  1. So is it really a fact that defense minister Gordon O'Connor and General Hillier are actually contributing to torture because they are responsible for our troops turning Afghans over to Afghans? Is to not totally ridiculous to suggest there are rules of law that govern a lawless breakdown of a social order? Is Canada obliged to self destruct in the face of aggression and could consequentially fail because claims of torture are paramount over the importance of Canada's initial mission in Afghanistan to secure the safety of a violently oppressed people. Torture is an ugly word, but I believe is being used as a socialist weapon to only beat down the present Conservative government to put Canada back into the hands of self righteous Liberal government. War is also an ugly word but torture is sometimes necessary to obtain important information which could save many lives on top of the fact safeguarding sovereignty might require the use of torture. Maybe it would be wise to pull Canadian troops out of Afghanistan in order to save face and political world wide embarrassment over pansy Liberal torture allegations.
  2. Your the one making that statement up, I've never said any such thing. My position was stated very clearly. Being held hostage to learn an obsolete language by discriminatory undemocratic federal policy in order to gain federal employment, shows and unacceptable level of disdain on behalf of the federal government towards the countries majority English speaking population. Yes you did. Read your own post #297. I have never given you or anyone else personal details surrounding why I resigned and I don't intend to. Your statement is totally fabricated and is a lie. Your brain is totally engulped with French propaganda and hate towards English speaking people. It's accurate. I know many people who admire their city or home town, but none have ever expressed a desire to be loyal to their city or home town. Virtually all desire to be loyal to their country, Canada. This is why we know you are a troll, most likely a French nationalist. You are expressing Quebec sentiments and ideologies. You keep making the same ridiculous statement, " non-separatist who outnumber the separatist". How do you know that when both Quebec referendums were around the 50% mark. Do you know the number of minorities that voted AGAINST Quebec separation? If you don't, you cannot assume separatist are not the majority among Francophone Quebecers. I don't think separatist are true Canadians but are simply taking advantage of the Canadian identity to pursue their objective relating to a separate Quebec. You can troll by yourself as I am out of here , with you anyways...game time is over.
  3. Good shot Drea, but it takes two to tango and besides hormone levels at the ages we are talking about, are not exactly dormant. It would be foolish to deny there is a bias held against women by certain males and women more than males are interested in romanticism and promote competition in this area that in turn promotes an ongoing popularity contest that in many cases turns ugly and is the root cause to settle issues violently. I don't know if it would be unrealistic to have separate schools for the male/ female population of the country and if you ask me, mixed schools to-day, relating to all the associated problems, is one of the main reasons relating to the decay of morals and civilized behavior. Anyways I am simply replying, 'how to stop the next campus shooting'.
  4. You have a lot of nerve alleging I have a dislike for Francophone's without proof and failing to post the offending post. I really don't know what complaints (driven by spite), your talking about, another unproven most serious allegation of a personal nature, you know nothing about, which constitutes a serious personal attack against a fellow poster. You have proven you are both, a bigot and a racist and an outright liar. You said in post #297: " People speaking French around you stresses you out? That's a sign of xenophobia." Let us be reminded, what you said: "People speaking around you stresses you out", is something I never said. Your imagination is working overtime. It seems you are psychotic as well as being a bigot, racist and outright liar. The only reason I agreed with xenophobia claim is because I agree that nationalist Quebecers who think Quebec comes before Canada are in reality 'foreigners', loyal to a foreign nationality and therefore are not Canadians loyal to Canada. I fear all foreigners who are intent on breaking up Canada, especially those who's volatile actions are amazingly condoned, by our own federal government.
  5. I think the catalyst in all these shootings are ...women. How about starting off with separate universities for the babes. Think about it!!! I thought about it. Bad idea. How can professors seduce women if they are in seperate universities? It's obvious that the common demoninator is classrooms. Abolish classrooms and there can be no more classroom shootings. Duh. What I am getting at is the effect of problematic male/female student relationships as being in many cases the catalyst for many of these secondary/university shootings. Just the simple presence of females progressing towards a higher standard of education could prompt envious, controlling males to fly off the handle, pertaining to hatred and jealousy against women. I have always thought it as being a good idea keeping education separate from problematic male/female student relationships which can only be accomplished by keeping both sexes apart.
  6. Sure! Celebrate like crazy. With Ribs, Macs, KFC, Pizza and Beer.
  7. I think the catalyst in all these shootings are ...women. How about starting off with separate universities for the babes. Think about it!!!
  8. Well obviously you're entitled to your opinion, but I clearly disagree. At any rate, I think one's perception of what it means to be Canadian is directly related to how you view the United States. You're either trying to prove that being Canadian is entirely different than being American, or you're trying to prove how similar Canadians are to Americans. No matter how you interpret it, has to be one of the dumbest things jbg has ever said.
  9. Only proves were not ALL EQUAL.
  10. Gore doesn't like it because he probably doesn't even realize how far up North we really are. Living on the 49th ain't no picnic. And yes Mr. Gore unlike California and Texas, our economy DOES depends on energy, a lot of energy.
  11. So much for Quebec as a ' HAVE NOT PROVINCE'. More BS. A province of phony BIG SHOTS supported by Canadians, while many REAL Canadians only can afford to shiver in the snow. And you said it, not I. I was simply agreeing with YOUR statement.
  12. I never learn French for reasons listed previously. My complaints are not directed specifically against ANY Francophone, but rather against the federal government, that allows undemocratic discriminatory advancement of a culture, through traitorous implementation of policies including the Charter, under federal control by corrupt prime ministers from Quebec.
  13. Separation is supported in Quebec by Francophone's and and the very close results indicate that. The only reason Quebec separatist failed in winning the referendum was because of the efforts of immigrants and minorities who all voted AGAINST separation.
  14. It also should be noted 'freedom of religion' is a constitutional right and the blasphemy some posters direct at the Catholic religion is unacceptable and should be picked up by the moderator. I also notice little criticism from (heathens), supporters of the Gay crowd relating to controversial Islam. It is always or mostly Christianity.
  15. An authoritative language law like the one you have just described is contrary to human rights legislation: 'Freedom of speech is the concept of the inherent human right to voice one's opinion publicly without fear of censorship or punishment. The right is preserved in the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights and is granted formal recognition by the laws of most nations.' It is obvious Quebec has no respect for the United Nations Universal Declaration of human rights nor the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Thanks to the English victory on the 'Plains of Abraham'. Why shouldn't it be, as constitutionally speaking Quebec has the right to the French language in Quebec and Quebec also made French the official language of Quebec, spitting in the face of all other provinces in Canada who signed the constitution of Canada, and have linguistic COMMITTMENTS to BOTH of Canada's official languages, unlike Quebec who BTW never even signed Canada's constitution. What policies might those be? If all other provinces signed the Canada's constitution outside of Quebec, other provinces like I mentioned, must abide linguistic commitments to BOTH of Canada's 'official languages'. So you want to use 'de facto' relating to language use, broken down to neighbourhoods. LOL- More trolling by an fraudulent incompetent poster and pretty well relating to all his other replies. Then why have Francophone's managed to flood federal offices, Crown Corporations and have relocated important federal department into all parts of Quebec from its rightful place in Ottawa, Ontario, Capital city of Canada and supposedly home to Canada's federal public service as dictated by England's Queen Victoria. Oh, I know its all about that French skill. I have no idea what your talking about. But I will agree xenophobia is an appropriate word for someone who has a dislike of Francophone's.
  16. I thought political correctness just meant being considerate, which is a christian virtue. Is there an alternative meaning I'm unfamiliar with? Alternative meaning, sure. It's called 'Social Tyranny'. Did you ever hear of the 'Law of Reverse Civilization': When a civilization declines it has stopped getting stronger and cleverer, but has started to become sillier and weaker; it has gone into reverse. This waning is the result of a reversal in the nature of authority; instead of authority ruling its charges, its charges rule authority.
  17. -- and gay too? Talking about spite and unproven allegations. Charles, why don't you be a man and say whatever is on your mind.
  18. Majority English Canada never needed language rights. English WAS the de facto language of Canada and STILL IS the de facto language of Canada, despite the 'Official Languages Act'. LOL- The only reason the 'OLA' became a reality was because of the dysfunctional political system we have in this country that allows cultural wars to continue and corrupt the face and workings of the federal government of Canada, depending on who the government of the day is. The war on the 'Plains of Abraham' is still carried on, with the poor loser French Quebec insistent on taking over and controlling Canada. This was during the French invasion of the federal public service a while back when Franco phones were unleashed into the federal public service by the boatload. New French managers transformed a single English position into three French bilingual imperative positions. No one person forced me to leave my position. It was the linguistic atmosphere that was poisoned by artificial French dominance that destroyed the department I was employed in. My working partner left a year before I did after enduring unbearable animosity and extremely stressful working conditions.
  19. The church did initially offer Gays a chance in the clergy. The rest unfortunately is history. Beats political correctness and guysers empirical reasoning.
  20. Pretty ridiculous. You're going to have the gay people you have. You can't regulate how many. Well, at least not without resorting toi oppressive state measures to regulate sexuality. Which, I suppose, is what people like Leafless would like to see. Oppressive state measures? Is that not your god, the 'State and Self', that speaks its own theological religion (political correctness), teaches its own morality (moral relativism) and censors those violating its precepts.
  21. The 347v ballast are if I am correct, the magnetic type, and still flicker at 120 hertz. But worse that this, relating to fluorescents, is what are all those stray frequencies, otherwise know as harmonic distortion (created by ballast) going to do to electronic equipment and communications when you have hundreds of thousand of ballast all operating at the same time. Of course this is related to overall load but could present a problem in that area.
  22. I know what your talking about relating to mall lighting. I was in a large chain store the other day and it was obvious the fluorescent lighting in the store was on dimmers. Everything around you seemed unreal and lifeless. But worse than that after about 20 minutes I had a harder time than normal seeing things and felt slightly dizzy. After we left that store everything cleared up instantly. We returned to that same store a week later and the same thing happened again. I suspect colour wavelengths and frequency are the culprits but can offer no proof. Relating to your comment that CF bulbs are improving could be true. But in saying that probably means a price increase, opening a whole new ballpark for CF manufactures to cash in on.
  23. What's the matter guyser? Don't believe in an objective and universal moral law?
  24. Well then, what exactly causes sore eyes, migraines and headaches when exposed to watching television, monitors? Even in office buildings where people work under fluorescent lighting all day these symptoms are complained about by people in the same way people complain about monitors and television. Just because the eyes do not notice the rapid pulsations, hertz or cps. does not mean it is not harmful. Obviously it is harmful or there would be no symptoms from devices incorporating rapid pulsations. But my point is directed basically for lighting purposes where most people around the home, virtually use artificial light for everything, for continuous lengths of time. The incandescent light bulb is subjected to 60 hertz like the fluorescent tube is. Unlike the fluorescent tube the incandescent light bulb is like a heater, basically a glowing filament that does not have time to reduce in brilliance in between each cycle of alternating current. So there is no flicker and hertz is not an issue. The brain recognizes this as a STEADY light source, like the sun. Fluorescent tubes do flicker (on-off), due to reversing polarizations that vaporize the mercury that produces the light. How this will affect all Canadians when exposed to daily use is unknown and we already know flickering causes headaches, sore eyes, migraines. This is what the issue is, fluorescence (flicker) is a health hazard to many people and with the planned banning of incandescent light bulbs there will be no recourse to rectify the situation by simply going back to incandescent lighting.
  25. Your picking on the wrong person. Check the content of this thread and you will see it is Kapitan Rotbart who is fixated and obsessed with bilingualism and federal public service jobs. I consider myself reasonably prejudiced and critical relating to the federal governments discriminatory 'official bilingual policy', along with its undemocratic promotion of its version of bilingualism outside of federal jurisdiction into Canadian provinces and cities but ignoring Quebec, concerning enforcing its federal bilingual ideologies in that province. My objections to bilingualism is no rant. I am fighting for my lost constitutional individual rights as a Canadian citizen. Our 'Parliamentary Democracy' form of government is lost in this country with the implementation of 'Charter Rights and freedoms' that protects previous controversial federal government policies. Don't worry Charles, I was a previous a federal public service employee (years ago) who lost employment with the federal government, owing fully to the incredible playful antics of 'official bilingualism' (but with deadly consequences) in the federal government. The last thing I ever desire in my lifetime again, is federal government employment. Being ruined once, was enough for me, which has burdened me ever since with ever lasting hardships.
