  1. I hope these three are voted out. They don't deserve to be MPs since they pose a threat to democracy! Ya’ara Saks, Marci Ien, and Karina Gould Three Liberal MPs have been ordered by the Federal Court to unblock Rebel News on X and pay $1,750. The ruling came after Rebel News was victorious in a lawsuit against Guilbeault, who blocked Rebel founder and owner Ezra Levant on the social media platform. “What’s so crazy is that they’re doing to us exactly what Steven Guilbeault, Trudeau’s extremist environment minister, did to us — and he was smashed in Federal Court,” said Rebel News. Guilbeault allegedly ordered his government department to block Rebel on X. The news organization could not receive any government news updates from the environment minister’s department. “We couldn’t read anything, we couldn’t reply, and of course we couldn’t ask him journalistic questions on Twitter. We were effectively kicked out of the public square, which is what Twitter has become,” said Levant. “We were banned from a government service just because we disagreed with a politician.” “The Federal Court ordered three more Liberal ministers to unblock Rebel News on Twitter. Ya’ara Saks, Marci Ien, and Karina Gould are forbidden to block us for the rest of their careers. They were also ordered to pay us $1,750. The money arrived. They made taxpayers pay!” https://tnc.news/2024/02/27/federal-court-ordered-liberal-unblock-rebel-fine/
  2. .....or, Justin and Singh are secretly communicating. Singh could try to continue to prop up Trudeau for as long as he can....................in exchange for something. Singh is afraid of an election, not only in fear for his pension, but also as to where they are actually in the polls. Angus' statement regarding Poilievre, might be a way of setting the stage for that scenario.
  3. OH, BOY! Well - now that Jagmeet Singh's pension is quite a well-known subject....... ...............................I suppose Singh doesn't dare come out to say he will lie again, and won't back Poilievre's plan to bring down the government. Instead, he has Angus to say it for him. NDP MP says he won't play Poilievre's 'procedural games' to bring down Trudeau https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/canada/ndp-mp-says-he-wont-play-poilievres-procedural-games-to-bring-down-trudeau/ar-AA1wIgBQ So, we know what to expect from the NDP. Canadians are hurting, and something dire is coming this way...................... soon. I hope Jagmeet Singh would stop playing games.
  4. The Conservatives will force a non-confidence motion this January. Ms Rempel explains how. If all goes according to the Conservatives' plan, MPs in the House of Commons could be voting on a motion of non-confidence in Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's government as early as Jan. 30. In a letter posted to X on Friday, Conservative MP John Williamson, who chairs the standing committee on public accounts, said the committee will meet on Jan. 7 to consider a motion of non-confidence in the government. Williamson said he will introduce the result of the committee's non-confidence vote to the House on Jan. 27, when Parliament returns from its six-week winter break. If the motion passes, this opens the door for all MPs to debate a non-confidence motion in the House as early as Jan. 30. "The NDP is prepared to support a committee-level non-confidence statement that describes how the Liberals let Canadians down," NDP House Leader Peter Julian said in a statement on Friday. "In the past non-confidence motions passed at committee have not worked, so we will be ready with our own motion of non-confidence. Nothing guarantees Williamson's move will survive committee or pass in a final vote, and Singh could opt to instead wait for the NDP's own opportunity to craft the wording over the key vote, then try to claim credit for toppling the government should his motion pass. https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/conservative-non-confidence-1.7419297
  5. How much more are MPs who still support Trudeau, willing to endure? Don't tell us you're hanging in there because it's your job. Your job isn't to show your loyalty to TRUDEAU! You're elected to represent the people! Your job is to do what's for the best interest of CANADA! You're stupid if you think Trudeau is best for Canada. You don't deserve that seat.
  6. Thanks for that. Will have to re-post it.
  7. Irrelevant. Create your own thread for it! This topic is on Poilievre - why he's the only option!
  8. I said, there's no comparison to be made since we're getting both. Unless Trump backs off, we'll get hit by the 25% tariff, and we're also going to get the Carbon Tax on April. It's not like it's a choice between the two. I don't know what you're on about. Will you explain your point. Or.....liberals are really poor at logic? 😁
  9. There's no comparison! We'll get BOTH -if Trump doesn't back off and if Poilievre doesn't become PM!!
  10. And....... Yup. A relentless "ankle-biter," can be a very good thing. Especially when you know where, and how to bite! Poilievre, is a master! He can wear down an opposition................................just as a persistent teener can wear down his parents! 😁
  11. Poilivre gave an amazing well-balanced response to Trump! Poilievre is a diplomatic, no-nonsense Patriot. Surely, Trump can recognize, and respect that. timer - 20:25 .....I've already said Canada will never be the 51st state we are a proud people with a heroic past and a brilliant future, we are the best friend in the world to the United States which is the greatest military and economic superpower the world has ever seen. the president has raised some concerns about the border and Military I will rebuild our border and our military to put those concerns to rest. our economy we will bring home but I will also defend production to this country with uh a with massive tax relief and fast speeding up permits so that we are less Reliant and more strengthened against these kinds of risks and all of that will be good for Canadians be good for Americans what we really need though president Trump has made it clear he wants to put America First, well all the more to him. I'm going to put Canada first...... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IT-ezCClk9Y&embeds_referring_euri=https%3A%2F%2Fdebatepolitics.com%2F
  12. Since Canada's biggest threat right now is Trump's tariff...... A strong possibility.................... Poilievre might already have Elon Musk on his side to bat for him, when he goes negotiating with Trump. Why do I say that? Because, he's caught the attention - and admiration - of Elon Musk! Poilievre’s polite responses while eating an apple has received attention across the globe. The video also received coverage on Fox News and Britain’s Daily Mail, and has millions of views on social media site X. “Guess he like them apples,” Elon Musk wrote in response to the video. “Never heard of him before, but this interview is (fire emojis),” he added in another comment. https://torontosun.com/news/national/video-of-apple-munching-poilievre-challenging-reporters-questions-goes-viral The fire emoji is a flame that is mostly yellow with a little red on the top. It is used to signify that something is cool, awesome, exciting, or more colloquially, “on fire.” https://www.dictionary.com/e/emoji/fire-emoji/ Let's not discount the fact that Musk also has Canadian citizenship.
  13. Poilievre knows how to get things done! He knows how to....................................... "speak their language." He's a go-getter.................................just like them! Of course, I'm thinking of Trump and Elon Musk. Elon Musk Grants Pierre Poilievre’s Wish, Labels CBC As ‘Government-Funded Media’ The move comes after Twitter tagged NPR, PBS, and BBC with the same label, and less than a week after Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre wrote to Twitter owner Elon Musk, asking to “accurately label CBC as ‘government-funded media.’” https://thedeepdive.ca/elon-musk-grants-pierre-poilievres-wish-labels-cbc-as-government-funded-media/
  14. Some anti-Poilievre accused him of going over the Prime Minister's head, when he wrote to the Gov gen. Hello? Anything active in that skull? Why wouldn't he? Why shouldn't he? Where's Trudeau amid all these snafu? Hey - if our supposed PM is inactive, and stiff-frozen in the basement - someone has to take the reins and lead, you know. That's what I mean by initiative! Poilievre seems to have the natural talent to lead!
  15. The only one with topnotch leadership skills to lead us, especially through this dark times, is Pierre Poilievre. First of all, Canada wouldn't be in such a mess without Trudeau's enablers in Chrystia Freeland, Jagmeet Singh and Yves Blanchet. They've all done their part in propping up Trudeau! All those who had stood by Trudeau, had propped him up and had caused so much damage to Canada. If Carney was an adviser to Trudeau - then, he's one of them too! They all have to OWN that! Why do I say Poilievre's the only option as Prime Minister? He's got the INITIATIVE that the other opposition leaders don't have. Some anti-Poilievre are ciriticizing him for writing the letter to the Gov Gen, urging her to use her authority to recall Parliament. I say, There's nothing for Poilievre to lose in trying. RIGHT? Given the gravity of our situation.......................at least, give him points for trying to do something! Even if it's just for trying! Obviously....... He is a fighter! He didn't just say, "Meh. I can't do that. The GOV-GEN won't go for it." Everyone is calling this tariff, a 5-alarm fire. Lol, given that there will be Carbon Tax coming too...................................you could really say, it's existential threat for many Canadians! Lol - if your house is gonna burn down, wouldn't you try anything and everything to save it? If Poilievre thinks the country is in a dire situation - to promptly act on it, and try every avenue he possibly can, to get us an early election....................... ...................just shows his STRONG leadership! He doesn't quit or give up easily! Imho - that's the kind of leader we need.............................. especially at a time like this!
  16. He'll get an early start! Lol - don't put it off if you can pull it now! Yes - NOW! If it's even possible - in January!
  17. Sorry, folks! I got taken in! Not as early as I thought - IF Singh does do what he says. Oh lol - Singh is trying to pull a fast one! Poilievre has just explained it in his latest press conference and few minutes ago. It means, he'll topple down Trudeau around MARCH!
  18. Just in! He'll bring in a non-confidence motion in the next sitting!!! NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh released a letter addressed to Canadians saying his party will vote to bring down the Liberal government. Thank you to CTV and BT interviewers who relentlessly pinned him down and showed how ridiculous his position was!
  19. Let's not forget that many of Trudeau's reckless spendings were due to NDP Singh extortion method! Is he planning to pile more spendings from Trudeau? While I can understand Trudeau's cling to power - after all, the Liberal Party has no way of getting him out - and it's his prerogative as leader to stay on if he wants to. Jagmeet Singh's pathetic nonsense support for Trudeau on the other hand, really baffles the mind! It's up to Canadians to push Singh to call an election! SHAME HIM!
  20. Canadians should give SINGH the message loud and clear! I'm glad his poll is down to just 18% now. Get him to be the lowest polling Party leader the NDP has ever had!
  21. He'd concluded that Trudeau is ruining the country - and yet, he's still not calling an election! How much more damage does Singh wants to happen to Canada before he calls an election? The threat of the 25% tariff is real. Canadians will feel it - and add the CARBON TAX coming on April to that!
  22. Jagmeet Singh is the only one standing in the way of an election that Canada needs NOW! Not only because of his pension - is he planning to extort more favours from Trudeau? He's getting pinned down by questions, and yet he prefers to make himself look like a fool with his senseless answers!
  23. "Two Second Cup café locations at Montreal’s Jewish General Hospital have been shut down after the reported franchise owner was filmed making Nazi references at a pro-Palestinian protest on Thursday. The franchisee, identified by Foodtastic employees as Mai Abdulhadi, was recorded outside Concordia University giving the Nazi salute and appearing to tell pro-Israel counter-protesters: “The final solution is coming your way — the final solution. You know what the final solution is?”" https://montrealgazette.com/news/local-news/we-cant-tolerate-that-second-cup-boss-fires-montreal-franchisee-over-nazi-remarks-at-protest
