I think the fact that NDP member Svend Robinson wants it to be legal to bag 14 year old kids is proof enough. The fact is that the NDP was against the war in Afganistan and sided with Osama Bin Laden, or at least never found Bin Laden evil. I think that in some ways Canada does need to be respective of the fact that we have two official langauges. But at the same time the people of Canada should'nt be forced into learning new langauges, tolerance comes with experience not government intervention. However if you go through Vancouver, then you'll notice that alot of street signs are spelt in Mandirin, and in the North, alot of the inuit language is basically a second langauge. I think that we should just get rid of having official languages all together.

Alright the ACLU is America's most left leaning organization today. The ACLU is present at most pro-choice celegrations, and gay rights parades. A few years ago a young child was raped and murdered by members of NAMBLA, who recieved materials from NAMBLA on how to rape little boys. How is the conservative party like the republican party.

The fact is that christianity does consider homosexuality a deviant behavior. Any person who says it is'nt is lying. Most christians do love homosexuals, no true christian has ever attacked gays, but at the same time christians realize that gays do have problems with regards to their health and social well being. Martin Luther King would have been considered a compassionate man in the 60's, but the left would have hated him because he made a reference to the lord in his "I have a dream speech". New Democrats also want to basically ban religion from nearly every aspect of Canadian life. How is it that the left wing always complains of "Christian bigotry", yet when Christians are enslaved in Sudan, and Christians are attacked by gay extremists no body cares.

Tommy Douglas would'nt be welcome in the New Democrats today, and would be considered a nazi. Tommy Douglas was socially conservative on many issues, and was pro-life, and was for the family and working man. Douglas was a compassionate man, the New Democrats idea of compassion today is to give a partial birth abortion to a 15 year old girl, and allow NAMBLA to produce materials on man boy love.

Actually in quite a few cases people from ethnic communities get lowered standards than whites simply due to skin color. The RCMP is a good example of this were a white male will need 85% to pass a test, yet a minority will only require 63%. Employment equity has made it alot easier for minorities to gain employment more than whites, I'm actually surprised that the government of Canada does'nt try to get those immigrants with the right qualifications to work here. Guess the government is screwed up that way.

If your rule were to be applied, even ordinary Canadian criminals would have to be deported back to England and France. - ddev So Ddev you obviously believe that Canada should give asylum to those who sells drugs, bring in prostitution. A party that funds abortion with taxpayer money, supports big government, and is socially liberal on every single issue is left of centre. May I also add that the Liberals are also left of centre on economic issues such as taxes, spending money on stupid BS, etc. All are a common traits among the left of centre crowd.

Which one is more moderate and intelligent, Stephen Harper, or Paul Martin. Yesterday on CBC the liberals were trying to paint Harper as extremist, but whats so extremist about Harper. The liberals try to show that Harper as Alberta first. Just wait a minute, is'nt it Quebec that brought in more provincial rights, and took more jurisdiction over their own affairs, why is'nt Martin attacking Quebecois. If a province wants to have more jurisdiction over policing, taxes, etc. Why not, whats so horrible about it. Whats so extremist about Harper's social policies, Harper's social policies are about the same as John Kerry's, both are supportive of social unions, and both believe in free votes when it comes to abortion and gay rights. Immigration, Harper supports the current level of immigration at 250,000, whats so extremist. Harper's position on health care is the same as Kerry's and if anything is more liberal. So whats behind the liberal smear campaign of calling Harper extremist, if you say it loud enough, and enough times people will come to believe it. Hey if it worked for Hitler in the early 30's when he created the big lie, then it'll work for Martin. Shame!!!

Well, I know that terrorists tend to like to immigrate here, Time magazine did a report on Canada's lax immigration rules, and Time's a center left magazine. Immigrants in Canada get alot more rights than people think. Immigrants who commit serious crimes are rarely deported, and an immigrant in Calgary tried to kill a police constable. I think this is how the immigrant system should work - No criminal activity in the first ten years, any criminal activity and your deported - Cannot be supported on welfare for five years - Immigrants with doctorates should be allowed to work in their chosen profession - Any involvement in terrorist activities will result in deportation - Any form of treason, should be punishable by deportation

Say Maplesyrup, can you please tell us all what the Conservative party, and the Liberal's have in common, please go to the website and point out the policies that both parties have in common. The fact is that if you were to go to one of those websites that did a survey on whether a party is right wing or left wing, the conservatives would be moderates, Liberals left of centre, and NDP radical left.

I can believe Svend Robinson is under alot of stress. Always calling anybody that he does'nt like homophobic, wanting to lower the age of anal consent for boys to 14. Svend Robinson's an idiot, he stole a 50,000 dollar piece of jewllery when their were a bunch of camera's around, and then realized it would look better if he turned himself, rather than being caught. I hope he gets 6 months in jail. As for Svend's courage, whats so courageous about him, he helped kill a woman, and whenever he is criticized he always screams homophobia, the man's a coward.

I dont think that an NDP coalition with the Liberal's would work. The reason why is because the NDP is to extreme on social positions. Jack Layton would'nt even allow a free vote on same sex marriage, and would not be willing to accept civil unions, while Harper on the other hand said he supports civil unions. So Harper has to be more open minded than Layton. The Conservative's are not socially extremist either, Harper's a libertarian. All the left wing nuts have is to say that some Conservative's are pro-life and that is about it. - Don't you find it hilarious that even when Paul Martin spends a load of money on those TV adds that his popularity plummets further. -If the Liberal's go with the team martin mantra, that will ultimately lead to failure. If BC elected the NDP again than BC would basically be screwing themselves over. What BC now needs is a conservative government, BC did extremely well under conservative governments, and was a nice place to live. Unfortunately years of left wing nut governments has turned BC into a sewer.

Ralph Klein has'nt driven while impaired, he's always had a person drive for him when he has been drinking, why is it such a big deal that he drinks, all of the people in the Liberal, and New Democrat, caucaus smoked pot, and probably still do, but nobodies complained about that in the media.

Do you support hiring individuals to government positions based of race/ethnicity/sex. Is it more important to have qualified people running the country, or having people who are representative of Canadian Diversity. So with the RCMP, do you want the most qualified people to become police constables, or people who are representative of Canada's diversity.

Canada is very left wing, in the early 60's Canada's was more right wing than the US, then the cowards like Trudeau who mocked those who went to fight nazi germany got into power and destroyed this country. Pierre Trudeau had the biggest negative effect on this nation, destroyed our proud military, and cozied up to socialists. I dont think that 100,000 Canadian's died so that that A-hole could get into power and cozy up to dictators.

What do you think the roots of racism are, how does racism become predominant in a society. Right now I believe that racism may in fact be more of a product of anti-racist groups than anything else. Lets look at an example the Canadian Race Relations Foundation. The CRRF seems to be more of a organization which creates victims. They tend to blame problems within ethnic communities on police, white people, politicians, however they never are prepared to face the real problems and deal with crime in a community. They blame all problems on white people, and say that Canada has a racist history, and Canada has a racist past. Even though Canada has been more than hospitable to immigrants, and showed a large degree of compassion to people of different ethnic groups. I think that these people are not really concerned with compassion, or helping people in the ghetto, it seems that they are the same people Booker T. Say why stop at gay marriage, lets make sure that all of the values that our ancestors built, and died for is corrupted. Dont stop at gay marriage, let adults have sex with 10 year olds, who has the right to tell a person they cant have sex with a child, or possess child pornography, its none of your business. Why not allow incest, after all its none of your business if a guy wants to have sexual intercourse with his kids. Why dont we legalize prostitution, its none of your business what other people do for a living, and how about bestiality, if a guy wants to have sex with a dog, why not, after all its none of your business.
