I'm afraid that the social liberals will try taking over the party. If this party bends over backwards for social liberals, and supports gay marriage, bill C-215, abortion on demand, and government funded multiculturalism, then I'm out.

I was hoping that Harris would run, but I am now considering supporting Prentice, due to the fact that he seems to belive that social conservatives should play a part in the party, or Harper. Another option could be Ken Dryden. However if this party simply is about giving tax cuts, and only really fiscally conservative, nothing else. Than I will leave the party, and maybe join the Libertarian party, Freedom Party, or the Christian Heritage Party. I want this party to support traditional values, if it embraces the "socially liberal" policies of abortion on demand, gay rights, and euthanasia, with government funded multiculturalism, I'm out.

This poll seems poorly done. According to most polls that I have seen the new united right wing party could muster support between, 25%-35%, not 12%. As for the NDP in second, that's a load of bulls#@$. Once again, you cant trust anything coming out of the Canadian version of Pravda.

Actually Mod, the question that I would pose to homosexual activists, is why do they not condemn people like Judith Levine, and others, who openly support sexual abuse against children, and believe that 10 and 12 year olds having sex with children is good.

Mod, Judith Levine wrote a book called harmful to minor's, which claimed that sexual abuse against children is "okay". The fact that the gay rights movement has not acted to condemn people Levine, and others who claim sexaul abuse against children is good. The gay rights movement should have to answer to people why they do not outright condemn those people.

Most left wingers proudly proclaim that the older generation, which fought in world war 2, and suffered through the great depression will die off, and so will their "INTOLERANT" views. This shows how morally corrupt are society has become when we hope that the older generation will die off, so that we can completely wipe out every single value they fought for. Why is it that Canadian's want to destory, and corrupt all of the values which Canadian's spilled blood for, so that other people can say that having sex with another man is alright. We as a society put pleasure, above community, quality of life, over sanctity of life.

Yes, but if the MP is speaking for himself, and his constituents, then why not let him do so. I feel that the media has been using "Facist" tactics to make anybody who would dare stand up against the politically correct mindset in Canada. The media can easily twist up, and turn whatever a person says into something else. For example the MP said I dont believe we should have spies everywhere, we should simply have something saying that we as a society do not approve of this behavior. I also find it hard to believe that this country has tolerance for almost everything, and anything, for example terrorism, oh we should show tolerance of those who wish to see the west destroyed, we should show tolerance for pedophiles since they were "born that way", we should show tolerance for abortion. But we should be intolerant of all of those who share traditional values.

That website which was posted was fairly disgusting. In my view I believe that many gay rights activists do not see a problem with persecuting christians. One gay rights activist said of Stockwell Day, the "it reminded him of the good old days when christians were fed to the lions". Spencer is right on many points, it is true that gays have a unhealthy lifestyle, to say that it is positive to be gay to kids, is the equivalents of saying that using cocain, meth, and drugs is an acceptable lifestyle. Some lifestyles are recognized by society as harmful to people, and harmful to society. In order to stop such lifestyles which would damage the society we must do the following, outlaw activities associated with these lifestyles, sodomy, prostitution, pedophilia, bestiality, incest, and the like. Many people in this form have said that spencer is not really christians because of his views, that is false, the fact is that most christians do not embrace "homosexuality", they embrace the person, and do the best they can to help him have a good life. I for one do not believe in bringing in sodomy laws, but the fact is that homosexuality is seen as a happy lifestyle, even though most homosexual men die before their 42nd birthday. Well, 2 police officers for every thousand, was the set minimum back in 1950. I believe that we should get more police officers to go on a beat, and help people with their problems whether big or small. If their are too few police officers, then most will be busy working on larger cases, and will not be able to help people with some of their problems due to a work overload. As for the RCMP officer who was shot and killed, his name was Denis Stronquil, and was stationed in Manitoba. What is wrong with having 2 police officers for every thousand people. Most departments force officers to work 12 hour shifts, and on some nights additional police officers are needed. So it would actually mean one police officer for a thousand people. Why do you think that hiring more police officers to keep communities safe from dangerous predators, would turn this country into a police state.

Well most police officer's would say that violent crime has gone up in this country. In Edmonton their were alot of attacks on police officers. In Toronto gang shootings were on the rise I believe. It seems that the left can always say that the crime rate has decreased majorly due to statistics, yet the actual police officers on the front line say their has been an increase. The most effective way to police a country is 2 police officers per 1000 people. And I also believe that the following should be considered -creating a highway patrol, much like the one in the US, this would save resources for such agencies as the RCMP, and the Provincial Police Forces, as well as local police agencies. In Edmonton criminals who tried to injure police officer were allowed to post 3000$ bail, and once again get off. The woman who urged her boyfriend to kill a RCMP officer may get off in 3 years. I think that we should help families that are living here grow even more. The way to do it is give a large tax break to those who have children. 3000$- a year off of taxes. They had a family allowance in the 50's, and 60's, for families, and this country was able to grow.

Alberta and BC could ultimately see seperation as a last alternative, unless the Canadian electorate gets their act together. While I supported the merger, I will resign from the board, and will tear up my membership if the party is only for tax cuts and nothing else. Seperation is happening in most parts of the world right now, in Britain, taxi cab drivers have replaced the union jack, with flags of their home provinces. The same goes in every other country, such as Italy where a northern province wants special status, and recognition of its distinct culture. Seperation in countries usually occurs when multiculturalism occurs, for example in Canada, it seems that we have given up the idea of having a national identity, so the people in provicnes make their own identity. In Alberta, approximately 55%-75% of Albertans consider themselves more Albertan than Canadian. The west has developed a different culture than the rest of Canada, Western Canadian's are different from Eastern Canadians due to social, cultural, political, issues. Most Westerners tend to support Traditional Values, oppose Multiculturalism, and have a belief that the family is the building block of this society. Western Canadian's also strongly believe in democracy, when compared to eastern Canadians. While some small steps have been made provincially in some provinces towards democratic reform, no steps have been made federally. The reason no steps have been made federally is because Ontario, tends to be a bit power hungry. Most people in Ontario, I believe would reject an elected senate if it were divided as such. Western Canada-40 Seats Central Canada-40 seats Atlantic- 20 seats [Atlantic Canada would still have lots of power, due to the fact that they can decide who will pass a bill] But I doubt that would ever happen, unless Central Canada got this for representation Central Canada- 90 seats Western Canada- 5 seats Atlantic Canada- 5 seats One good reason for the west seperating is because most people in Central Canada always make stupid decisions, for example, after the provincial election in Ontario, the media blamed the fall of the PC's on the Canadian Alliance, and said that Ontario will always reject any party that supports the Alliance. [Even though Ernie Eves was a federal PC, supported gay marriage, and was a red tory] Most people in central Canada also tend to agree with the Alliance on most issues, for example in the east, nearly 50%-60% of people agreed with the Alliance, yet they would still vote for a liberal landslide. On seperation, I'm not sure if BC is that conservative, they seem to be a bit left wing, but if BC, Saskatchewan, Alberta, [Maybe Manitoba] seperated than this new country would be more powerful, and more respectul than Canada under the socialist governments from 1968-2004. Perhaps the west should consider joining the US, after all most easterners attack us, for being to "American", so why not become Americans.

Actually Boyfish is right on some points. Many immigrants have infact assimilated. Many have supported conservative causes, and supported the Canadian Alliance. However at the same time, mass immigration can be unhealthy, if balkanization were to occur.

Social Liberalism has accomplished the following - 1/3 of all women will be sexually abused by the age of 21 -50% of marriages end in divorce -we no longer value life, 100,000 abortions a year are happening in Canada -Ghettoization has been occuring in cities such as Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver -only 40% of Canadians polled said that this country is worth fighting for. -The vast majority of Canadian's are completely arrogant about the charter of rights, yet they are also proud of it -Poll after poll show that freedom of religion is put at the bottom of the list of the most importants freedom's in Canada. -Teachers will be fired for being christian -Catholic schools are forced to accomodate gays by allowing them to bring dates to the prom This seems to be what the new Canada values. However many support this destruction of Canada. Multiculturalists continue to insist that this new Canada will be made up of an ethnically diverse landscape, and we will all know that we are all minorites. However what was wrong with Canadian culture, and heritage, what was so evil about it, of course their was racism, and poverty, but why should we tear down the country and build a new one. Why should we tear down the country that 100,000 Canadian's died fighting for and start a new one. Well how are you able to destroy a country, sever its roots. The first things in order to destroy a country are -official multiculturalism, teach children at schools about our multicultural heritage at the expense of canadian history. -Immigration, after multiculturalism, bring in mass immigration, call all of those who want to embrace Canada uncle toms, and then start ghettoization, once this is done liberals must give special priviliges based on race. What type of country should we build, many may ask. My answer is simple. A color blind country, based on traditional values. -Immigration should be reduced, new immigrants must take classes learning english, and an introduction to Canadian History. Once that is done encourage immigrants to spread out across the country so as to encourage assimilation. Immigrants should become patriotic Canadian's, and should sever ties to their home country and adopt Canada. -If any immigrants commit crimes they should immediatly be deported. If a country is ready to accept people then they should work hard to make this country great, and not to exploit it. -Human Rights Boards have acted as though they are god in making decisions. They are usually all leftists, who believe their duty is to make sure that those who are not politically correct, and christians must be punished for viewing their beliefs. -Racism, Canada should outlaw such groups as the klan, and the national alliance, which are no better than Hezbollah, or the Tamil Tigers. However Canada must not punish Canadians for making politically incorrect views on matters of race, or those who are voicing an opinion against homosexaulity, that would be undemocratic. -Scrap Multiculturalism
