Who knows, who cares, being Canadian as opposed to American and all? What we do know is that our illustrious leader (so called) raided the CPP to the tune of $4.7 billion to buy an old pipeline that we didn't have to buy if he'd done his job instead of trying to play both sides of the issue. What we do know is that he now plans to raid CPP for billions more for his green agenda. I guess someone (Butts) pointed out to him that CPP represents a huge piggy bank to play with at our expense. Makes swing sets and golf carts look like small potatoes in contrast doesn't it.

Millenials might end up with no CPP.

Heck, even we could lose our CPP.

  9. Mainstream media didn't report about Wilkinson's harassment of Sarah Sanders - following her to another establishment, organizing a group to scream at her.   The owner (?) of that other restaurant confirmed it.

I suppose you can view it that way, if you're a gold medalist in mental gymnastics. Non gold medalist's would see it as selective reporting in order to further a narrative tied to a particular agenda. You just keep vaulting away though.

My "leftwing sources" are mainstream sources that use verifiable facts. You don't even trust your sources enough to cite them. It's funny how, on the one hand, you argue in favour of this policy and yet you aren't brave enough to own it. Instead you have to make up BS about Obama to justify it, as though, if Obama did it, caging innocent children would be okay.

  13. First Japan.   Now, South Korea also bans Canadian import.   These two are buddies of Trump.  Coincidence?   Could they be helping put the squeeze on Trudeau?

Poor Harry, and Meghan.    I dunno why Merkle's dad's revealing private conversations.    I have that nasty feeling that this dad will be an embarassment to his daughter.  Apparently royals are not supposed to talk politics.

Too bad nobody cared about the kids when Obama did it.

America has millions of children  living in poverty  homeless children! What about them?

Why are illegals who put their children in this position more important than those kids?

10,000 currently in custody where sent alone by their parents.

    3. BubberMiley

      BubberMiley

That's a lot of deflection in one post.

Obama had a zero tolerance policy that sought to discourage immigration by putting kids more than 20 to a cage? Nope. Someone lied to you again and you believed them again.

The rest is a pretty weak argument. I bet years from now, when this is all over and Trump is dead, you will deny ever arguing in favour of caging children.

    4. scribblet

      scribblet

I'm not in favour of 'caging children' but keep on denying that it didn't happen under Obama.

I am however in favour of sending a message to those who cross illegally and also send their kids unaccompanied.

The U.S. is taking in around 250 kids per day at that rate there will tens of thousands of them to process and look after. Up to now around 12,000 of these kids are unaccompanied minors – so no parents with them.  It’s child abuse to send your kids into another country with gangs/cartels and smugglers.

Family who arrive at ports of entry and request asylum will not be prosecuted because they have not attempted to enter the country illegally

  15. Behind the scenes of G7 Summit!  Hahahaha

Like I've mused before......what better place to have them all lined up in one room than in that summit?

At one point, he described migration as a big problem for Europe, before telling Abe: “Shinzo, you don’t have this problem, but I can send you 25 million Mexicans and you’ll be out of office very soon.” The jab created a sense of irritation in the room, an EU official said.

The source added that when the topic turned to Iran and terrorism, Trump took aim at French President Emmanuel Macron, saying: “You must know about this, Emmanuel, because all the terrorists are in Paris.”

European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker also came under fire and was repeatedly described by Trump as a “brutal killer” in reference to the bloc’s billions of dollars in antitrust and tax fines against U.S. tech companies.

The G7 has outlived its usefulness. The politics of member countries have changed since it was formed in the 70s. For example, Canada has veered to the left and Trudeau is more concerned about raising gender issues and climate apocalypse than advancing democracy, which should be the focus of these talks.

  21. Uh-oh.   Italy's PM just got himself in-lined with Trump regarding Putin.

And, Japan's Abe is more keen on North Korea discussion than the tarriff.

The Group of Seven or G7 is a group consisting of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States. These countries, with seven of the largest advanced economies in the world,[1] represent more than 62% of the global net wealth ($280 trillion). [2][3] The G7 countries also represent 46% of the global gross domestic product (GDP) based on nominal values; and 32% of the global GDP based on purchasing power parity.[4][not in citation given] The European Union is also represented at the G7 summit.

  22. Austria to close down 7 mosques and expel imams!

    Quote

Austria’s government said Friday that it is closing seven mosques and plans to expel imams in a crackdown on “political Islam” and foreign financing of religious groups.

Chancellor Sebastian Kurz said the government is shutting a hardline Turkish nationalist mosque in Vienna and dissolving a group called the Arab Religious Community that runs six mosques.

“Parallel societies, political Islam and tendencies toward radicalization have no place in our country,” Kurz told reporters in Vienna.

There is no way the Islamophiles would ever allow mosques in Canada to be scrutinized,

Wow!  Who knew that Islamophiles held so much power in Canada as to prevent the carrying out of legal investigations!

Or is this perhaps just more of the alt-right propaganda about the dangers of immigration, Muslims and the Leftist agenda to ruin Canada?  Not that anyone here is alt-right of course; merely a bunch of citizens concerned about immigration, Islam and the leftist agenda to ruin Canada.

Some of you folks should find some historical propaganda and do a comparison on what you believe about Muslims and Islam against the claims made against the Irish, Jews, Catholics, Japanese and Eastern Europeans at different times in history.  Perhaps the similarities would make you as sick as they made me.
