  1. Who is talking about the exclusion of others, you added that. 'Others' would only have to follow the existing traditions of Canada, unlike the kind of mess of a country Trudeau left us with his 82' amendments to our constitution that have created in effect ' a no name country'. Anyone can move in to Canada with all their political baggage and set up their own political ideologies and customs with little governmental interference. To-day I am neither proud or dedicated to Canada that has become a socialist of the world 'haven' to accommodate all and any culture with no strings attached.
  2. You sound like you have a high level of contempt for Ontario, so why don't you try uprooting yourself and move to where the action is or where the good life is, according to you. BTW- Manufacturing subsidies are not in the same category as equalization. For instance the Fed's subsidize the auto industry in Ontario and automobiles shipped across Canada create JOBS in all provinces including Nova Scotia.
  3. That is because you do not know what a REAL country is. And that is a country that belongs to your tribe and no one eles's. Then you would feel proud and dedicated.
  4. EDIT: The first sentence should read: "undemocratically elected president".
  5. Oh, god. An undemocratically elected monarch more powerful that our current constitutionally chosen Monarch of Canada. Good luck with that. You mean 'undemocratically president', don't you. Obviously the transition to a republic would be a complicated process and would have to be done in stages.
  6. Interesting question and one that should have been settled years ago (by our cowardly federal government)by presenting Canadians via a referendum, to answer this all important question. As long as that ballot includes soverignty assocation for each and every province in Canada, the way it always should have been done. Currently sovereignty association only applies to Quebec and has no clear definition as the term as never been defined to what it really means. I think Canada would do fine as a republic with a constitution similar to the U.S.
  7. Certainly we would still be Canadian but the president would not have the powers the prime ministers currently have. Powers that have to potentially to destroy Canada or possibly already did. I see nothing wrong with the monarchy outside of being badly abused by power hungry prime ministers and because of this abuse, Canada could have no other alternative than to become a republic to save the country, a move I support but not for the same reasons as yours but purely out of desperation.
  8. What a foolish thing to say. The Queen is the bestower of citizenship for all countries of which she is head of state. She does not require a passport to enter Canada, as all Canadian passports are issued in the Queen's name. The Queen of Canada also bestows all "Order of Canada " honours. In fact you could say the Queen is more Canadian than any of us under our present system of government and deserves the recognition as Canada's historical head of state. What a joke. If the Queen is currently an irritant in Quebec, I can't help to think how Quebec would feel if Canada was a republic, minus all that federal cash. Maybe that is the whole problem, a lack of democracy leaving national political parties to 'pig out' any which way they desire, feeding the elements of corruption and borderline treason if not treason relating to Quebec. Interesting question and one that should have been settled years ago (by our cowardly federal government)by presenting Canadians via a referendum, to answer this all important question.
  9. Agreed. But you overlooked one important point. The money the fed's give the provinces is not Ontario money or Alberta money. Ontario for instance has 38% of the population and pays 42% of federal taxes, the extra 4% because we have more high earning individuals and corporations here. The emphasis is totally on the federal government and how it spends our tax dollars. Equalization is breaking Canada whereas that tax money could be spent in different badly needed areas. Currently Atlantic Canada is in the process of ripping off the federal government and Quebec is treated like a kingdom. The federal government must draw the line somewhere and a good place is the equalization program. Subsidies breed dependencies.
  10. I have been advocating similar sentiments since becoming a member relating to various Islamic issues and many other issues involving political correctness. So please don't include me with the political correctness clique as I am neither a follower or advocate any form of political correctness.
  11. So what do you want to do? Eradicate all Islamic countries, since this is what would have to be done to permanently eliminate world terrorist actions, death threats relating to the Rushdie controversy which is similar to the Danish cartoon caper and the migration of Muslims into Western and European countries. http://plancksconstant.org/blog1/2006/02/w...e_publishe.html
  12. Your link won't open but this one should: http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/06/18/...in2943041.shtml I fail to see the merit granting knighthood to a wanted man. As one Western official suggested: "Western diplomats based in Islamabad said they were expecting to see public demonstrations over the Rushdie knighthood issue, possibly called by Pakistan's more fundamental Islamic political parties. One Western official suggested such protests may provide a way for the more extreme parties to widen their appeal among members of the Pakistani public." But then again freer societies are not part of the Islamic empire and do not have to be held hostage to the threats of barbarians.
  13. I have been drinking PC Honey Red ever since the Conservatives won the last election.
  14. I see we've been reading the Protocals of Zion again... Yes, I admit I flew off the handle and apologize for what I said. It was when JPG said; "Remember, the Jews are disproportionately powerful for various reasons, the main one being that they turn out to the polls in high numbers." I seen this as turning 'out in high numbers' to vote, a reason for being powerful, not reflective of that situation due to their small population and listed the more relevant reasons, although this could be interpreted as being biased and possibly racist. It is simply that I consider voting very important, but when all major political parties are displaying the same corruptness to different major issues, pushes one into a corner relating to voting and I choose not to vote as the only available alternative. I have nothing against Jews and my daughter is married to one.
  15. No I am not comparing the Tories to the Liberals. What I am saying is once a national party (the Liberals) set the stage with corrupt actions to win votes or implement policies and succeed and there is no major outcry from the press or the public, then there is no alternative for other national parties to follow suit to win votes and implement policies utilizing corrupt actions. To bad the Conservatives did not follow suit much earlier although I do not support this type of politics and feel there should be some type of political body to limit the actions of a corrupt political party to win votes. Do you consider that a promise? The Liberals did not have to as they were shamefully supporting a terrorist organization banned in 32 countries. Don't you think it was inevitable that the LTTE would be banned in Canada sooner or later.
  16. Firstly one must decide what kind if country one wants and the general population has no say pertaining to this important question. Obviously, relating to both the U.S. and Canada are not countries driven by a national religion promoting values and morals and decency, but countries driven by GREED and CORRUPTNESS, worsening at a steady rate. This is no phenomena, it is just that 'the monkeys are running the zoo'.
  17. what an assinine remark ! Why don't you learn how to spell the word before making asinine allegations.
  18. I don't think you get what I'm saying. The Tamil Conservative candidate in the article says that his community was confused by the designation of the organization they supported being designated a terrorist organization. The candidate himself was supportive of that organization. The Tories had said in the election that going after LTTE was not a priority. Your right, I was not certain of the article you were making reference to and assumed it was prior to the election but now understand it was after the election. This is why it is important to cite the article you are talking about since this is rather old news. It is still unknown the exact Conservative dealings prior to the election with Tamil candidate Vincent Veerasuntharam and if he admitted being a supporter of the LTTE prior to the election. Either way the Conservatives a national party like the Liberals who dared initially to support a terrorist organization banned in 32 countries, simply took advantage of their corruptness of the Liberals who paved the way to buy votes from a terrorist organization. Surely you must have observed the Conservatives mocking the corrupt ways of the Liberal in the way of vote buying relating to Quebec. Like I said before the Liberal party of Canada is a party that should be banned as their corrupt actions are driving Canada down the road to destruction.
  19. I have cited it many times but here you go: http://www.canada.com/nationalpost/news/st...0fd33a2&k=28254 Why did the Tories keep their intentions to themselves about Tamils and yet run a Tamil in the last election who supported the Tamil organization? Why the answer of course is that Harper supported a terrorist organization as long as it helped him win the election. Or at least that is how you would have interpreted it if the Liberals had done such a thing. I want you to cite the article concerning the Tamil candidate making his controversial statement. The article you provided is concerning the original Conservative banning of the terrorist organization the 'Tamil Tigers' and has nothing to do with the Tamil Conservative candidate making his controversial statement along with the Conservative response to that statement.
  20. And yet the Tories recruited and ran a Tamil in the very least election. That Tamil supported the Tamil organization that was banned. How do you reconcile that? Tamil's population is 200,000 in the GTA and the Conservatives after banning the terrorist organization can run a Tamil in the interest of the Conservative party. Harper does not support terrorist organization period and if that Tamil publicly supported the Tamil organization, the Conservatives do not. This is the second time you have made this claim with citing the actual article. Can you cite that article or story since their is more to it then you are claiming.
  21. I would say Canadian politics is driven by outright corruption to the point of dysfunctionability. The government I will get, whether I vote or not will be unacceptably corrupt Now your being funny. The Jewish population of Canada is 364,000. How a population this size can influence anything is a joke, but perhaps healthy political contributions can have somewhat of an impact. You know as well as I do Jews are a close knit society and manipulate Western society to a large degree with 75% control of Hollywood and 80% of the media, both television and print. Jews also support left wing causes: racial integration, civil rights, open borders, none White immigration, anti-racism (White racism), feminism, abortion on demand, gay rights and anti-euthanasia for the severely disabled. All of this could be seen as an effort to wrestle power from the Whites and control Western society.
  22. It was the Tories that had a Tamil run in the last election who was supportive of the Tamil organization that was declared a terrorist organization. Would you like the Tories banned too or are you just being provocative? Canada is involved any time a Canadian citizen is held prisoners in another country. Khadr can actually be charged and sentenced in Canada for activities in Afghanistan. It was the Conservatives who banned the Tamil tigers as a terrorist organization NOT the Liberals. The Conservatives do not support terrorist organizations like the corrupt traitor Liberals did who were supportive of the Tamil Tigers in Canada. I have no idea why the Khadr family is still allowed to remain in Canada and offer no support for Omar Khadr who is in U.S. custody. Politics in Canada is known to be dysfunctional and this could be the reason for irrational political behavior. Harper is pretty well being forced to look into the Khadr affair but I highly doubt the Conservatives will be instrumental in returning Khadr to Canada. If Khadr is returned to Canada makes another good reason not to vote or participate in our twisted political system.
  23. Why should Canada get involved with U.S. prisoners? It is the same old socialist Liberal vote buying crowd that had refused to ban the Tamil Tigers as a terrorist organization. http://www.asiantribune.com/index.php?q=node/4494 The Liberals are a political party that should be banned in Canada.
  24. Americans are more religious than Canadians. But this has nothing to do with the almost total lack of government regulations and laws that support values and morals. "The only thing that the conservative can hope for is a moral reawakening of the United States. What supports this fact is the so-called "conservative" upsurge recently in this country has focused nearly entirely on economic issues. They are going to "dismantle the welfare state." Bravo, but what about dismantling abortion? Gay rights? Birth control pills and devices? Sex education? Dirty movies and TV? Women's liberation? Secular humanism in the schools? These are the true plagues of American society, not high taxes or welfare, and these diseases are the effect of the general breakdown of the morals of the people. And the problem is that these infections cannot be eradicated legally and logically except by some 'principle, a principle which restricts human freedom only to those objects which are good'. For as long as the cult of liberty is in place, these and the many other noxious influences in our daily lives must continue under the banner of protecting human liberty. That principle which is so badly needed is the 'law of God'. But since Congress is obliged never to establish a religion, it cannot even apply the Ten Commandments to our lives, it cannot even mention Our Lord Jesus Christ the King, and least of all the Roman Catholic Church. No, our country is condemned to worshipping the masonic Liberty Goddess, and thereby to fall headlong into moral corruption and finally destruction. America - or any other country which worships the Liberty Goddess - can only avoid this destruction if it abandons the Cult of Liberty." http://www.biblebelievers.org.au/mason11.htm
  25. I base my logic pertaining to man's advancement in the civilized world enforced with the beliefs of Christianity. Do you actually believe that the progress of Western man would advance without creationism and Christianity? Maybe you don't and maybe I don't, but it is obvious many people do as been proven by the moralistic breakdown of an increasingly orderless, valueless, materialistic bent Western society with third world leeches snapping at our feet, trying to position themselves to take control of broken Western society.
