  1. Karoline Levitt def gives me a blue-veiner. She is without a doubt the most effective WH press secretary in the history of the Nation. She is a hired gun and she is very good at what she is paid for. We all know she does not believe a word of what she says - but she is (have-gun-will-travel) and I applaud her incredible talent.
  2. Basically what ur saying is ur p/o the nose-of-the-camel crew. The fear factor of legislation-creep Trumps ur willingness to support even minimal gun control legislation? Is ur stance logical? Do u support any degree of gun control legislation?
  3. Of course Trump's vitriol is blameless? Dude, he has the 'bully pulpit', more the pity. The media is blamed but they're just reporting on the insane vitriol (racist, xenophobic, national and international) spewed by the unifier in Chief. Shyte rolls down hill, and it never stops coming out of Trump's mouth. Give us a break.
  4. If u need a parachute and u don't have one, you'll never need one. Given the society, social media, the atmosphere in public schools and lack of institutional discipline? Hell ya. Armed security will not stop the increasing violence - I would bet on it mitigating the butchers bill. Politically tho, the optics are all wrong - are we Israel? 😁 (sarcasm) Expense - hopefully the other kid will soak one up? All that said, protect the political hacks! hell ya!
  5. Those statistics (gang related) are excluded from 'mass shooting' data bases - they are not part of the calculus. The US is a gun culture ........ I get it. The gun industry rules Congress The political hacks depend on the support ............. and lets face it, it is a very divisive issue in any 'gun culture'. Relax ......... there is no chance of comprehensive gun legislation. Despite the plethora (and increasing) of mass shooting. Lets protect the political hacks ....... schools?-not so much. A ballroom with a basement akin to a bunker - hell ya!
  6. Alberta's Premier (Governor) Danielle Smith has repeatedly stated that she does not support Alberta separating from Canada and believes in a strong Alberta within a united country. While Smith opposes separation personally, she has committed to honouring the democratic process. If Albertans gather enough signatures on a petition, her government will allow a referendum on provincial separation in 2026 A recent survey (Angus Reid Institute) found that 65 per cent Albertans polled say they would either vote to stay in Canada or lean toward voting that way if a referendum on Alberta separation were held later this year. . Smith is playing very smart politics .......... recent Provincial rhetoric has def drawn the Fed's attention - ala Quebec. While Alberta leans towards secession (not sure how that would work without annexation), Quebec has always leaned toward statehood. If the Quebec Separatists (PQ) win the next provincial election they have vowed to conduct a referendum vote. A French island on a sea of ........................ cosmopolitan Continental culture? Madness . they'd be eaten alive. Over 60 percent of Quebecois have stated in any referendum they would decline secession in favor of unity. Common sense prevails. Quebec has a huge influence politically in any Fed party hoping to gain a majority gov - pi$$ed Alberta off and has for decades - Alberta pays the National bills. (energy) - they want respect.
  7. 600 million firearms complicates things. Schools are an extremely soft target - they're also social pressure cookers .... and any mass shooting levers the outrage - they are the perfect targe politically. Comprehensive gun legislation is never going to happen ........ political hacks use this divisive issue effectively - gun sales surge, post, any mass shooting. Fear factor? So, the only thing that works, is tighter security (armed) and prosecuting the guardians. Arming teachers is asinine ........ basically providing the shooter with a weapon.
  8. ........ arguably Trump's second campaign was a last ditch strategy for him to remain out of jail (pardon notwithstanding) Little doubt that Trump saw 'Epic Fury' as a self stroke to win the Midterms.
  9. Re: 'So, what does any of this have to do with anything' What is the common denominator in any shooting? Re: "I am all for safe storage and people should be responsible" Concur.
  10. ........Germany annexed the Sudetenland arguing that a large portion of the population was German. Chamberlain (PM) returned to London (1938) with a Peace Agreement (Munich) - 'Peace in our Time' - a forlorn hope as a year later with Germany's invasion of Poland, WWII began. The door did not hit Chamberlain on the a$$ as Churchill took the reigns widely recognized as the greatest leader of the 20th century. The point is, geo-conquest ambitions led to a global conflagrations, we are still feeling the reverberations. (Ukraine, China, Russia) Putin pulled a Sudeten-move in Ukraine (Donbas). There are no large portions of Kanada that claim U.S. allegiance - more French or Chinese. 😁
  11. Doubt Canadians ever experienced a political hack with the personal charisma of Trudeau Sr. Trudeau vs. Stanfield? 😅
  12. ................. yeah, def unstable with the rise of Nationalism.
  13. Most mass shootings are not gang-related, in fact many databases exclude gang related incidents to enable them to focus on public attacks. Research suggests that approx 35 percent of U.S. gun owners use their firearms for hunting purposes. This means that out of the estimated 40 percent of U.S. households that own guns roughly 11 to 14 percent possess firearms intended, at least in part, for hunting. As of 2025 the U.S. has an estimated 550 million, civilian-owned firearms. Going forward, some common sense legislation is needed ...... generally the innocent - the easy targets, will do the suffering. Irony is that a lot of those shot own guns and discourage gun laws. Gun ownership is a hot button issue in the U.S., ............. its a political issue, common sense goes out the window.
  14. Starting with the basics - responsible gun ownership is not only about how, where, and when a person uses their firearm; it's also about how store it when not in use. Over 74 percent of Americans support laws that require a person to lock up the firearms in their homes when not in use. U one of those so-called, 'nose of the camel', dudes when it comes to gun law reform......... ........... haha
  15. To date there have been approximately 121 mass shootings in the U.S............. with mass shootings steadily increasing in frequency over the past decades. Dude, the solution might be political but the problem is National. It is not the citizens love of guns, its the fear of being shot to death that drives the gun industry..... the industry grooms the fear. Fear, baby ............ u feared? 😄
  16. I don't hate guns, they are tools, akin to Trump .................................... and others? 😄
  17. Awareness is the first step towards change, self-understanding and personal growth. The longest journey begins with the first step ............. best get urself some good walking shoes. 😁
  18. By 2100, it is projected that 82 million Americans will be of retirement age, which means that a significant number of U.S. citizens of traditional working age will need to support the elderly population. This demographic shift is expected to create a growing demand for social services and support for the elderly as the number of retirees increases dramatically. The U.S. is undergoing a demographic shift that threatens the future of Social Security and Medicare. Longer lifespans, fewer births and aging baby boomers are creating a financial crisis that form the backbone of American retirement security. U assume far too much ......... but I will say that Kanada's social programs are in better shape to care for its citizens than that of the U.S. OMG - Trumps, Big Beautiful Bill is going to increase the debt by trillions while at the same time reducing access to medical care. The Social Security system is currently facing significant challenges. The 2025 Trustee Report indicates that Social Security is only eight years away from insolvency ......... other fed programs are also facing insolvency. Here's the beauty about the PRC - there is no partisan politics. The governments works on amortization economic schemes that span decades .......... with short term strategies. They make decisions in the National interest and not based on the scrapings of oligarchs
  19. haha................. daresay a lot of Americans are going to be living in cardboard boxes and eating out of dumpsters.
  20. .............. Trump really has his panties in a knot. Little thought to protecting the school kids Anyone remember the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting mass shooting in Newtown, Connecticut on Dec 14 2012 that left 26 people dead and 2 injured - 20 children shot dead and 6 adults. But, OMG, protect the political hacks.
  21. Yeah, Jared and Witkoff are real pros. 😄
  22. The shooter was black. Although I don't agree with his actions, I understand the motivation. Thank God the perp was an absolute amateur - imagine a bomb
