more important that within country inequality. More importantly, world poverty in in incredible decline, there is no other way to spin this data: https://blogs.worldbank.org/en/opendata/september-2024-global-poverty-update-from-the-world-bank--revise So yes, the rich get richer, but not at the expense of the poor whose income growth is lifting hundreds of millions of people out of poverty. This is another good example of issues to focus on instead of global warming. -
Land was purchased. "Palestinians" is a term whose meaning has changed over time, however, there has never been a Palestinian state. Here are some questions: between 1948-1967, were Egypt and Jordan "illegally occupying" Palestine? Did they "steal that land from Palestinians"?

Israel did not steal anyone's car, house nor land. Israel is defending herself against those that want her exterminated. I am pointing out differences in values and culture.

You've got it backwards: 1. World inequality has never been lower than it is today. Simple question: pick a year to be reborn in any random place on Earth, what year would that be? 2. Resources have never been as abundant as they are today, the proof is that, when adjusting for inflation, the cost of nearly all goods are very close to historical lows. -
Here is another look at Palestinian culture: Who's side are you on?

You are conflating a whole mish mash of issues. Overall, all else being equal, a warmer climate will benefit biodiversity: the vast majority of life on earth is in the warmer climates. Luckily for us, the closer we are to the equator, the less warming that is taking place. Also, the increased CO2 is one factor in increasing plant growth, the world is actually becoming greener. I am not saying that all is well in our environment, there are real problems and lets focus on them instead of wasting our resources on such futile efforts of achieving net zero. For example, when bio-rich rainforests are burned down, we all loose in the long term. Why do people burn down rainforests? Because they are poor and cannot afford to think long term. The solution: lift people out of poverty. A key factor that helped reduce the world's poverty rate from 90% to 10% is abundant low-cost energy. In other words policies that increase energy costs make people poorer and harm the environment. -

Why not discuss/refute the issue instead of jumping directly into an ad hominem fallacy. The data clearly shows that yes, the world is getting warmer, but humans are thriving better than ever. -

Myth, as per an excellent series of articles: https://www.fraserinstitute.org/commentary/we-need-get-smart-about-climate -
What land did they steal?
-
I agree. The Jewish migrants purchased their land and lived in peace until attacked.

Wrong, here is one example of many: "The pogrom officially began on June 15, 1834. It lasted thirty-three days. It was carnage. Armed Arab and Bedouin villagers, as well as the inhabitants of Safed (including Turks), massacred the Jews and raped their wives. The death toll probably exceeded five hundred." https://www.fondapol.org/en/study/pogroms-in-palestine-before-the-creation-of-the-state-of-israel-1830-1948/ 100 years ago, and throughout history before and after there were millions and tens of millions of people migrating throughout the world, including Arabs migrating into Palestine. Do you oppose any other migration or is it just the thousands of Jews? Israel pulled out of Gaza in 2005. Israel has handed over control of most of the West Bank to the PA, cooperates with the PA in other areas. The current leader pulled out of Gaza in 2005. He was elected once it was crystal clear to the enough voters that Palestinian leaders would not recognize Israel and maintained their goal of the complete elimination of Israel. A good start would be understand the truth of both the current situation and the historical narrative. A) Compare the Israeli constitution with the one from Hamas. B. Israel has the capability to kill all Palestinians. Heavily armed Israeli solders patrol Palestinian territories with minimal abuse of power. Imagine the roles reversed? C) Israel shares "their country" with 2 million Arabs with full rights, and better standards of living than almost any Arab country. Yet all Jews have been ethnically cleansed from all 22 Arab countries. (Along with other minorities)
-
Like individuals, nations loose their rights if they violate the rights of others. Hamas' goal is the elimination of Israel. Hamas has the support of the majority in Gaza and the West Bank. Yes there are some Israeli's that have consistently opposed a two-state solution. The vast majority of Israelis would gladly live peacefully next to a Palestinian state that would not attack Israel. Again: Hamas' goal is the elimination of Israel. How do you achieve "a settled consensus across the political spectrum for a peaceful transition to two states"?
-
This is absolutely not true. The vast majority of Israelis would gladly live peacefully next to a Palestinian state that would not attack Israel. Proof 1: There are 2 Million Palestinians living peacefully in the state of Israel today Again, the majority of people in Gaza and the West Bank do not want a 2 state solution, they want to kill or exile all Jews from Israel. What "inch" can they give, i.e. what can Israel do to change this fact?
-
Don't you get it? The majority of people in Gaza and the West Bank do not want a 2 state solution, they want to kill or exile all jews from Israel.
-
Israel has accepted the 2 state model, subject to Palestine accepting the existance of Israel. This seems like a reasonable stance, no?
