I'm sure ur familiar with SCOTUS, July 2024 decision, Trump v. United States. It was unique in that it established former presidents enjoy significant immunity from criminal prosecution for actions taken while in office. The ruling was comprised of 3 parts: absolute immunity for acts within a president's core constitutional power, presumptive immunity for other official acts, and no immunity for private conduct. It provides the correct amount of immunity for a sitting President .......... and provides protection from prosecution for acts taken while in office in pursuit of official acts. Amusing to bear witness on how this will be exploited by both the black and white cats. Are we seeing it now?

The WWG was stood-up following an EO from Trump entitled, ‘Ending the Weaponization of the Federal Government no less. The stated action is to review actions by federal and state officials that the ADMINISTRATION deemed politically motivated, including prosecutions, civil enforcement actions and other legal measures against TRUMP and his allies. The working group is tasked with identifying instances where government agencies may have pursued political objectives rather than legitimate justice goals and providing quarterly reports to the WHITE HOUSE (Trump). The Weaponization Working Group has faced criticism for being politically motivated itself. Ed Martin’s public statements and actions, including accusations against public officials without formal charges, have been described as breaking DOJ protocol and potentially undermining the credibility of investigations Critics argue that the group’s approach, including public shaming, risks politicizing the Justice Department further and blurring the line between legal review and political advocacy. Standing up the Weaponization Working Group (by Trump EO), gave the DOJ (Pam Bondi) cover to do exactly what Trump was accusing Biden of doing................. weaponize the DOJ ............ and she had a feast until 'bone spurs' fired her a$$ for not acting in a more expedient fashion in weaponizing her office.
