  1. This has got nothing to do with hate. This has got to do with Quebec bullying the Fed's into a corner for outrageous demands. The federal government should stand on its own two feet and treat all provinces equally and not be threatened by provinces like Quebec, to tear apart Ottawa's federal real estate to satisfy Quebec's 'lust for power'. Well, they could save even more money moving the offices to P.E.I. or Nova Scotia or Manitoba if that was a prime motivator, which it isn't. You are just a typical socialist who believes 'one for one and one for all'. Have respect for your country and know all federal government buildings belong in the Capital city of Canada, Ottawa and no where else. The federal government is not a company and should not pander to any province to appease a ' a cheap power grab' especially Quebec a province that that caters to its own separatist or sovereign ideologies and could not care less about the federal government or other provinces in Canada.
  2. Can you proof any federal poll is legitimate. If you can't, why the hell label me as a liar. There you go. The same old militant Quebec style threats puking from the mouth total asshole.
  3. "Gatineau's mayor was overjoyed yesterday, and Ottawa's mayor just shrugged it off, as the federal government announced that more than 6,000 public service jobs will move north across the river by 2011." "With these four properties, "by 2010, 2011, we'll have reached a ratio of 75 per cent/25 per cent," http://www.canada.com/ottawacitizen/news/c...74-7e074d7da114 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What law says Quebec is entitled to 25% of federal jobs? Why is the federal government tearing apart the rightful home of the federal home of government, the capital city of Canada, Ottawa, Ontario, to appease a province that never even bothered to sign our constitution? When will the tax payers of this country demand an active voice to stop this traitorous fedral pandering to a province that deserves nothing?
  4. Actually it is Liberal nanny-ism and 1982 'Charter of Rights and Freedoms' that removed the importance of Christianity in Canada and is probably the main reason you feel confident enough for your public contempt of Christianity. The point is to publicly beat down Christianity in favour of atheism, shows just how immature you really are and how you fail to recognize (even if you don't believe in Christianity) the importance to society, a national religion plays in maintaining social unity. I to have seen this frequently out on the net and simply believe it there solely to beat down Christianity in favour of a secular society. I don't go to church that often either, but support my Christian denomination and fully believe Christianity is beneficial to families who wish to participate. But the strange thing is, out of all people who beat down Christianity, I have heard few complaints against Muslims, who in the U.S. (Canada would be similar results) say 47% believe they are Muslim first rather than American with 70% who say religion is very important, with 61% who pray everyday and 40% attend mosque on a weekly basis.
  5. Leafless, are you saying that if one does not share the beliefs of the majority, then one is not a bona fide member of Canadian society? I did say: "The question you SHOULD be asking, is are you a bona fide member of Canadian society." Of course all Canadian citizens are members of society, including prostitutes, gangsters, murderers, rapist, ATHEIST, etc. But basically, these people are living in a sheltered society provided by organized society and are not directly contributing to the overall betterment of society which does not make them genuine members of society as compared to the efforts of those who do contribute to the overall betterment of society. Problem is Renegade, what happens to society, when the majority citizens of this country chose to ignore contributing to the overall betterment of society, relating to religion, laws, values, moral conduct, respect for authority etc?
  6. You can't even provide the question asked from the Fed's corrupt telephone poll, and how it was phrased and I am supposed to believe you. I have several threads open and if no one directly challenges my opening statement and the thread veers in a different direction, so be it. I am not the 'Gestapo' like you and your friends in Quebec are. If your not open for a challenge, don't post.
  7. what fact? What "fact" tells us that Canada is a majority Christian religion? http://www.census2006.ca/francais/census01...&B1=Canada&B2=1 What I said was: "based on the fact this is a majority Christian country." Do you honestly believe Drea, Canada and the U.S. would have progressed and prospered in the absence of Christianity? We know for a fact up to RECENTLY Canada has supported Christianity and has used Christianity to the countries advantage in helping keep the workforce, decent, law abiding, hard working and committed to family and church. This is all changing fast. As I look out the window this moment a teenage girl pushing a baby carriage, proceed on a strangers lawn to steal a handful of flowers to give to the little girl in the carriage, then proceeds to discard a half litre bottle of soft drink all over the sidewalk and throws the empty bottle into the middle of the roadway and continues on her way. You can shove your new Canada Drea and the government that goes with it.
  8. Based on what? Another corrupt telephone poll that only includes names of Liberal supporters. The only results I will believe are those from a plebiscite or referendum including the phrasing of the question asked.
  9. The question you should be asking, is are you a bona fide member of Canadian society, based on the fact this is a majority Christian country. I know this question could mean nothing to you in Trudeau language and is why the country is rapidly deteriorating.
  10. I think you should stick you your own threads, and stop polluting mine with your anti-Quebec propaganda. Why is it perfectly okay for you to promote and support communist type ideologies and complain when someone who supports democratic initiatives, you label "anti-Quebec" which in reality is 'anti-social engineering'. Understand the difference. I suggest if you want to promote communist ideologies 'blog it' somewhere in Cyberspace, rather than irritate good Canadians on this site, who believe in Canadian nationalism and a free and democratic Canada.
  11. Firstly, it is up to the Quebec government to promote the French language outside of Quebec. The federal government waded into this area originally with biculturalism and soon found out it discriminated badly and changed it to 'official multiculturalism' to accommodate the many complaints. The federal government of course actively promotes for a bilingual Canada but still racially discriminates against all English speaking Canadians since there was never any official mandate from the citizens of Canada to do this. Even though French is an official language, the federal government has failed to equally promote other foreign languages in Canada since Canada is 'officially multicultural' and all languages should receive the same preference, since all Canadians are federal tax payers. Don't you think Trudeau damged Canada enough with communist policies? Canada is not Europe and people usually learn languages for a purpose. You cannot force people to learn a language for no other reason than to serve another (minority) cultures self interest. So far all your ideas to propagate bilingualism has been through the use of Canadian tax payer funded initiatives applied in an undemocratic and discriminatory manner. Video games are a hard sell as it is. Integrate it all you want but the added cost will only further discourage potential buyers.
  12. Plebiscites and referendum can be subjected to the same distortions and manipulation as elections. Nothing is pure. Who is talking about elections. Iam talking about corrupt telephone polls and this is what current Canadian governments do, to supposedly find out what Canadians want, how Canadians feel about important issues. This has nothing to do with representation but a lot to do with how the federal government want Canadians to think about a certain issue.
  13. Some might say Liberal Jean Chretien was not only a liar, but a thief and a thug. http://www.rfcsask.ca/HalSchnareLetter.htm
  14. The only way to find out what Canadians 'want' is by way of a plebiscite or referendum. All other methods are subject to corruption or manipulation and could be viewed as being 'totally fraudulent'.
  15. What they are promoting now is 'community cohesion' as an answer to unite communities. "For all the hopeful talk about "integration", "multiculturalism" and now "cohesion", the reality on the ground appears to be that Britain's Muslim Asian community and its white community have few points of contact, and that the white majority often feel they share little in common with the growing Muslim Asian minority." What is 'community cohesion'? A cohesive community is one where: 1-there is a common vision and a sense of belonging for all communities. 2. the diversity of people’s different backgrounds and circumstances is appreciated and positively valued 3.-those from different backgrounds have similar life opportunities 4.-strong and positive relationships are being developed between people from different backgrounds and circumstances in the workplace, in schools and within neighbourhoods" http://www.idea.gov.uk/idk/core/page.do?pageId=5770040 Let's be honest. It is apparent nothing works. Different cultures want to be among themselves and in control of their own communities. But this creates the tremendous difficulty by the creation of mini societies within a country all desiring equality especially focusing on employment. How can this ever possibly be accomplished? In Canada the political appetite of Quebec is insatiable and will only be satisfied when it politically controls Canada or is it's own separate country. It is apparent Muslims want the same thing along with some other races and cultures and some are totally alien to any form of lawful, organized society. To bad the feds are so incompetent in this area making majority native Canadians pay the price for their blunders.
  16. I sort of agree with margrace on this one, who said: "But I think this trip of Harper is nothing but a show to get Canadians to support the mission in Afghanistan." If Canada was battling a real army, I doubt if you would see Mr. Harper going beyond the safety of heavily guarded Kandahar Airfield. Canada is fighting a group that specializes in 'hit and run attacks' and incorporating suicide bombers, that picks off Canadian troops like toy ducks in a commercial shooting gallery.
  17. "The figures are bound to raise fresh concerns about the phenomenon of 'white flight', where some families move area to remove their children from schools where there is an intake is predominantly Asian children. The split in communities can also lead to increased racial tensions." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Have British 'Whites' finally had it with forced government cultural integration. Are most ethnics and Blacks simply incompatible with the 'White race'. I don't think one has to be a rocket scientist to know this. Looks like segregation is rapidly becoming the new norm in countries like Britain and I can't help but wonder when meek little White Canadians will be copying the actions of the Brits (if they already aren't but it is simply not being reported). http://observer.guardian.co.uk/uk_news/sto...2089167,00.html
  18. The bilingualism bonus does nothing but rip off tax payers, like everything else associated with federal 'official bilingualism' and was never meant to be an incentive. You probably won't be able to find this anywhere on the net, but the original purpose of the bilingualism bonus was to fill the void in positions not classified bilingual. There were many federal public servants who were doing work that required the use of both languages and that was the purpose of the bilingual bonus, to provide a little extra to compensate for that extra work, if it was proven that actually was the case. To-day federal bilingual positions are advertised as such and a salary paid according to duties making the 'bilingual bonus' a fraudulent extra. Those Liberal guys will make Quebecers millionaires yet, with no thanks to our chicken livered premiers in the rest of the country.
  19. If this is such an important criteria, we have no way of knowing what the quality of a car is. It will always be the driver's fault. I think it is perfectly logical to say, any vehicle built in North America is safe to drive and any that are not, (relating to a previously unknown fault with a component) would be subject to a manufactures recall and the fault rectified. Quality 'per say' is dependent on price and covers different aspects relating to desired personal aspirations. It is rather amazing though, how North American automobile manufactures can turn anything of off the assembly line, for under $30-35k, in comparison to what the dollar was worth in 1980 and still be quite reliable.
  20. That link did not tell me to much. But this one did: http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/cars/pr...kes-compare.htm What Consumer Report's does relating to automobiles is mainly evaluate vehicles incorporating consumer surveys. But then again like I pointed out previously, 'we know nothing about the driving and vehicle care habits relating to the consumers who participate in these surveys'.
  21. And how do they test vehicles jdobbin? Do they do stress test on ball bearings, test individual struts or other components on a work bench simulating thousands of kilometres, test engines under high rpm's until they self destruct? Or do they merely drive a car around a track for handling, wind noise, braking response or check door fit around the frame and come up with their own conclusions about how durable or how ir performs at the expense of the manufacturer. Consumer Reports don't build cars and neither does Lemon Aid, who survives at the expense of buyers of the publication reading other peoples tales of car woes. There is testing a vehicle or playing with a vehicle and with CR's it sounds like the latter, applying their own invented comparison test which serves no real purpose because everyones personal preferences are different, 'what bothers you, might not bother me'.
  22. Politicians' instinct is to dither and temporize, put off decisions so that they become someone else's problem. No politician will advocate civil war, thus the reason for selling the country down the drain.
  23. Quebecers were often referred to by different Quebec sources as 'white niggers of Canada'.
