I recently watched a move called the Boondock Saints, it was fairly violent, and had plenty of foul language, but it had an interesting story too it. It's about these two brothers who believe they have a mission from god to kill all of those who are wicked. You hear in the news about pedophiles getting out of prisons, rapists being allowed to walk the streets who are still a threat to society, and drug dealers caught with alot of crack who get soft sentences. Some people should not be allowed to live in this society, if thier only goal in life is to kill, rape, cheat, steal, and sexually abuse younger children, they do deserve to die. However we as a society must also give some people a chance to redeem themselves, and help those who want help, to get back on their feet.

Siriff, I meant this absolute stupidity of not even being allowed to say anything that sounds even remotely christian. Like you cant say merry christmas anymore because you would offend people of other religions, you cant sing christmas carrols anymore because they deal with christ's birthday. The fact is that children are impressionable, and this can shape their views on society. I'm not for censorship, however we should not allow any person under 18 to buy this crap, it should be the same as cigarettes and porno, due to the fact that it can have a negative effect on kids and teens.

Alright first of all, I have a few points to make. Most rap is targeted at youths, its not targeted at middle age people, the fact is that hateful music, violent music, is influencing this generation, and has turned some people to a life of crime, because this music glorifies it so much. It is also pretty sad when people say that the "Passion", a movie about Jesus Christ, produces hate, yet Fuck Tha Police, and Tupac Shakur, are all artists, just trying to make who have helped society. By the way I think that we in society should respect police officer's to, the fact is that police officer's are people to, and risk their lives everyday making sure that your community is safe, so I think that we should be a little bit concerned that this generation hates police officer's with such a passion. Well, mod, I would say you are right that people should start thinking for themselves. However, the point that I was trying to make was that music can sometime's shape people's values. I think that if you read the lyrics, the message is that cops deserve to be killed. If your a parent you have very little control over what your kids listen to at schools, or even at home. Well, I think my point was that police officer's were being harassed at my school. The fact is that popular culture is having a negative affect on this generation. You have also forgotten that most school shootings were probably caused by people being bullied, and that pretty well all school shooters were influenced by negative popular culture. If a black kid listens to a song calling all police officers racist pigs, and asking blacks to kill that police officer, that has influenced a person, and that person may go out and kill. All of that crap does affect kids in some way or another. I believe that we should debate whether or not a society should embrace this crap, or if we should do everything in our power to make sure that this crap does not have a negative effect on kids. Lets face it, music has shaped peoples views, and fashions from the beginning of time. I think that some of the older members that listened to the beatles, and the beach boy's, and tried dressing like the beack boys, and beatles, and becoming, in a way the artists. Many people's views were also shaped by musicians, like Bob Dylan, and some musicians who treated drugs, like an heavenly experience, many people tried drugs, and it ended up in death. However with the explosion of Hip Hop, this generations values are changing also. Today in my school, most people listen to Rap. Many of my friends in junior high, never listened to Rap, Hip Hop, or music that was negative in nature. However in high school my friends and many other people started listening to rap, hip hop, and other music. And all of a sudden they started to hate "Pigs" [cops], whenever a police officer came to my school, people would actually give him the middle finger, and all I ever heard was "pig" being said by students. Most students at my school now do some form of drugs, and many try to mirror the "gangsta's" they listen to. I watched one of fifty cents video's, where he depicted police officer's as evil, and as racist "pigs". I am right now having trouble deciding who would be a good choice for the presidency of the US. I dont like Bush's imperialist impulse to attack any nations who disagree with the US. I would like to find a candidate who best suits me beliefs of what America should be as a nation. I visited the democratic candidates sites, but to many had alot of socially liberal BS, I was thinking of going with Howard Dean, but he to has moved leftward since he began his presidential campaign. I think that I will vote for Dean, he may provide a middle of the road approach on the issues, and protect peoples freedoms, and he would also make American's more safe than Bush did. I also think that he is open to some of the social conservative arguments of abortion, gay rights, abortion.

Here is my vision of what Canada should be guided by in the 21st century. I would say that we need to look at our past, and ask ourselves what we did right, and what we did wrong. -On the family, our society should be based on the nuclear family, and it should be seen as the building block of any nation. A family unit is where the next generation gets their values, and work ethic, in order to be successful in the future. In order to protect the family, and for the family unit to be successful the following should be put in place. * a 3000$ tax break for every child born * we should keep the family as a unit between a man and woman and nothing else, we should restrict adoption to heterosexual couples. This is not based on bigotry but on the fact that a child needs a female and male influence in their life, and this would provide a positive home life. We as a society should value human life, and should also value responsibility, and encourage responsible and healthy lifestyles in society. * make physical fitness a core subject in schools, forcing students to be as physically fit as possible. * encourage competitive sports among children, I did not play any sports, however I now am doing alot of jogging, and working out. *We should not legalize any drugs, and we should also fund programs to help prevent drug use by students. * On gay rights, we should allow gays to do their thing, however we should not put sexual orientation in the charter, and we should get rid of gay positive programs, due to the fact that they create hostility towards religous groups. Our freedoms are necessary for this country to prosper, however measures must be enacted to protect our freedoms from special interest groups. * we must enact bills, and laws, which would do away with human rights commissions, who are turning into a thought police. Christians have recently been discriminated against, for their beliefs on homosexuality this is unacceptable. No matter what your religous beliefs, you should be protected under law. So far, feminists, multiculturalists, and gay rights activists have done whatever they can to make politically incorrect views illegal. Democracy must prevail in Canada, however the decision making has been taken away from elected representatives, and the courts are making decisions on social issues this must stop. * Canada should make major democratic reforms which would see the house of commons make decisions on social issues, not the courts, and human rights commissions. * The senate should be elected, the seat distribution should be as follows 40-west 40-central 20-Atlantic The reason behind this is that if the west and central Canada ever disagree on an issue, atlantic canada would be the ones to make the final decision, and could also act as a peacemaker. * We must allow democracy, and debate on all issues. For example -if Larry Spencer believes that homosexual relations should be illegal, allow him to make his case to the people of Canada, and he should be free to do this without being called a bigot or homophobe. And the people of Canada should make a decision based on what they think is right for the country. The same would go for Svend Robinson, let him speak his mind, and let the people make a decision. Canada should protect our enviroment, in order to do this we should start to have larger areas where the natural enviroment is protected, we should keep this countries natural beauty. Fiscal Issues We should have alot of fiscal responsibility in government. We should have smaller government, and let people take control of their own affairs economically. At the same time the government should protect small businesses from large corporations who are trying destroy small businesses. In my community we had alot of small community businesses, however wal mart came in, and most of their businesses began to shut down. We should tax foriegn corporations who come into this country and build stores. Feel free to put your vision of Canada as well. I will probably add on to my vision of Canada. Recently I have been visiting Howard Dean's site, its seems that he moved more to the left since he first became a candidate. Howard Dean I believe would have had a great vision of America, however he started to pander to more leftist groups along the way.

Well, homosexuality is not the same as civil rights in the 60's. People are born black, they have no choice in it, and you should never be judged by physical characteristics, but by the content of your character, and your actions. On the other hand, homosexuality is a SEXUAL BEHAVIOR, homosexuality is no different than pedophilia, beastiality, incest, etc. They are all different sexual behaviors which were considered immoral until now. What has socially liberal, progressive policies done for Canada. - 30% of pregnancies end up in abortions, 100,000 unborn babies die off each year - a large outbreak of STD's in large cities such as Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal - Gang violence on the increase in this country - Police officer's being attacked more often by criminal's - Students as young as 12, learning about how to have safe anal sex - safe drug sites, for drug users, while this may help extend their lives, those people are still living in a sewer. - 50% of marriages ending in divorce This is not a compassionate society, a compassionate society would not accept homosexuality as a alternative lifestyle, due to the fact that it has negative affects on a person's personal life, and their physical life [the average life expectancy for gays is 42]. However a compassionate society would not abolish, or do away with gays, a compassionate society would help them get out of that lifestyle. On abortion, no compassionate society would support killing the unborn. Children should be cherished in this society. Instead of getting teenage, unwed, girls to go to the abortion clinic, we as a society should help them raise their children, and help them in anyway possible. We as a society should not decriminilize drugs. The fact is that drugs infact hurt a person, It is my belief that if we decriminilize all drugs, that we will basically say that we as a society support drug use, we should keep it outlawed, and should jail those people who would sell crystal meth, to kids in grade school. Canada should re-instate a tax credit, which should be at around $3,000 for every child a family has, this would help with a childs educations, and this would also allow the mother time off work to help take care of the children.

Well, the guy should have definitely gotten longer jail time. I could also argue that today's approach to sexuality issues is, "Do whatever feels good, and forget about the consequences". In today's classrooms sex ed teachers talk about how to have safe oral, and anal sex, they teach this stuff to kids who are 12,13,14. It seems very normal to kids these days, and popular culture always sends a message that sex is great, and it is normal to have sex with as many people as you want. This culture finds it alright to have one nights stands, if the birth control fails, than an abortion will do the trick. After all 30% of pregnancies end up in abortions. If I was to ever have sexaul relations with anybody it would be the person that I would want to spend the rest of my life with, and the person who I would want to marry. First of all, Harper did alot better job as leader of the Alliance, than Peter Mackay did of the PC's. I do not believe that Harper put the Alliance way down in the polls either, to base people's success on what a pollster says is absolutely stupid, especially if it comes from the CBC, Canada's Pravda, whose pollsters always rave that politicians should make positions based on polls, and not on principle. However if he supports a socially liberal platform than I will support Stephen Harper. One question that I would have for Benard Lord is, why did he allow gay marriage in NB, he should have token the same steps as Alberta. I also find it strange that Gugsy has been infuriated over the Alberta Agenda, when Ontario, and Quebec have the same measures in those provinces, which seems hypocritical, Ontario and Quebec can have it, but those people in the colony of Alberta can't. May I also add that Mackay, and the PC's were not that popular with Mackay, that is one of the most idiotic things I have ever heard in my life. The PC's and Alliance were always basically at the same level 15%-20%, may I also add that Gugsy you usually watches the CBC, so he might believe half of the crap pravda spews out of the television. Is'nt it interesting that communist boy, can only come up with stuff that Canada did good for us in the west, that are more than 100 years old. It would be an interesting race if more people ran, but I think that I will go for Stephen since he has experience, is intelligent, and has a strategic mind. We should not quickly elect a person involved only in provincial politics, due to the fact that provincial and federal politics are completely different, a perfect example is Stockwell Day, who should consider running for the leadership.

I completely agree that Police Officer's do not get the respect they deserve. In Calgary one police officer had to shoot and kill a man who had tried to kill the officer, people in the sudanese community wanted that officer fired. Most police officer's are also under alot of pressure from the politically correct, and ultra-liberal government in Ottawa. I would like to become a mountie, however the hiring practices brought forward by the government are extremely biased against young white, caucasian males. For your RPAT, you must have the following scores. White, male- 86% White, Female- 74% Ethnic Minority- 63% My own view on policing is this, we should hire those who are most qualified for the job. I wanted to become a police officer ever since I was little, and would like to become part of the proud tradition of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, unfortuantely for me, in five years, if Sheilla Copp's has her way, no white males will be eligible for the police department. I'm sure this would seem fair to Siriff, and Hardner but. One point I would like to also bring up is the issue of allowing a sihk to wear a turban instead of a stetson with his traditional uniform, I am against allowing the Stetson to be replaced by the Turban, the reason why is simple, the RCMP has alot of tradition, and if you are not willing to make a few changes to your dress, or wear a stetson for a few days in the year while you are an RCMP officer than do not join the RCMP. On racial profiling, the CBC had a big program on how police officer's racially profile ethnic minorities, that is complete BS, the people who complain about racial profiling usually hope to make some money by bringing out the race card, and saying that police are racist, their is no racial profiling, but their is criminal profiling. For example, if I saw a kid walking around at night, dressed up as a punk, I would probably question him about what he was doing, if a black, or asian, was dressed up like a gangster, late at night, I would probably be suspicous of what the person was doing. No police officer wakes up in the morning and says I'm going to shoot an ethnic minority today, or say that they are going to track down those dangerous minorities. They are simply doing their job, and the media tries to demonize them as best they can.

I still believe that Pat Buchanan would make a great president. While I do have some trouble with some of the people who claim to support him, he seems to be a lot more moderate than most claim. On immigration he belives that those who commit crime, and those who come to exploit America should be expelled, how would this be considered extremist. On Abortion he is staunchly pro-life His view of America is one of a traditionalist, color blind, society, one which valued the sanctity of life, the importance of family and community, and pride in our nation. Neo-conservative's seem to have token over the Bush Administration. It seems to me that the war in Iraq has been a waste, considering their was no real threat. And even while the government spends billions on Iraq, the manufacturing jobs are being cut by the day, creating problems for families. America should return to the days when it took a non-interventionist approach, in World War 2, the strategy which the Allies should have had in place, was one where the Germans and Soviets, duked it out destroying each other, and then the Allies took over Germany, and then took eastern Europe from Italy, once this was done, the Allies could have easily contained the spread of communism, and Eastern Europe would not have been enslaved by commie pigs. On free trade, I do not see how free trade has helped the family, free trade has worked for Canada and the US, I support free trade between Canada and the US, and always will. However free trade should not extend to other parts of the world, this serves corporations good since they can get cheap labour, however families which rely on manufacturing jobs will be in a rut. Free trade to Mexico has also made it easier for drig dealers to transport drugs.

Get rid of the charter of rights and that will solve all our problems. Lets look at what happened in the US, the founding fathers never dreamed that the constitution would turn America into a judicial dictatorship, and in Canada, we turned into a judicial dictatorship when Pierre Trudeau took over. So instead we should have a bill of rights, which should not be interpeted by judges but by the people, this could be done through elected representatives, or through a direct democracy, much like Switzerlands.

I find it hard to believe that 100,000 Canadian's, went and died, fighting against the commies in Korea, the nazis in Europe, and also fought in the trenches in world war 1. Yet today most Canadian's 44%, I believe said they strongly believe that this country is not worth dying for. When my family came to this country, we thought that we were going to live in a country where life was respected above all else, we would be free to work, and that this country would value families. Not anymore!!! Now those on the social left have nearly destroyed the country that my family, helped build, social liberals have turned this country into a moral sewer. In Edmonton the mayor did not want to have a gay pride parade, and the people of Edmonton agreed with him, yet once again a HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION said that you are violating human rights if you do not allow a gay pride parade. Pierre Trudeau also turned this country into a sewer, he was a commie, and supported the nazis in world war 2. Now he is the "man who made Canada", he did not have anything to do with Canada, my family helped build this country into what it is today, the only thing that he did was piss on this country, and its values. This is the type of country I believe that Canada should be A country built on hard work, and free enterprise, not welfare. A country built on traditional values and the family, and not a moral sewer. A country with a proud history, and a strong military A Canada which strongly values the sanctity of life above all else.
