  1. There is probably some truth in what you say, but there is plenty of incompetence to go around, Ukraine being less than “hyper” competent. But since I haven’t described what I think Russia’s goals are, it’s presumptive to suggest I crown them with hyper competence. I really don’t know what Putin’s goals are, and neither does the news media by the sounds of it. One thing I noticed. Russia is about to default on some international debt(?) they haven’t serviced. It appears that they haven’t because the various financial sanctions are interfering with their ability to make payments. in turn, Putin has said that all payment for his natural gas to Europe must now be in rubles. All of Europe is refusing. He could cut off their gas. He’s already threatening to cut way back on grain exports, which would further squeeze NATO countries, and the world. China wants Russian grain and oil, apparently. They and Japan haven’t levelled any sanctions against Russia. Translation? This thing is a long way from over.
  2. That must be why they didn’t take out Ukraine’s utilities and major military installations, and amassed only 150,000+ troops prior to invasion. Because they wanted to take over the entire country…
  3. He doesn’t want to take Ukraine. That’s the assumption that is tripping up the West. And why is the idea being pushed when the evidence doesn’t support it? Not sure why that is, perhaps it’s to have a reason to remove Putin. Because it’s obvious that removing Putin is the main goal. There is so much propaganda coming from media sources it’s really difficult to discern the truth. If Putin wanted Ukraine, he would have taken it in the first 2 weeks.
  4. Obama popped back into the public eye, at the White House of all places. Some say this has been his 3rd term, pulling Sleepy Joe’s strings in the background. If that theory is true, the person that replaces Joe would have to be pliable and a good team member of the globalist club.
  5. I have never held a Euro, only American and Mexican bucks. Every now and then I hear talk about new digital currencies that many of the first world countries want to move to. So perhaps in the next few years carrying the right currency will be easier to do. My wife collects coins, mostly Cdn and US. I had forgotten we once had 50 cent and 1.00 coins in Canada. These coins used to buy a restaurant meal. I know it’s an accepted part of economic theory, but i can’t help but wonder what the downside to inflation might be over time.
  6. I hate to be a Debbie downer, but it turns out that Ukraine is the breadbasket of Europe.  Their grain crops feed many in Europe, and the war will greatly impact the food supply.
Now the US is battling a bird flu, culling millions of birds that won’t be available for food.

Time to stock up the food pantry, people.

I read somewhere that things will really spiral down (food-wise) around August this year.  Prices will really jack up.  Macron is considering food vouchers for low and middle-income families.  Corn and wheat shortages will impact so many products.

  7. Your thread title intrigues me. If countries are moving away from the US being a reserve currency, then US currency would drop in value. Perhaps that’s why you carry “arches” now? And what would a dropping US currency mean for our Canadian bucks?
  8. What would he say about his son?
  9. Okay, here’s a link to the incident with the Canadian banks. https://fee.org/articles/did-justin-trudeau-s-financial-crackdown-really-spark-a-bank-run-in-canada/
  10. Well my post is not disinfo, it really happened, all except for what the banks might have had to do in response. I went to my bank just after the Emergency Powers had been rescinded, all 3 bank machines were out of cash mid day. The line up to the tellers was a 1/2 hour.
  11. Perhaps you could come up with an alternate theory WRT August’s issue? Stay on topic and all that…
  12. I hadn’t heard about this. I’m still kind of shaking my head about the fact that the federal government can freeze your bank accounts if they decide to. And cancel your car insurance. it was shortly after this that apparently there was some sort of emergency in our banking system and I think the banks closed early because they were running out of cash. Or because of all the people withdrawing their cash(in response to the gov’s crazy move), the banks couldn’t conduct business concerning loans. Or something like that. The very next day in response, Trudeau lifted the Emergency Powers. I’ll bet the banks had to make a change due to the unexpected consequences at the ATMs when the Emergency Powers Act was, uh, activated by Trudeau.
  13. Suppose a major international type event causes the US dollar to drop 1/3 overnight, say at the end of April.  Panic and hyper inflation take over and basic foods and commodities disappear in short order across the globe.

What would you do now to prepare for such an event?

I've read somewhere from a personal account of someone who'd lived through a collapse, is the amount of garbage that quickly accumulated.  He said he never thought that garbage bags would be so much needed.

....and while we're at it, don't forget to add needles and thread to your list (for mending), and staple gun and nails, duck tapes, and nails in varying length and sizes.

Also long-burning candles,  flashlight, and batteries (for the radio too).

Museums are also a great source to find things that don't need electricity to run...like sewing machines, wash machines, with hand ringers, or steam driven tractors...beats doing it by hand, and gas is not going to last forever, it would be a climate change protestors dream...

  14. Hopefully you’ll get around to the Ukrainian war crimes in the Ukraine.
  15. Those are actually the least of his criminal conduct. He is going to bring down his father. Take it to the bank.
  16. All in good time. It’s going to be a bumpy spring for the left, me thinks.
  17. So now NBC has turned on the Bidens. Joe claims Hunter never made any money in China, but NBC points out, it looks like he did…
  18. And the FBI has had Hunter’s laptop since it was surrendered to them by the computer tech. He wrongly figured they would do something about all of the crimes contained therein. The beautiful thing is, once Hunter gets indicted, the FBI will have no other alternative than to start doing their jobs. The ones that don’t get fired, anyway.
  19. And CBS is waking up too(to the reality of Hunter’s business dealings)
  20. So anyway, looks like even CNN has finally noticed the Hunter issue…
  21. I checked into Catherine, and I think I like the cut of her jib, and what she did for mother Russia. And I can see how Putin has some similar goals and the like, but there are some big differences too. Starting with Ukraine. I was talking to a woman in her seventies about Ukraine and she informed me that the worst Nazis of the bunch back in WWII were Ukrainian Nazis. Which lends credence to what Putin is saying about parts of the Ukrainian army and what they are doing to Russians(and now torturing captured Russian soldiers). Ukraine has weaved a strange path since their most recent independence from Russia, but then there is Putin. He has now returned Russia's currency to the gold standard instead of submitting any further to the world system. Funny thing, Libya switched to gold backed currency and then got wiped out, but that's a rabbit trail I should stay off of. At any rate, Putin seems to have made a pretty big step with this currency thing, and then invading Ukraine. He claims he's got evidence of American funded Bio labs working on some pretty nasty stuff. I can't help but wonder if his goals diverge greatly from Catherine's. Why would he make these moves now? How does alienating the community of nations like this have any benefit for Russia? Because they are certainly all taking his name off their Christmas card lists, if you get my drift, very much unlike Catherine. This is also when Biden and others started fearmongering about Russia and biological warfare, like Russia would release some chemicals in Ukraine in an act of pure madness. But this is when he says he was bombing and destroying some of these labs. Could it be that the world was just waiting for some kind of bio leak to result from a lab being bombed, and then claim Russia released an agent on purpose, all the while denying there are any such labs in the Ukraine? I better not go down that rabbit trail either. It's quite hard to discern the truth of the matter, but Putin doesn't seem like an idiot when he's made international appearances or is seen talking in a press release. He seems pretty calm cool and collected.
  22. Hilary Clinton and the DNC just got fined by the FEC for lying about paying funds to Fusion GPS in 2016 for the Russian Steele Dossier.   Neither will be appealing.  It's about time.

I saw that!  That’s big news, you’d think the media would be interested in that.

  23. Hilary's 2016 campaign was also on a mission, not to win the election so much as to take down Trump, and here's more proof. The FEC(Federal Election Commision) has just fined Clinton for LYING about the funding of the Russian "dossier". The Democratic National Committee was also fined. They both violated rules on disclosing expenditures of payments they funneled to the opposition research firm Fusion GPS through their law firm. And there's more. And they won't be appealing.
  24. To the question, was Covid a part of god‘s plan, I suppose the unspoken assumption is made that God is in control of the world and its events that transpire. And God was, or was not surprised by Covid. As I’m a Christian, you are going to be a little puzzled to hear me say that God is not in control of world events, and didn’t unleash Covid. Its because of free will, and God’s design for His creation to either love and accept His gift, or reject it all and say He doesn’t exist. If God forced His creation to love Him, that isn’t really love, is it? Kind of like how people in North Korea “love” their dictators. The evil that exists in the world is because of those that choose to chase after things that destroy them. I could really go off on a lot of rabbit trails at this point, but I’ll refrain to focus, at least for the time being, on Covid. Covid was designed in a lab and not by God. I view it as evil to mess with viruses, to “add function”, which makes a virus spread more easily. Evil organizations and people, doing things that would have disastrous results if their Frankenstein gets loose. And then whipping up vaccines to profit off the calamity. Disgusting. I’ll try to add more later on, as this post may generate more questions than answers…
  25. And where do you learn about what Putin's methods are? Hopefully not the MSM, who are basically fanning the flames.
