  1. Yep. Kids are taught at home by watching videos and then they come to school to do work while the teacher is the guide on the side. Teachers no longer will need to really know anything because the video will be doing the teaching and the teacher will get by on limited knowledge. More garbage from the snake oil peddlers. It's BOWLshit.
  2. I am not desperate. I am angry that so many of you are misleading the public by simply fabricating events. Shame on you and shame on those who encourage you. Why won't the Liberal party tell us how much money they paid for Liberal senator Mac Harb when he needed legal advice for his audit? Why are the Liberals hiding such info? But things should be set into perspective. It is important to know how much the LPC paid for Mac Harb's legal advice when he was being audited. The public has a right to know. Nigel Wright resigned, the PM accepted his resignation and Wright was thereby dismissed. It is IMPOSSIBLE to fire someone after they have already tendered their resignation and after such resignation has been accepted. But perhaps in your world, people can be fired AFTER they have already resigned. You want it both ways and that's not realistic.
  3. Wright said that he had no indication either way if Duffy's housing expenses were legit, OR NOT. That is what you don't want to hear. Wright has said that he did not know either way!
  4. You haven't made any rational points. I'm trying to get a discussion going.
  5. Once Canadians will hear what actual carbon reduction targets Mulcair will set if he forms government, the shift towards the CPC will take place. I am not worried about any polls taken now.
  6. The Alberta election has no resemblance to the federal one, except to say that Tom feels confident because of the Alberta NDP win. That confidence will fade sooner rather than later when and if the media gets serious enough about Canada's well being.
  7. Exactly. It is entirely plausible that the media does not care about Canada's well being.
  8. Tom and 50% carbon reduction target by 2020. Bye, bye Canada.

  9. Duffy is your hero, again. Well, Bayne knew he could take people like you for fools anytime. Bayne says thanks.
  10. The media wanted to know how much the CPC paid Duffy out of the party's fund for his legal advice used for the audit. The media sought an answer for that. But the media is not interested to find out how much the Liberal party paid for similar expenses for Mac Harb. The media simply does not ask the Liberals. The media only asks the CPC. Why is that? And why is everyone OK with the media's selective inquiries?
  11. But the info regarding party funds paid for Duffy's audit legal advice came out long, long before this trial started. Why then could the media not ask before Harb's trial starts what the LPC party had paid to him? Why the need for a trial first for this info to come out, if no one felt the need to wait untill Duffy's trial for the info to be release?
  12. Heck, even the CBC could barely fit Mac Harb's picure into their backdrop when it came to light that Liberal Mac Harb had actually claimed the most dubious expenses of all! Mac Harb was kept out of the picture as much as possible. It works better that way when wanting to create a fake scandal for the CPC. We understand. Fully.
  13. Justin taking $20,000 from the Canadian Mental Health Association thinking it was 'from the heart out'. I find that unsettling.
  14. If none of the parties get a majority of the seats, then the GG will ask Harper first if he could form government. It is entirely possible that the Liberals might be interested in forming a coalition government with the CPC for a duration of time. I am not saying that that will happen automatically. I am saying it is one of the possibilities. I am a realist. You are a speculator and a Harper hater. Enough said.
  15. Buddy, when Justin skipped Parliament in session to go give speeches to charities, taking no less than $20,000 from the Canadian Mental Health Association, Justin was doing all of that 'from the heart outward', right? Right.
  16. I believe you love fake scandals because you are frustrated as h3ll that the CPC under leadership of Harper has won three elections in a row, bigger wins each time. You tried to get rid of Harper by insisting on the so called 'secret agenda' (that tactic had such great promise, right , and when that did not work, it was the creation of a myth that Harper was a complete control freak and is a dictator (that myth making showed such great promise too right,) and then, at long last, when nothing seemed to work for the Harper haters, the fake scandal machine was set in motion. True story. We will see how well that works out for you in the end.
  17. Did Jean Chretien tell the truth to Canadian when he promised to do away with the GST? Chretien served for many years AFTER he had given you that lie in full and open view!! Do you really not know that neither Wright, or the PM or any of the senators were 100% clear on the senate rules. BUT................it was PM Harper who has always insisted that it is wrong (for anyone) to claim expenses NOT incurred. That is an ethical decision by a PM. Prime Ministers are much too busy to burden themselves with running their own office, let alone micromanaging the expense accounts of individual senators. Wright felt the tax payers did not need to pay for Duffy's GREED and Wright decided to pay the money back via Duffy. Wright wanted his name to be kept out of it, and so the lies came into play and the tempest in a teapot boiled over. Tea leaves everywhere, then and now. This Duffy/Wright affair is so blown over the top, it is almost unbecoming.
  18. It's the carbon reduction targets which are of importance. I believe that especially Mulcair is willing to set very high carbon reduction targets come the Paris meeting. That would mean that under such high target setting, the Oilsands may in fact be shut down, because Mulcair has said that the oilsands depend on what carbon reduction targets MUST be met. So, let's find out what target setting Mulcair (and Justin) actually have in mind.
  19. Right now every member of the media is enthralled with Duffy's lawyer Baynes. But that too will change. And then members of the media will want to start asking real questions.
  20. I agree with you that most members of the media are very interested in creating a false narrative, by asking Harper all sorts of loaded questions and by being extremely soft on Justin and Mulcair. I believe, however, that the most intelligent members of the media, will come to a point where they will start thinking about Canada's future as well and will leave the hyped up Duffy trial for what it is (a tempest in a teapot) and move on to the real issues facing Canada. I truly believe that.
  21. It was Duffy who claimed expenses he never ever incurred. PM Harper has always said that he would not tolerate the claiming of expenses which are not incurred. Wright had to solve a problem. Wright, or any other person did or does not know exactly if Duffy's housing expense claims were within the rules! We still don't know. Wright thought the CPC party fund should have repaid the tax payers for Duffy's greed, they did not, and then Wright decided to pay the money back to the tax payers via Duffy. Wright wanted to help solve Duffy's greed problem for Duffy as well as for the government, but he did not want to make it known that Wright himself had written the cheque, and so the lies were told to hide the fact that Wright has written a personal cheque. Subordinates of Wright acted out of loyalty to Wright to keep the payment confidential. Emails show, that indeed Duffy told Wright 3 times that Duffy himself believed he himself should pay the money back, only to change his mind again, and again, and again. So, yes, lies were told. But those lies told were not in any shape or form more serious than the lie told by Chretien when he promised to get rid of the GST but never ever did once he was in power!!. Remember: Chretien served as PM for at least 8 years after he told that GST lie. So, let us put things into perspective here and not create any more fakeness about this Duffy/Wright affair than it warrants.
  22. This campaign will get most entertaining when the members of the media start asking Tom Mulcair and Justin Trudeau what carbon reduction targets they will set if they were to form government. Tom and Justin are allowed to keep that a big secret right now. But I don't think Tom and Justin will be able to keep their suggested carbon reduction targets a secret till the end of the campaign.
  23. The NDP may be pretending they are moving to the centre, but their Policy Book clearly shows they are not. Voters should read it http://danielbeals.ndp.ca/sites/default/files/multisite/473684/field_content_files/ndp_policy_book_2013-04-17_0.pdf
  24. Why do leftists hate Israel so much? Reason: Leftists feel that everyone should suffer equally. Israel is a bastion for democracy and liberalism in the middle east, where everywhere else in the middle east, women are often stoned to death for being raped. Leftists want the entire region to be miserable just like they are.
