The Green supporters must see the clear writings on the wall. Although some are staunch Green, no matter what....surely not all of them would want to waste their votes, but rather use them strategically. Which Party is more likely to get the greens? Somebody told me that environment-aside, the Green is closer to Conservative values. Is that true?

What I want to know is the motive of Dosanjh. He almost lost the last election. There was a recount if I'm not mistaken. He's on the edge. The way allegations are flying around these days....like the Liberals are in a weird frenetic voodoo dance....I don't even wanna care even if he say Young gave Malik the bomb to blow Air India up!

Media gave a new name to Harper, Teflon Harper. Why doesn't anything stick to him, they wonder out loud. Scandals after scandals, controversies and allegations...they all just bounce off him! I began to really pay close attention to Harper...to see if there's any change in him...watching for tell-tale signs of that teflon they're talking about. What I saw were more white hairs! Omigosh, those Opposition turned him gray overnight! He really needs the majority. Anyway, it occurred to me after a while, it's not because of teflon why nothing sticks to him. Nothing is wrong with his skin! It's because of the Oppositions, with the help of the media. One allegation after another. One "expose'" after another. And the media doesn't bother filtering or screening...they report each and every little thing. So we're saturated. It's like the bloody Boy Who Cried Wolf! Except this one still keeps crying...doesn't know when to quit! We've reached saturation point. People just tune them out. Since January of this year alone.....how many allegations, expose', scandals have been dug up and/or brought forth by the Oppositions? This week alone - right after Ignatieff made that Mansbridge interview - Goodale gave a conference and was whining about something to the press, and there was I think one or two more incidents...heck, I can't keep up! And now, just see how they ramp up....it's like nearing the peak of orgasm! Do you remember what they are? How good is your memory? Just for curiousity sake, let's put up the list of whines.

When he belittled Jack at the debate - it was a downright personal punch and you could see in Jack's face that he got offended or hurt....but Jack is head-and-shoulder above Ignatieff in my view, for keeping his temper in check! Let me put it this way. Who's desperately scrambling to move up the polls? Who's in danger of becoming the third party? Who's been desperately digging up dirt from 2004, from 2005, from 2008. Who's complaining about anything...the Conservatives could hardly toot without the Liberals making an issue of everything! Who's the #1 baby-whiner? Ha-ha-ha, I'd put my money it's the Liberals who's doing this so-called vandalism! That's an old cheap trick in banana republics!

Do I assume then that though from the outset it seems to me that everything is fine and dandy in our multi-cultural society....there is a simmering resentment - which is an understatement considering the strong words coming from one or two posters - underneath the current? That chances are, these are not just isolated sentiments held by said community members....but rather held by many who are just too Canadianly-polite that they try to keep these feelings in check? There is something terribly wrong with our Immigration system. Let's face it. Multi-culturalism doesn't work. Just look at Europe, and the problems they're having now. To question it is not being racist. And I don't think Mike or Mr Canada are being racists when they said the words that they did. People are getting angry. Frustrated. How do you think that man who qualified as a candidate for supervisory position only to end up getting zilch feels about the system and the threat of what would be a surging mass of immigrants - if either the Liberals or NDP or Coalition wins - coming to town? That echoes what Mikedavid was trying to say regarding his employment. If you Liberals/NDP are true to your values as to equality for all - then, no one should be discriminated, not even ageing white males. We have to start with our politicians. They shouldn't be allowed to use Immigration as a tool to further their own personal political ambitions at the expense of our country and its citizens. These politicians should be made to answer to us when they include dubious policies in their platforms that make no sense....such as this reunification platform by both the Liberals and NDP, which is actually an invitiation to massive EXODUS!

If Dosanjh doesn't agree with the court's decision, tough luck! He is in Canada....not some banana republic! Unless of course they want to turn Canada into one. So he's campaigning with that guy, so what? That acquitted man has every right to attend any public functions....to endorse whom he wants!

I can understand your frustration...and your anger. These days, there is indeed descrimination towards older white males when it comes to employment! If you fit that profile and you happen to be competing for a job with visible minorities...chances are, you won't get in. I know of a white, older man who applied for this temporary employment with the Census. He was among a handful who got interviewed for a supervisory position because he scored high in the exam. In the interview he was asked if he'd consider the non-supervisory position if he didn't get hired as a supervisor (they need only 1 in his area), and he said yes. He had excellent reference from his previous employers. Lo and behold, he didn't get any position at all! You'd think he'd at least get hired as a field agent! As for work ethics, that depends. I've worked with whites....and minorities who had excellent work ethics! I've also worked with minorities....and whites who had awful work ethics, or you can say none at all! We've got minorities who'd had excellent education. Their command of English (written and spoken) would put a lot, if not most of our college-educated Canadians to shame! A lot excel in their own niche. Asians are mostly in Research/Science/Technology, whereas some race - because of their own cultural background - seem to excel in healthcare, education, childcare, housekeeping etc., A lot of minorities are not ashamed - nor do they think it's beneath them - to take any menial jobs! They fill up the positions that others wouldn't touch. A lot of them stay on their jobs longer...they don't seem to move around so much (which is good news for employers since they don't go through the hiring/training process -which means added expenses - quite often.) I'm not saying all minorities are worth having in this country. Like all others, there are good ones...and rotten ones. What we need is a way of discerning which are the good ones. It's only sensible. If employers are choosing ones which they think would be beneficial for their organizations - and willing to pay for those - then why shouldn't a country be choosy as to who they should let in? Hearing them talk in their tongues doesn't bother me. I don't understand French, so there's no difference there for me. It will bother me though if a public servant don't speak to me in the language that I can understand.....especially if I'm in need of assistance! After all as a taxpayer, I'm paying for that, am I not? Seeing them in their turbans doesn't bother me...nor does it bother me to see someone in a baseball cap whether out or indoors (although I do have the urge to fix the cap that's worn backwards!) Now, burquas are a different matter....but that's a whole new topic (or not so new).

Well in 2004 Harper said he was not talking about a coalition. Anyway, why didn't Layton and Diuceppe bring that accusation up until now? Furthermore, it's "he said, they said" scenario. If I'm not mistaken, Layton and Diuceppe said they all signed. Where is the copy of the paper that they all signed? All Layton or Diuceppe have to do is bring a copy out and let the media scrutinize it to their hearts' content! You'd think these two will trip over each other in their haste to provide the proof!

And we're supposed to take your word for it.
