  1. Anyone that thinks the media is unbiased is a fool. Journalists' union (Media Guild) is registered to campaign in the federal election...against the government! So while Guild members are "objectively" reporting on the federal election, their union is campaigning in it -- and for typical left wing causes, of course.
  2. Canada is already having trouble competing against other lower cost countries like Mexico and China etc. Intentionally hamstringing energy industries like Ontario did and what Notley is planning along with an inability to build new pipelines will only make it that much worse. Typical for Canada - concentrate on how to distribute the wealth (i.e. tax those who are productive) rather than how to generate the wealth. Pitiful really.
  3. Dalton, Wynne, the Liberal has taken the once proud Province of Ontario and turned it into a beggar in juts under 10 years. Who’s credit rating has again been downgraded, has a debt of over 300 billion dollars, more high priced public servants on the payroll than it can afford, the highest energy rates in North America a dying manufacturing sector, and billions lost in scandals. So what is your point ? Harper by comparison is a saint.
  4. And yet if you try to convince the left that the press is hostile towards the Conservatives, they'll refuse to believe it. This trial is glaring proof of that bias, and I'm actually chuffed that at least one guy had the guts to take them to task for it (at yesterdays press conference).
  5. The candidate selection process is broken in all parties . I liked it a lot better when riding association nominated candidates and party officials had to work with them . Now party insiders pick candidates with predictable results.
  6. What do you think of the flipped classroom?
  7. So today in politics we have Mulcair quoting thatcher, a liberal with a bad haircut resigns and one old angry conservative man. 61 more days people.

  8. Happy to see poor people starving on the streets? Well let's keep handing our forced millions to unions so the union bosses can get rich and fight Conservatives while people starve in the streets. Your post reveals a high level of ignorance, which in all reality, doesn't surprise me. I ran with socialists who really din't give a damn abut the poor. They used the poor to exploit votes. That's all. Look at the tolerant tweets left by a tolerant, progressive Liberal candidate in Calgary. I guess you would rather pigeon hole and work on deception than honesty. You are no better than those you hate. Grow up!
  9. 7 out of 10 won't vote for JT or Tom, either. But then I'm sure FPTP will be fine. i
  10. This trial is called the diversion game. As long as the lefties can keep the focus on Puffy, the less it's on their own election platforms, the things which actually MATTER TO VOTERS!
  11. You need your country back is right. But whom are you willing to give it to? The guy who is fighting us taxpayers in the court for he wouldn't admit that his party swallowed $3.5 million of our money to open NDP offices he wasn't legally allowed to? Or the Liberals of the Sponsorship Scandal reputation?
  12. Difference is Harper knows how he is going to pay for the promises. The other guys have no clue. However, I do know they will impose a carbon tax, raise corporate taxes, introduce a $15.00 per day daycare plan. Do you think a union operated daycare can make it on $15.00 per day per kid. Not likely. Higher taxes? You bet. Of course lets tax the rich. That’s called class warfare my friend. Trudeau is going to spend $200 million creating schools on reserves that have no teachers or school houses. Need I say more.
  13. Why dont you take a break, your 10 hours of bleating and praying that this is some sort of scandal must be tiring.. Making up all that BS has to be stressful.
  14. You're kidding, right? Is this Jon Stewart? ^
  15. One guy who's fed up with the media witch hunt who wasn't afraid to be nasty about it and it's a "zombie army of the unthinking"? Why the hostility and demonization of conservative thinkers. No wonder people are angry! Do you want a bunch of candidates who all toe one party line, like in the phony "elections" of communist countries? You think this country would be so much better off, so different, than what it is today? Stephen Harper is a good man, a good Canadian. He's done a fine job during some difficult times and we should be grateful for that. What has he done to make your life worse? Do you think Trudeau or Mulcair could have done better, that the people, this economy would be better off, that they are better men? They certainly are not. Too many people are too naive. And if they vote, everyone else suffers the bloody consequences.
  16. I really have no problems with Harper anymore. I'd say he's been a solid, consistent leader. My financial situation has been better under the CPC than it was under the Liberals. I don't get worked up over the phony, agenda-driven scandals of the CBC and Toronto Star.
  17. I wonder what has caused the CPC to have such a large lead in Ontariowe?
  18. Would we still require the USA to protect us if a circumstance happened to arise?
  19. The Canadian media is lazy an politically motivated. It's no wonder intelligent people can't trust the CBC. What are some of your excuses?

  20. I just got off the phone with a friend who attended a Conservative event. After the PM spoke he gave the 5 reporters an opportunity to ask a question. Three of the reporters were CBC, The CBC reporters asked the same question about the Duffy trial. The PM answered. Given that they had all asked the same question I don't know why they would have expected a different answer! On the evening news we listened to Hannah Thibedeau say, "The PM was peppered with questions about the Duffy trial". I was astounded because her statement was such an outright lie. Three CBC reporters asked the same question 3 times. This kind of 'reporting' is why many Canadians lack respect for journalists.
  21. That's what you do on this forum.
  22. The Liberals appointed a few party 'bagmen" too.
  23. You didn't respond to my last post directed at you. Hmmm. Anyway, I still want to know how Mulclair plans to finance his platform of 1 million day care positions of $15 dollars a day and his other very expensive programs he has in his platform. Obviously taxes have to be increased substantially or other programs have to be cancelled. Nice to make promises, but I want to know the facts.
  24. And the end result? Not guilty and the charges against Harb will be withdrawn with no expectation of a conviction. You can't break an imaginary law that isn't defined. The good thing that will come out of the whole affair is that there will be stringent enforced rules on what constitutes legitimate expenses. As far as the accepting a bribe, what was he accepting it for? Too much grey area. Not a chance of conviction.
  25. Here's some info on flipped classrooms. http://www.edutopia.org/blog/flipped-classroom-pro-and-con-mary-beth-hertz
