  1. That's not what he's asking. He's asking if you're a PALESTINIAN, or a supporter.
  2. This isn't about being better than anyone else..................but simply a reminder to JEWS about who you are. In dark times such as now - may it serve as a comfort that GOD had chosen you, and will be there for you. To all Jews out there, many Christians are praying for you. You are not alone.
  3. Continuation................ Support for Zionism—the belief in Jewish self-determination—is as American as apple pie. “Israel occupies a unique place in American foreign policy,” Mead observes, “because it occupies a unique, and uniquely charged, place in the American mind.” To prove his point, Mead doesn’t begin his book in 1948 with Israel’s creation as a modern state. Instead, he begins with the founding of the United States. From its inception, the United States has had a unique relationship with the Jewish people. America was vastly more tolerant and less antisemitic than many of its European counterparts. This isn’t to say that antisemitism didn’t exist—it certainly did, and Mead does highlight the antisemitic beliefs that were common among many Americans, from the conservative ruling class to the populist movements that helped birth progressivism in the early twentieth century. But America’s founders were also steeped in both the Bible and classical history, displaying a deep reverence for Greek and Roman civilization. This imparted a respect for ancient Hebrew civilization as well. From the start, the United States viewed itself as a providential power with a unique mission to democratize the world. This also translated into a desire to restore the Jewish people to their ancestral homeland. “I could find it in my heart to wish that you had been at the head of a hundred thousand Israelites,” John Adams wrote to a Jewish friend, “making a conquest of that country and restoring your nation to the dominion of it.” Importantly these beliefs were in evidence long before the mass immigration of Jews to the United States in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. They were part of the national character early on. Americans also have a long-standing fascination with “the lands of the Bible,” Mead notes. This grew considerably in the nineteenth century. After Harriet Beecher Stowe’s anti-slavery opus Uncle Tom’s Cabin, the second best-selling book at the time was an illustrated work of Holy Land travels entitled The Land and the Book. Nor was support for Zionism limited to American Christians, whose various sects had differing attitudes toward the idea. While religion certainly did play a role, many early advocates of Zionism weren’t particularly religious. In 1891, for example, Rev. William Blackstone, a famed preacher of the day, presented then-President Benjamin Harrison with a petition calling for the United States government to persuade European leaders to lobby the Ottoman sultan for the establishment of a Jewish national home. Known to history as the Blackstone Memorial, the document has often been cited as an example of Christian Zionism. But, as Mead notes, the signatories included a diverse group of Americans with varying religious commitments: “For many of the signers, the petition merely expressed the long-held belief among both religious and secular people of the nineteenth century that the Jews, like the Greeks and the Italians, could regain some of their ancient glory and greatness if freed from foreign rule and oppression.” https://nationalinterest.org/blog/middle-east-watch/roots-american-support-israel-204601
  4. Why Jews are disproportionally successful Jews try to downplay their success and we often consider those who talk about it as borderline anti-Semites, but it is something we must embrace, analyze and ultimately share with others The fact that Jews are disproportionally successful in many fields of endeavor is undeniable. The statistics simply speak for themselves. Jews make up less than half of one percent of the world’s population but they consistently have made up more than twenty percent of the Forbes 400 list of the world richest people. But it is not just making money that a disproportionate amount of Jews seems to excel at. Thirty percent of Nobel Prize winners in science are Jewish, and major Hollywood studios, like Paramount Pictures and Universal Studios, are also run or owned by Jews. In virtually every industry successful Jews are disproportionally represented. https://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3592566,00.html That includes their................. M I L I T A R Y.
  5. This can be considered as my tribute to ISRAEL. Literally, Israel means, “One who struggles with G‑d.” That is the name God had given Jacob. (Gen 35: 10) Imagine how Israel had managed not only to survive, but to be among the leading nations in the world...............after only a few decades of establishing the state of Israel. Jews seem to excel at everything. Why wouldn't they? Exodus 31 31 Then the Lord said to Moses, 2 “See, I have chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, 3 and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills— 4 to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze, 5 to cut and set stones, to work in wood, and to engage in all kinds of crafts. 6. Pro-HAMAS rallies should be stopped, since Hamas has been declared a terrorist organization in Canada. That's not the same as saying pro-PALESTINIANS should be stopped from rallying. Just like pro-Israel have a voice, they too, have a voice in a democratic system. However, the same hate rules should apply to them.
  7. What a surprise! I never thought that you'd be an anti-semite, nor that you'd be a Hamas fan boy! They don't have to show each and every photo of killings to you! No one has to convince you.....like as if you're the judge to verify what is atrocious or not! I suppose you've never heard of the kinds of brutalities Islamic jihadists like ISIS (which is similar with Hamas), can do. And if you have heard of them - I suppose you never believed in them either. I suppose you're among the Holocaust deniers! There isn't any doubt that Hamas had planned and committed a SLAUGHTER! However the slaughters have been done - surely you're not suggesting that only actual burning and beheadings of babies wold go be considered atrocious by you? Gunning down someone in cold-blood, is nothing to you? OH CANADA, how low we've sunk as..................... HUMANS! 8. Trudeau will struggle to 'make himself relevant' at APEC summit
  9. ‘This is what happens when ignoramuses take charge’: Douglas Murray on Trudeau’s Canada
  10. Forget that wet dream Netanyahu just said Israel will take security responsibility over Gaza, after the fighting is over. That means: OCCUPATION! That's how it should've been since the 60's war!
  11. So - has any Canadian citizen came out of Gaza on Sunday? As far as I know (unless I'm wrong) - no one came out. And the border has been closed again.
  12. I suppose that's just one bumbling thing after another. What was the last fiasco? The one with India - every one suddenly got quiet about that. Lol - the western world have been romancing India - until Trudeau came along with his accusations! Perhaps, everyone is keeping a distance from Trudeau......hence, no support even from the USA about our citizens trapped in Gaza. I saw a photo shoot on tv with that latest summit. Trudeau was positioned at the end - far from USA. We've been sunk by Trudeau! We're not taken seriously anymore on the world stage - that's an understatement.
  13. You better get your facts straight: It's Hamas, and other Islamists that are planning to do a genocide on Israel. They don't even make any secrets about their intention. Understanding Hamas’s Genocidal Ideology A close read of Hamas’s founding documents clearly shows its intentions. https://www.theatlantic.com/international/archive/2023/10/hamas-covenant-israel-attack-war-genocide/675602/ Hamas calls for 'annihilation' of Israel and promised to repeat the horrific attacks of October 7 'again and again' 'Israel is a country that has no place on our land. We must remove that country,' said the terrorist group's former Foreign Minister Ghazi Hamad. Asked on Lebanese TV if that meant the annihilation of Israel, he replied: 'Yes, of course. 'The existence of Israel is what causes all that pain, blood and tears… and must be finished. ' https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12699265/Hamas-calls-annihilation-Israel-repeat-attacks-October-7.html Hamas is the freakin' NAZIs all over again.
  14. Innocent Palestinians, should see Israel's invasion as a......................BLESSING! After all, who wants to see themselves - especialy their children - as convenient HUMAN SHIELDS? This is Gaza's LIBERATION from a monster! Gazans should pray Israel wins this war.
  15. Blame HAMAS for that. It's HAMAS that DELIBERATELY built their bunkers and tunnels underneath schools, refugee camps, hospitals and homes! It doesn't takes a genius to figure out why.
  16. This is how Poilievre will deal with liberal reporters. Their stupidity gets highlighted! ? REPORTER: In terms of your strategy currently, you're obviously taking the populist pathway. PIERRE POLIEVRE: What does that mean? REPORTER: Well, appealing to peoples' more emotional levels, I would guess. POLIEVRE: What does that mean? Give me an example. REPORTER: Certainly you tap very strong ideological language quite frequently. POLIEVRE: Like what? REPORTER: Uh, left-wing this and that, right-wing -- POLIEVRE: I never really talk about left and right, I don't really believe in that. REPORTER: A lot of people would say that you're simply taking a page out of the Donald Trump book. POLIEVRE: Which people would say that? REPORTER: Well, I'm sure a great many Canadians. POLIEVRE: Like who? REPORTER: I don't know who. POLIEVRE: Well you're the one who asked the question. So you must know somebody? REPORTER: I'm sure there's some out there but the point of this question is, why should Canadians trust you with their vote, given, you know, not just the sort of ideological implications of taking the page out of Donald Trump's book-- POLIEVRE: What are you talking about? What page? Give me the page. You keep saying that. REPORTER: In terms of taking things quite dramatically, in terms of Trudeau and the left-wing and all of this, you make quite, as you know, it's quite a play. POLIEVRE: I don't know what your question is. REPORTER: Then forget that, why should Canadians trust you with their vote? POLIEVRE: Common sense. Common sense for a change. We're going to make common sense common in this country. We don't have any common sense i the current government. The guy prints $600 billion and grows our money supply by 32% in three years, that's growing the money eight times faster than the economy. No wonder we have the worst inflation in four decades. I'm going to cap spending, and cut waste, so we can balance the budget and bring down inflation and interest rates. Do you want to be able to pay your mortgage again? Do you want to be able to afford rent? Then you have to vote for Pierre Poilievre because I am the only one with a common sense plan that will bring back the buying power of your paycheck. https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2023/10/17/pierre_poilievre_dismantles_reporters_ego_while_eating_an_apple_i_dont_know_what_your_question_is.html
  17. Israeli ministry 'concept paper' proposes transferring Gaza civilians to Egypt's Sinai, with Canada as a possible final destination https://www.ctvnews.ca/world/israeli-ministry-concept-paper-proposes-transferring-gaza-civilians-to-egypt-s-sinai-with-canada-as-a-possible-final-destination-1.6623901 This is how the world sees us: The sucker who conveniently serves as a dumping ground.
  18. .......many see staying as an act of defiance, a chance to fight for change. There. Many opt to stay and fight for change. Meaning....................To fight against israel. Canada's reputation for harboring terrorists, doesn't help at all. That must be the reason why Canadians are having a hard time to leave. Many are enemies of Israel.
  19. Lol - Poilievre is playing him like a violin. ?
  20. Read my previous response to him. He's re-defining "WORK" to suit his narrative. He gave an inaccurate claim.....and I just showed him. PS: this is why I wish the posts are numbered! You'll just have to scroll back up looking for what post I meant! I have no time to waste looking for it myself.
  21. Where is thy clout? You don't matter anymore? Hundreds of Canadians remain trapped in Gaza as foreign nationals from other countries have been able to cross into Egypt. No Canadian was on the latest list published by Gaza border authorities of those approved to leave on Friday. One family said they received a call from Canadian officials to be ready at a moment's notice, but have not yet been informed on when they could leave. Canada has registered about 450 of its citizens who want to leave Gaza. So far, dozens of Americans have been able to leave in the last three days. People from other countries, including Britain, Sri Lanka, Mexico and European nationals have either left or are on the approved list to leave. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-67298104 What's the real reason why no Canadians are included?
